I have read hundreds of children’s books to my daughter over the years and enjoy having discussions with her about the book and what lesson she may have learned. one day. It was my five year old daughter that was doing the teaching. She taught me a lesson that hit me so hard I felt compelled to write a story about it. The next night I tucked her in bed and told her the story of Dirty Penny. She wanted me to read the book Dirty Penny every night. There was no book...until now. Enjoy!
