A Dog
My dog sitting job is all this week, and she is on the back porch guarding the place as if it were her own. Nico is her name, and no birds or squirrels will be nearing her throne. She is on her haunches and ready to attack any small species that happen to gain her attention. She is alert, and my rope is way too short, but if this leash is unhooked, over the fence she would vault. And this happened on her last visit, which I forgot to mention. Dogs are my favorite animal to watch and love but affording the vet bills I can’t get involved. So love and affection, that’s all we can give, and she is right back at you with a tail-wagging gift.
An Arrow
Sir, I have, but two topics, yourself and me, and I am sick of both. Samuel Johnson came up with this quote.
