Huong Le is a Vietnamese immigrant, at the age of 12, she moved to America. She graduated from Union University with a Bachelor Degree in Science of Nursing. She is a Registered Nurse working for Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She was a Catholic, who had been astray for 13 years, after the major accident and brain aneurism, God had changed her life. This is the first time she writes a book called Secret to Immortal Life. She wrote this book hoping to help others come back to God. She lives with her husband, Lang, but did not have any children in Cordova, Tennessee.

Choice

C HOICE IS A serious matter that will decide between life and death. It doesn’t matter who we are, what our belief is. We have to make one best choice; we can only choose now while we are still alive. After we die, we cannot do anything to change or reverse. Don’t just believe in whoever we had, but choose who the best. Do some researches and investigates about who can really save us.

I would not say that all religion out there is bad, but when I found out about God and Jesus is the only way for all people to be saved. I think the best way is for all of us to believe in God who created heaven and earth, and everything in it. I don’t want to make a mistake choosing man-made religions or other’s beliefs over God, because man-made religions or other’s beliefs cannot even save themselves. How man-make religions and other’s beliefs going to save other people? So I chose God over man-made religions and any other’s beliefs.

After I found Jesus for the first time, I cried for the world and felt hurt when seeing all the people around me walking in blindness and darkness, just liked me before. I felt the pain that God had for all of us. All of you probably don’t know me. I hid myself from everybody, friends, and family. I hardly spoke openly to any people. To tell you the truth, I don’t have any friend; all I had was schools and works. I am married, no kids, I had a four years degree in Nursing, and a stable job. However, I always felt liked there is something missing in my life that I did not know, but now I know; Jesus had changed me. I felt peace and happier with Him in my life; I went back to church and I pray for everybody. I want to share Jesus with all of you. Jesus is the door of the sheep (King James Version, John 10.7), I am the door; by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture (John 10.9). Believe in Jesus and deny ourselves is the only way we all can be immortal.

Jesus is a humble, good, and a loving God. I love everybody to come to know Him. There are no words to describe how I felt when I really know who Jesus is. God saved me and brought me to a new life and gave me new eyes. I am so happy, I felt like I am living in heaven, because heaven is here; right on this earth and in our hearts. Some of you probably think that I am crazy and I don’t know what I am talking about. What we all know is worldly matters, but what we don’t know is what beyond this earth, a place called Heaven. We all know that worldly things belong to the world. We can’t take any of these worldly materials to our graves. Jesus taught, lay not up for yourself treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steals: But lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Mat. 6.19-21). For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and his Father’s, and of the holy angels (Luke 9.24-26). So it is best to gain something that we all can take with us after we die.

Some people fear deaths, but there is nothing I am scared of, because Jesus is by my side. Jesus said, I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God (Luke 9.27). Jesus meant that some of us live to see the kingdom of heaven and never die, so even the world comes to an end; I believe that I will live forever. To me, the world never comes to an end; God promised He will give life to everybody who believes in Jesus; He will bring all of us to a new world, a Heaven on earth. I can’t wait for Jesus to come back. However, before Jesus comes back again, the devils will rise up stronger to do many evils things; they know that they don’t have much more time left before they will be destroyed. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy (John 10.10), the devils will destroy everything in their way and massively that is why there are so many tragic happenings around the world today; the devils want to crush all of us and want to bring all of us to Hell. But when Jesus come; He will destroy all of the devils and the wicked one in this world. He will create a Heaven on earth for all of us, and his kingdom there shall be no end (Luke 1.33). We are all smart people; we are all want what are best for us. Jesus said, I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly (John 10.10). God wants all of His children to have lives and to be saved from the devil’s hands. Jesus wants everybody to wake up and get ready when He comes back. We only have this one last opportunity to find life. We are the people who catching the last train, we don’t have much time left; the train will comes and will leave at any time. Please get ready to catch this train or we will be late and lost forever.

B EFORE, I THOUGHT my life will go on and on. I thought about death before, but I did not want to think about it, I pushed that thought away and think it will never come or never exist. I know nobody wants to think about deaths; it seems like all of us are thinking the same thing. What at this moment and I still alive that all is count; all I care about now is how to find a job, and how to bring foods to my tables; three meals each day. Why are you wasting your time mentioning life after death, or how to live my life? You don’t know anything, you think that you are smarter than most of people? You think that I am going to listen to you? You must be very crazy to believe that! I don’t care where I will go to after I die. Don’t bring that subject up to me and say that one day I am going to die, I don’t want to hear, and I know that, I just don’t care for it now.

I never thought any accident or tragedy happen to me. I don’t believe that, those things happen to those people who deserve it, they are bad people, you know. I am a good person, I don’t kill, and I am not hurting anybody. Yet, I lie a little bit, but it does not hurt anybody; I cheat and steal a little bit here and there, but it won’t hurt anybody, I get mad and curse out people, but I have not killed them yet. As long I am not hurting anybody; I consider myself a good person, so I don’t believe I deserve any tragic that going to lead me to deaths. I believe I will go to the heaven to the same place that you are going because you say that you are going to heaven. Have you ever been to heaven? If you have then I will believe you, but even if you did, I probably think that you just make up stuffs to get other people attention. Most of us think that there is no God, because if there is a God, why there are hungers, dying, diseases, natural disasters that happens around the world almost every single day? Where is God? Why doesn’t He doing anything? So I don’t believe there is a God, so even if He stands in front of me and saying I am God,
