About this ebook
Ben is seventeen years old, tall, athletic - and happy. His life is typical of a western middle class teenager living in a modern world. Until one evening late at night he finds he is unable to resist a compulsive impulse to wake from his deep sleep. Finally giving in he sits up in bed to discover that everything in his room is emitting soft coloured light. This is weird to be sure, but when Ben realises that he is not alone, there is someone else there, in his bedroom, Ben's life changes, and is never the same again.
After this night's amazing events finally pass. Ben is informed that there is a reason he has incarnated. He has come to earth to achieve a very important task before a dramatic change comes upon the planet. If he does not complete a personal transformation by the time the change occurs he will be spiritually lost for eons. What he has to do is extremely dangerous and could take a while to achieve. He is told he has about three days - maybe. There's not going to be enough time. He is advised to enlist the help of a school friend - Julia. A girl at school whose very presence causes Ben to fall into a seriously embarrassing, stuttering mode. How can he convince her that what is happening to him is not made up, it is real.
Stephen Tiley
In 1975 at the age of twenty three Stephen experienced a profound Spiritual awakening. The effect of this deep Self Realisation experience continued to ripple throughout the rest of his life, producing many more strange and wonderful inter-dimensional and spiritual events. For the past twenty four years Stephen has specialised in assisting people who suffer chronic back, shoulder and neck pain. The results he has gained helping people in pain, have at times, to his clients, seemed miraculous. He is a successful metaphysical counsellor and Pain Recovery Therapist. As principal of his own massage school he taught new students the skill of successful massage techniques, conducted meditation classes, taught sufferers of chronic nerve pain the art of reducing and eliminating their pain and conducted workshops in advanced massage techniques for practising Remedial Massage therapists. In the year 2005 Stephen decided to share the insights and experiences he had gained over the years since his spiritual awakening. He started writing. But regardless of repeated attempts the non fiction story kept morphing into a science fiction spiritual adventure for young adults. Realising that this was the way it was going to be he relented and a new science fiction book for teenagers heavily sprinkled with spiritual truths was born. To this day (2016) Stephen continues to astound his clients with Pain Recovery techniques that often result in their fast and complete recovery.
