About this ebook
The Adventures of Dana the wolf is about a wolf cub who goes wandering into the woods instead of going to the den where her father had sent her to. She is lost and frightened and comes across a porcupine called Steven, who promises to help her find her way back home. They meet lots of different characters on the way and face many dangers before returning home safely.

I am fifty-six years old and live with my husband and two border collies, Fen and Zac. I have three children who are now grown up. I work in a high school, with students aged between eleven and sixteen. My pen name is L. M. Todd, dedicated to my mother and father, who are sadly no longer with me. I have always loved wolves and have studied their habitat for a number of years. This is what inspired me to write a book about a wolf. I have always loved writing stories, and I have won several competitions over the years. Illustrated by: Gavin Blackwell

Tia was different from the other wolves. Her mother was killed when Tia was very young, and this left her with no one to guide her and show her the ways of the pack. Tia became very shy, timid, and vulnerable.
She was adopted into the pack, but most of the wolves did not get along with her. She was never fully accepted and had to fight to survive. She was last in line for food and was attacked when she tried to join in play.
In the pack, Zak felt sorry for Tia and tried to protect her, but her beatings were becoming worse, and she feared for her life.
The alpha male was also concerned and decided that, as Tia was now a full-grown wolf, it would be best if she left and went off to fend
