My kangaroo came back!

The tiny joey curled two little grey paws round the bottle. I marvelled as Kenda the rescue kangaroo sucked away happily at the roo milk.
‘Clever girl,’ I laughed.
Kenda was a very independent roo, for a little joey that’d had a rough start in life.
She’d been brought into my McIntyre Wildlife Shelter in May 2018, after her mother had been hit by a car. Sadly, her mum had died, but Kenda, the little battler, survived unscathed in her pouch.
