About this ebook
While expressions are usually obvious to the world, at times people suppress their deepest feelings, either deliberately or subconsciously. These expressions, although deeply hidden, can nevertheless develop into powerful emotional storms, disrupting the lives of those who hold them.
The stories of Secret Expressions describe characters who have suppressed their expressions and are suffering the consequences. In Mind, Body and Soul, a woman obsessed with an Indian television star gets the chance to meet her idol and get to know himbut the secret he hides may tear them apart, and reality offers a sharp contrast to the glamour of the onscreen world. In Hidden Inspiration, an otherwise successful young man deals with emotional attacks that often leave him helpless. But when he decides to raise his voice against a shocking rural tradition in order to save a young girls life, he finds a well of inspiration and strength that he never expected.
In this pair of short stories, characters who have hidden the most intense expressions of themselves deep within, deal with the consequences of the emotional storms that emerge from their secrets.

(STORY #1)
CHAPTER 1
V anyaa did not even know him until a few months before, when she first saw him on a television play and completely fell for his charismatic looks, majestic screen presence and of course his amazing acting skills!
Vanyaa was a happy go lucky single lady, in her mid-thirties, who took life as it came to her, yet she was experimental to some extent. Anything beautiful in this world fascinated her. She was creative and had several hobbies, but everything depended on her mood. She got bored very easily. She loved to watch good movies, which motivated her, and inspired her. She did not watch much television. TV for her was mainly to catch up with the news, sports and a few selected programmes. Hundreds of channels mostly telecasted daily soaps which were not Vanyaa’s cup of tea. She was never interested in those daily dramas, as she found them completely unreal, far from life and unnecessarily dragging. Hence, she mostly spent her leisure times reading or listening to music or doing something which made her happy.
It was a Monday, seven thirty in the morning. Vanyaa’s mobile rang. She answered. It was her
