    Dedication

This book is dedicated to the honour and glory of God,

who loves us so much that He gave His son, Jesus Christ,

who willingly gave His life to save the entire human

race for which I am extremely grateful.

To some special people who have positively

    impacted my life:

In loving memory of my deceased parents and two

brothers: De Costa and Dorothy Bhola, Reno and

Terry Bhola. Mrs. Utilda La Mothe (deceased)

    affectionately known as Granny.

With love to my wonderful husband, David R. Sinclair

and our loving children Zavena and Zavid Sinclair.

My sisters and brothers: Gemma, Inskip

Zoila, Zobida, Nadia, Higgs and Wendell

Their children! my wonderful nieces and nephews.

    Some special families and friends:

    The Bhola and Sinclair Families

    Olive Sinclair, Adinah Bhola

    Ramesh & Preeti Maslanami

    Foreword

In my daily interactions with people throughout my life,

together with all the positive and negative events that

have occured, the lessons and values I have learnt and

continue to learn, my own personal experiences and those

shared by others together with what I have read or heard

about locally and globally, created a burning desire in me

to add a voice of hope and advocacy.

The outcry of many for a deeper purpose and

meaning to life, have convinced me that no matter who we are:

our race, colour, religion, status or nationality etc., we are

all affected by internal and external struggles, issues, and

events that challenge the core of our values, morals and

beliefs. Issues that can hurt, disappoint or make us jump

for joy, from which we can learn values and develop

character traits that can make us stronger, better and

hopeful. There are times in our lives when we can celebrate

and be thankful for the positive events and growth

and other times we need healing from negative emotions.

We need forgiveness , peace, courage, strength, resilience and hope

that can only come from hearts, minds,

    thoughts and behaviours, that are
