As you read this literary piece and other works presented by Claudia, the significance of her job title will become abundantly clear. Claudia’s personal life has been one of ordinary, if not mundane circumstances. She grew up in a small town, attended university where she attained two degrees, and then spent three decades working as a psychotherapist. W elcome, Dear Readers, to a place in time, which is just the right place and exactly the right time for you to become acquainted with a story of remarkable beginnings.

Your arrival is serendipitous, for the story, which actually began a very long time ago, is about to begin. In truth, it began longer ago than either of us can envision, and yet oddly enough, both you and I were there when the original events began, so it is fortuitous that we are both here now as this tale is about to unfold.

As is true of all books, this book was written with a purpose. Conceived during a period of time before you came into being, it was developed as a gift that was to be presented at another time when you were of an age and reason to accept it. This book, Dear Reader, was written specifically for you. If you wonder how this is possible then take time for a round of personal applause, for your faculties are functioning well. How indeed? Compound your own questions by those of all the other Readers who are also puzzling over a book that purports to be explicitly written for them. How can this be? How can one book be personally written for every reader it encounters? Why would such an endeavor be attempted? And perhaps the most curious question of all is the identity of the author. Who initiated this effort? The answers to these questions will become self-evident as the relationship between you and the story develops. This is not an ordinary reading experience; it is one that involves your heart, your soul, all that you are, and all that you ever wanted to be. In truth, it is an adventure encompassing those infinite unknowns about which you wonder, dream, and desire to understand. And it is more, so much more than you ever imagined possible.

Indeed, The Time When Time No Longer Matters was written purposefully and intentionally, and now, while time still matters, it must reach the Readers for whom it was created. Before time came into existence and before you were even aware of your existence, your presence was so deeply cherished and loved that a gift of incredible foresight and magnitude was devised on your behalf. Ponder this Dear Reader, for it is a humbling concept to behold.

Inconceivable as it may seem, the time is coming when time will neither matter nor be regarded as a defining factor of relevance; nevertheless, until that time arrives, the only time that is of significance is the present moment. Although many residing in your time spend excessive amounts of time mesmerized by the future, as others engage in similar expenditures lingering in the past, the truth about time is this. The present is and will always be the time that necessitates one’s attention. As time moves forward, or perhaps better stated, as time returns to the way it was before it came into existence, the ability to exist in the present moment will be imperative, because in essence, there will be no past or future in which to dwell. The only time that will be available in the future that is coming will be the present.

Dear Readers, if this introduction to The Time When Time No Longer Matters seems perplexing, rest assured that it is, for time, throughout all its existence has always been intriguingly mysterious. In its brilliant ways of coming and going, time provided its witnesses with a means of constructing what was perceived as a sense of order, but at the same time, attentive observers captivated by time’s antics became so obsessed with time that they attempted in vain to commingle with the past, present, and future simultaneously. Ironically, these watchers of time were seeking an unknown truth yet to be revealed to them. In actuality, they were striving to achieve that which was their destiny, for you see the true beauty of time is that it does not exist, and when this is fully understood then everyone will be able to exist in all times at all times, eliminating the need for attachments to any specific time.

Before time came into existence, there was no reason to mark time, and then time’s unexpected arrival revealed a new aspect of existence never before experienced. Indeed time served existence well and its delightful presence was enjoyed by inestimable numbers, but now the time has come for time to move on and the beneficiaries of time’s coming’s and going’s must move along as well.

As time passes by for the last time, a new way of being will become available to all in existence. In truth, this new way of being will not be new at all, but will instead be a return to the old way of being that existed before time so conspicuously entered into existence. Existing with time has been a momentous experience for all who enjoyed the privilege of co-existing with this astonishing companion, and inevitably, time’s forthcoming absence will be as noteworthy as when this Old Friend appeared into existence for the first time; however, over time, the memory of time will fade, as time itself exits from existence.

For those who only remember functioning in conjunction with the presence of time, you will find this shift filled with many new opportunities, so many in fact that it will be breathtaking, which is a word intentionally chosen because it is an accurate description of what will transpire in the very near future. The Time When Time No Longer Matters was prepared for this moment in time. It is presented as a primer to assist you, Dear Reader, in navigating the future, which of course, will actually be the present. Catch your breath as you read this…the future that is coming is the present.

With the absence of time, all in existence will be charged with the task of functioning in the present. There will be no future to fantasize about or a past to escape to…only the present will be the available existence in which to exist. As confusing as this may sound, it is a reality that already exists and one with which you have coexisted since entering into existence. The Time When Time No Longer Matters serves as a bridge among those existing with time as a primary influence in their existence with those who long, long ago chose to exist without the influence of time. Time’s presence and her remarkable contributions to all she encountered bring us to this present moment in time.

Dear Readers, you are not alone and the time has arrived for you to learn more about the companions with whom you share existence. Time opened the door for this possibility and now humankind reaches a state of maturity that prepares you to meet all the Other Kind with whom you share this Great Existence. The Time When Time No Longer Matters is a fictional story, but it is founded in truth and purposefully prepared to facilitate a reunion of All Kind existing throughout existence, so that Each Kind will have the special privilege of experiencing the Others’ company. The time has come for Humankind to meet Other Kind and for All Kind to gather as Brothers and Sisters of the Universe.

Through the means of this literary experience, you, Dear Reader, are invited to the most exceptional gathering ever held. You are an honored guest. Please join this extraordinary experience and discover not only who you are, but also the identities of your siblings who live in various locations throughout the entire world. "Once upon a time, there was a book prepared by those of unknown origins, and this book was intended to assist the people of a planet in a faraway distant galaxy. The book, written on behalf of these people, was done with their best interests as the highest concern of the authors of the mysterious text. So long ago was the book written that none of today will recognize its beginnings or understand its purposeful intentions; however, the book was indeed prepared for those of today and it was intended to assist those for whom it was written.

Once upon a time, a book was written for a people in need of assistance by those desiring to be of assistance, but the book could only be of assistance if those in need accepted the book as the gift it was intended to be.

Once upon a time, a story needed to be told, and for those of curious nature, the story begins this day about a day long, long ago."

The day is coming Dear Reader when an eruption of restlessness will rise up from the depths of your innermost being and demand your attention. When this day arrives, welcome it with open arms and celebration, for it is a moment in time that initiates the beginning of great change. Although emotions that frequently accompany restlessness such as frustration, impatience, agitation, and dissatisfaction, to name just a few, may attempt to interrupt your celebratory efforts, experience suggests that acceptance of this discomforting state is a decision based in wisdom. Those who choose to resist or engage antagonistically with their wellspring of frustration rarely, if ever, bring it to a rapid conclusion, but instead typically arouse greater impatience that results in a deepening dissatisfaction with their situation. By embracing one’s restless nature and openly inviting it to reveal its secrets, prolonged agitation can be avoided allowing discoveries to be made regarding the mysterious underlying reasons that birthed the unrest. Utilizing a compassionate, accepting approach to incidents of restlessness can quiet one’s own reactions to its arrival, and overtime, as one gains greater understanding of its role as a signal for forthcoming events of importance, the presence of restlessness will be more graciously received. Eventually these experiences will no longer be dreaded, but instead will be recognized and appreciated, as opportunities for expansion and their contributions will be perceived equally to those events that are heralded as significant moments in time. Perhaps, you wonder Dear Reader, why your story begins with a discussion about restlessness. Time will reveal this to you.

(Chapter One)

"Long, long ago an ancient traveler in search of new experiences traveled deep into the outer limits of his present awareness. His heart filled with curiosity and anticipation, he proceeded in hopes of new adventures that would propel his journey ever forward in his ongoing, never-ending quest to learn all that was available about all that is. For so long had he sought the existence of others such as himself that his journey no longer had a beginning or an ending. He existed as he was and always had been and he continued in existence, as he would always be.

His experience thus far was everlasting and his desire for more awareness appeared self-perpetuating yet the quest begun so long ago seemed today as it did before. Though this was as it was, apparently the ancient traveler desired more understanding of this present way of being, and thus, he sought elsewhere to discover why his existence was the way it was.

Once upon a time long, long ago, a solo existence wondered about all other existence, and thus began, the ongoing curiosity that propelled the never-ending search to discover all that was about all existence. When this began is no longer remembered, but that it transpired is pondered to this day, and all who followed the original seeker wonder of all that was, all that is, and all that is yet to come.

Once upon a time, existence spawned curiosity, and henceforth, evolved an existence filled with those of curious nature seeking all there is to know about all that is."

Once upon a time…indeed! Very curious is this tale thus far and rather confounding. Is it a story of olden times or a story of today or is it a story of the future? Exactly what is this story that proclaims to be your life story, and why is it being told anyway?

Dear Reader, this is, as purported, your life story and it is being told at this particular time in this particular way because it must. Unusual as the beginning of this story may seem, it does in truth begin quite similarly to your own original beginning. How you began, when, and where is a mystery. So too is it true for the origination of this book. This story that is intended for you is also intended for the one who brings it forward, for you see, the presenter of your life story is also presenting her own life story, and as you read these words for the first time, your reactions may be quite similar to hers when she initially received what is written. The Time When Time No Longer Matters is a book of mystery. Its origins are a mystery, its content is a mystery, and its proclaimed purpose of providing aid to every reader encountered is also a mystery. So much mystery, and if what the introduction of this book tells us is true, so little time. If indeed, a time is coming when time no longer matters, then time, as we now know it, is of the essence.

The story conveyed, your story, is a collaborative effort made on behalf of all those for whom it is intended. All who participate in reading this book will come to understand his or her specific relationship with this unusual story and also grasp a broader underlying sense of purpose that pertains not only to each individual reader, but which also involves all of humankind. As these words are read, Dear Reader, an awakening of an unremembered memory is triggered within. Whether you are aware of this at this moment in time or not, it is happening. For some of you, this awakening may be newly forming, while for others, the process already in motion, will advance forward as a result of encountering this literary piece; however, regardless of your position on the spectrum of awakening, let it be known, that you are indeed being called to help humankind. Breathe this in Dear Reader, and allow the magnitude of this pronouncement to settle quietly within. Even for those who are familiar with the concept of a calling, this declaration gives one pause, which will hopefully be reassuring to those who still are unfamiliar with the concept. In actuality, very few have heard a calling and fewer still are even aware of such an idea, but at this point in time, the calling has announced itself through this story. How it will actually come to fruition is another mystery to be embraced, but simply stated, over time, the awakening process will continue to awaken and the reality of your specific role in the process will become blatantly evident. Because time continues to be a relevant factor at this point in time, remaining open to the unfolding summons beckoning from within you is extremely critical. If this suggestion sounds confusing, please feel comforted in knowing that your perception is correct. While waiting for a mysterious calling to transpire is undeniably odd, particularly when it is a concept that is unfamiliar to you, in actuality, whether you are cognizant of the idea of a calling or not, it is a baffling situation. And, as if mystery and confusion are not enough, other distracting factors will also come into play and feature significantly throughout the awakening experience. You are reminded of this potential at this particular time, for it is a reality that simply is.

In light of this reality, perhaps, now is an appropriate time to address a powerful factor of distraction that will inevitably be encountered. Because Dear Reader, you are a child of a civilization ravaged by competition, the competitive spirit in which you were reared will instinctively enter into your awakening process just as it does in every other aspect of your life. Although some may argue that competitiveness, when appropriately monitored and managed, may have a place in the development of self-awareness, wisdom strongly advises against participating in competitive behaviors during the process of awakening for it is an effort in futility that distracts you from the deep, inward work that demands attention and serves only to delay your own progress. A persistent and commanding force, competition grows in its distractibility when combined with the seemingly insatiable, but misguided need to compare oneself to others, which is deeply regrettable because each calling is so uniquely individual that these behaviors are neither warranted nor helpful.

An invitation to review your personal mannerisms concerning competition is extended and strongly encouraged. If you accept this invitation, please address the opportunity with a loving, compassionate heart so that beneficial assessments and adjustments can be made effectively. Because the energy surrounding this behavior is often remarkably stressful, it is wise to take precautions when in its presence. Even well intended discussions about one’s competitive manner can be challenging due to the extremely fragile nature of this frequently misunderstood behavior. Rooted in deep fear related to one’s own real and presumed personal failings and tormented by conceptions and misconceptions of others’ successes, the competitive mind is easily agitated. Once riled, the offended mind often responds with a willful defensiveness that actually fuels its fears and prolongs its reactive behavior. Although few individuals identify themselves as competitive and fewer still understand the dynamics of their competitiveness, the activity is indeed so commonplace and widespread that it is not even recognized or perceived as problematic, which serves only to magnify its negative ramifications.

The reminder earlier offered regarding distractions that will invariably chaperone your process of awakening bears repeating. Simply stated, refraining from distractive influences is prudent. Regardless of the source of distraction, whether it is based in competition or some other diversion, avoid the temptation and stay on task. Proceed, if you will, as you are called to do, and if you experience a moment of uncertainty about your heading, just pause. Breathe into the uneasiness, steer clear of distractions that may arise, and patiently wait for clarity to come. While this advice is sound Dear Reader, please note that well intended guidance is sometimes complicated and not always easily achieved in the immediacy; however, over time, patience, perseverance, and self-compassion facilitate the desired goal.

If once again you wonder why your illustrious story begins with topics of such tedious nature, the response is the same as before…time will reveal this to you. Be patient Dear Reader, much more is coming.

(Chapter Two)

When the time came for the ancient traveler to begin his journey anew, many alternatives awaited his review. Though his travels were far reaching and his experiences were extensive, what lay ahead was more than could be imagined, yet he did wonder of all that remained to be seen, and his curiosity grew with hopeful anticipation, as he pursued his next adventure. For so long had the ancient traveler existed in this way that he no longer remembered when his existence as a traveler began; however, as his existence continued, he came to accept that existence was ongoing, and for this never-ending existence, he was eternally grateful.

Imagine a time, if you will, when you originally embarked upon this journey described as a lifetime. Present were friends of long standing offering words of wisdom about the adventures that lay ahead, and as each bid you farewell, kindnesses and well wishes were issued, reminders if you will, that were intentionally articulated for the purpose of triggering remembrances while you were faraway. Words of a precise quality and resonance were chosen capable of generating heartfelt responses to an unknown connection during the span of the journey, regardless of how long you traveled or what distances you explored.

(Chapter Two)

"When his existence began, he often wondered, and where his existence was leading, he also often pondered, resulting in a continuously developing desire to know all that exists in all existence.

Of the ancient beginnings, the ancient traveler’s insatiable curiosity passed from one traveler to another, and eventually, all those in existence pursued existence with extreme wonderment of all that was, all that is, and all that is to come, and thus begins the beginning of our story, but much, much more remains to be told."

In anticipation of this moment in time, as it specifically relates to this literary event, preparations were made on your behalf as were appropriate for any such significant event. Being able to recognize a reminder from the past unfolding in the present actually intensifies the gift’s influence, for witnessing these precious moments of sweet beauty creates a lasting impression that inspires a deepening desire to experience more of these curious events. These reminders, messages from the past, are truly essential elements of the awakening process that propel the recipient ever forward in their opening process. While observing these unfolding gifts is an indescribable privilege, learning how to be consciously present to their arrival is an acquired skill that can be developed with a modicum of effort.

As we speak of these reminders from long ago, please take notice that a message is being delivered to you now through this discussion. Allow yourself to accept that these messages, which are presented in the most delightful ways at the most exquisite moments really do exist and they are specifically addressed to you. Accepting this reality enhances your ability to be fully present and attentive to their arrivals. Dear Reader, you are gently reminded that messages from the past are at your disposal and are presented to you here in the present for a reason.

(Chapter Three)

"Once upon a time, a story waiting to be told came to the ears of one who was keenly listening and this listener was amazed when the first whisper was heard.

I am here for a reason, the whisper said, but to the listener’s surprise, no one else was present.

Who said that? thought the listener, but no response came to this questioning notion, and thus, the listener continued with the day. Time passed, as is its way, and the remembrance of the whisper dimmed while other activities came to the forefront of the listener’s attention.

I am here for a reason, the whisperer repeated and waited to see if the message would be heard.

Once upon a time, a whisper was heard, but soon the whisper was forgotten, but the whisperer of the whisper did not forget the whisper or its intentions and the whisperer waited quietly for the next opportunity to whisper the next whisper."

Realistically speaking Dear Reader, life is constantly happening and when one engages with a period of expansion such as the awakening process, life does not stop for the occasion. No indeed, life, and all it entails, invariably marches on regardless of the exceptionally poignant moment being experienced. Accepting that these periods will naturally be interrupted by life circumstances may ease your encounters with these extraordinary events. History will reveal that ecstatic leaps of growth are often joined by static moments of restlessness, while challenges with distractive behaviors are counterbalanced by periods of extreme focus and clarity. And please, let us not forget those bouts with disillusionment that are offset by experiences of joy, delight, and optimistic hopefulness. Regardless of when, how, where, or why these experiences appear, recognizing and accepting that each is dynamically important to one’s cycle of development facilitates easier movement throughout the various transitional moments during the awakening process.

Ironically, as one proceeds along his or her chosen evolutionary path, there will come a time when one is unclear if life is interrupting the awakening process or if the awakening process is disrupting the life process. In essence, each is influencing the other and both are the same. Life is…life is ever awakening…and life continues.

(Chapter Four)

Once upon a time, an ancient traveler traveled far in search of other existence, and of his travels, only this was remembered. What once was, was not before and what came to be was there thereafter.

Emily, where is the book that I was reading? came a voice from behind a closed door. It was right here…I’m certain of it, the one-sided conversation continued as he looked about the room for the missing book. Shuffling the morning newspapers resulted in no surprises nor did his favorite reading chair reveal any secret activities. Long noted for stealing objects of great importance, the crevasses worn and dusty from many years of satisfying use offered nothing. No change, no deposit slips, no chips, no peanuts, and no book! John found these episodes quite frustrating. He clearly remembered placing the book face down on the end table before going to bed the night before.

Standing still, John took a deep breath. The room seemed to fall silent in anticipation of his change of posture. John’s scurrying about came to an immediate halt as the first deliberate breath extended into several more intentional efforts of managing his racing anxiety. There is no reason to get out of sorts about this. It must be here! Just quiet down, and allow the memory to surface.

John was a man of many gifts, including keen intelligence that was complemented by a deeply compassionate nature, both of which he attributed to his dear Mother who was long ago deceased. He was also charming, sophisticated, and blessed with a delightful sense of humor, and believe it or not, John had a memory that was so brilliant, it had enabled him to be an extremely successful academic and professional. Over the years, he had grown to trust his innate abilities, and in truth, took them for granted, thus times such as these were remarkably irritating for him.
