    "Mary The Mother Of Jesus,

    Walk Tall

    GOD’S MASTERPIECE

    The creation of a ‘MOTHER’, is God’s great masterpiece.

    The function that she covers will never, ever cease.

    Way early in the morning before the sun does rise,

    She’s in the kitchen baking some muffins, bread and pies.

    It’s peaceful at that time of morning as the birds begin to sing,

    She has time to spend with Jesus as the baking starts to bring.

    The smells that fill the house up as the coffee starts to perk.

    She knows that soon her husband will be up and off to work.

    The children God has given her are precious as can be,

    She thanks the Lord in Heaven for the chance to teach the three;

    Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the great ‘Three In One’,

    The greatest lesson of all time is to teach them of God’s Son.

    Jesus’ Mother was well honored above all earthly Moms,

    And we thank God for Mary who gave birth to the sinless Son.

    Mary kept the salutations and pondered in her heart,

    Just what the Angels meant when they told her from the start;

    The baby to be born of you even though you knew not man,

    Is conceived from the Holy Ghost and is part of God’s great plan.

    He will grow up in your home and become a great young man,

    The day will approach you when you think you just can’t stand.

    The thought of His leaving home to do his Father’s will,

    Will cause you greater sorrow and cause the tears to spill.

    But that isn’t the half of it, as things begin to dawn,

    Your son will give up his young life so that you too can belong.

    To God’s Heavenly Family from friends around the world,

    Who give their lives to Jesus when the Word of God’s unfurled.

    What a beautiful family that God is rearing up,

    Especially when God’s dear children sit at His table and sup.

    Mothers, Mothers, Mothers are so fortunate to have,

    A time to spend with children to lead them in the paths,

    Telling to them God’s love and the perfect plan for them,

    As they grow up in your household and become Gods little gems.

    Mothers are so beautiful of beauty from within,

    When God is allowed to touch them and save them from their sin,

    Mothers are so loving to all of their offspring,

    That you know God did the choosing to have the Mothers bring;

    The children into this world so full of wickedness,

    God knew that He could trust them though this world’s in a mess.

    God specializes when things are going wrong,

    You can always count on Jesus when you put Him on the Throne.

    So Mothers you are beautiful for the children you did bring,

    Are going to be Mothers too, when the men put on the ring.

    Then Grandchildren too come along to bless your very soul,

    They too will grow up big and to bless them will be your goal.

    Mothers and Grandmothers are what make the world go round,

    When Mothers have Jesus in their heart their happiness abounds.

    Living for Jesus is where happiness is found.

    Dear Mother look to Jesus and your life will then be crowned.

    Pastor Bob Ruegsegger Sr.

    WALKING WITH JESUS

    Walking with Jesus is what matters most in this life,

    Walking with Jesus takes away all of the strife.

    Walking with Jesus brings joy to the heart.

    Walking with Jesus gives a great start.

    To serve our great Master clear to the end,

    With the joy that is given when our hearts tend to blend,

    With the souls of the others who have gone on ahead,

    Waiting for us to give out the Bread.

    Bread from above that is long lasting to us.

    Bread from the Master He put in our trust.

    To cast upon waters for others to be given,

    The long lasting Bread that will take us to Heaven.

    Bread from above oh how sweet to the taste,

    Bread from the Maker please let us not waste,

    This precious of foods, that needs to be given,

    To others who hunger for Peace, Life and Heaven,

    Don’t waste a minute with frivolous thought,

    Think of the cost the Master hath wrought.

    The price that was paid our Redemption to win,

    Give Him all the Glory for He has saved us from sin.

    Take all your talents and give back to our God,

    Serve Him with gladness no matter the rod.

    He will sometime use to steer our life right,

    To bring glory to Him in the darkest of night.

    Trust in Him completely, in the flesh you will fail,

    He’ll not let you down he will light up your trail.

    He’s only promised food for the day,

    Light for the step as you go on your way.

    Not knowing just what the future will bring,

    Knowing Him first gives you comfort to sing,

    With the music He teaches that never goes wrong,

    Knowing that His tempo will keep you very strong.

    Trusting in Jesus is what matters the most,

    Faith to believe that He is our host.

    To the beautiful future when we’re willing to boast,

    What Jesus has done as we speak coast to coast.

    No matter where in this world He would have us to go;

    It matters not for He wants us to show;

    The love of God to all that we meet;

    For in doing so some may just bow at His feet.

    There is nothing more important than living for the Lord;

    As this world offers nothing where He can be adored.

    So leaving the love of this world and serve Him the more;

    Casting your burdens upon Him as He then opens the door.

    The door to serve Him with a pure, Spirit filled life;

    For then living for Him we will end all of our strife.

    So let not the world interfere with your task at hand;

    But live for the Master until you end up in His land.

    Our lives do not consist of the things we possess,

    But living for Jesus is when we’re most blessed.

    Serving in love for what He has done,

    Waiting to hear Him say to us, WELL DONE!

    Pastor Bob Ruegsegger Sr.

    GOD’S ‘VALENTINE’

    Will you be My ‘Valentine’? Saith the Father from above.

    Give Me your heart unconditionally, with all of your love.

    You need not try to clean up your life for Me to be pleased.

    Just give Me your life I’ll give you a hug and a squeeze.

    I laid down My life for you with a heart full of love.

    I long for you to do the same as I wait up here above.

    To be My ‘Valentine’ is to be filled up with My love;

    Then to others you will show contentment like a dove.

    My child, you can trust Me, for I’ll never let you down;

    Then when life is over you’ll be happy that you found;

    Life has just begun, that the trials are now all past,

    And living down there on the earth went really by too fast.

    Take time now; pause, think, a ‘Valentine’ you could be,

    Give a life that’s true to God would make you, oh, so free.

    Yes, free from strife and turmoil that fills so many lives;

    Yes, free to do the will of God and at the end to rise.

    Yes, rise up to meet Him who loves you oh so much.

    Yes, rise up to meet Him who gave you His heart to touch.

    Oh, He’s the greatest Valentine the world has ever known.

    He laid down His life for you so God could then atone;

    Wash you in His precious blood and cleanse you from your sin,

    Peace and victory give you as you give your heart to Him.

    Victory over trials when you’ve tried, and tried, but failed.

    Yes, time and time again, until you just could not prevail.

    But now you can meet the test as His Spirit controls you within;

    To guide you through to victory and bring you close to Him.

    The Peace He gives to you, the world cannot understand;

    To be so victorious in Him for God has given you His hand.

    To take His child and guide him through these worldly woes,

    For God has opened up His heart and only His child knows;

    How wonderful it is, to enjoy His wonderful Love and Peace,

    The Grace of God to you, His child, has truly been released.

    The world is looking for a ‘Valentine’ of pure Love and Peace;

    Only through our lives will He upon the world release.

    God is looking for ‘Valentines’ their cups to overflow,

    And spill out on to others, God’s Love and Joy to show.

    The world is looking for Peace and know not where to find;

    They know not the Father that would bring to them His kind;

    Of Peace, and Joy, and Love, that only our God can give,

    For He created this man and knows how they should live.

    The world is sending up rockets to all of outer space.

    Trying to find the origin of this man and beast and race.

    How foolish it all seems to God, for He put it in His Word,

    That man was created by God, have they not really heard?

    Yes, God is looking for ‘Valentines’ to usher out His Word.

    The Truth sent forth abroad so they will all have heard.

    And He can use you, a ‘Valentine’ of Peace, Love and Joy.

    To let your Light so shine and yes you are deployed.

    Let your Light burn brightly in the darkest of the night,

    And be filled with His Spirit and you will win the fight.

    God’s children are ‘Valentines’ that spread about His Love;

    Won’t you volunteer your services for our Father up above?

    He’s looking for that one who’ll spread His love around;

    To those in need, won’t you speed, Love that you have found?

    Don’t be hoarding all God’s love by keeping it all to yourself;

    For He died for all mankind and wants to give them His wealth.

    Their soul is sick and full of sin, lost and so undone,

    They’re headed for a God-less life and headed on the run.

    We need to redirect them, from their wide and broad road;

    That leads to their destruction, with their heavy, heavy load.

    There is enough of God’s love to go around the world.

    But we, as His ‘Valentines’ need His love to be unfurled.

    They will be so grateful that you took the time to tell;

    That Jesus paid the entire price, they need not go to hell.

    God is looking for some ‘Valentines’ to carry out His love.

    So volunteer dear ‘Valentine’ for the Master up above.

    You’ll not be disappointed when volunteering for our Lord;

    In heaven you’ll not be forgotten, He’ll hand you your reward.

    Pastor Bob Ruegsegger Sr.

    RELIGION

    Religion’s a way that many will earnestly heed;

    With all of their wonderful works and deeds.

    But that’s not the way as I go on to say,

    That is man’s religious ways as of today;

    That we must do all of our work and be heard,

    And that is man’s way but in God’s sight is absurd;

    So listen a spell and learn what God tells;

    In His precious omnipotent Word; this to us yells.

    Martha was one who could bake perfect buns,

    Concerned for the belly she would work till she was done.

    But would fret as Mary didn’t help with the buns.

    Especially when Mary just sat with God’s Son.

    She could take it no longer and cried out in despair,

    "Look Jesus, what Mary is doing is not fair!

    You’ve got to be fed and Mary just sits in that chair!

    Don’t you understand Jesus? This is not fair!

    Please bid her ado and make her help you,

    For I’m all tied up in this stew.

    The work will not take long if you bid her ado,

    And then we could both sit down with you!"

    With very sad eyes Jesus starts with a sigh;

    And begins with the Truth not a lie.

    "Dear Martha, Dear Martha, you labor too much;

    With you’re fixing of this lunch with your touch.

    Please come sit with the Son and hear the good news,

    And I’ll make your life over if only you choose.

    What Mary has chosen and the Words I have spoken;

    Is far more lasting than the stew that you’ve broken.

    You would be far better off just sitting with Me.

    Listening to parables and letting you anger go free.

    Fret not for tomorrow and yesterday’s gone,

    And sitting down with God’s Son is good and not wrong."

    Salvation is free the great price it was paid;

    On Calvary’s rugged tree our sins were all laid.

    No more can we do to merit God’s Love,

    But leave it with Jesus, Who came down from above.

    He paid the full price our redemption to secure;

    To try now to help Him is disgusting and impure.

    Only He, the price could pay, it was His sinless life that lay,

    On the cross there till death He would just stay.

    Not wanting His own selfish will;

    But His desire was His Fathers still.

    Now that the price was fully paid,

    Jesus’ pure life could not be stayed.

    In the tomb so dark and drab,

    Jesus came forth our victories been had.

    The devils power has broken, his head has been crushed,

    He no longer deceives me, for ‘IN GOD’ is my trust!

    It is finished He cried, as He died on the cross,

    Why should we think we could add to His cost?

    It is finished! It is finished! No more can you do;

    To merit salvation, to help God save you.

    The plan is complete and our God did it all;

    No help from His children, on us did He call.

    The judgment of death for sin must be paid.

    And Jesus, our death, upon Him it was laid.

    Not that He wanted God’s back on Him turned,

    But a Holy just God through His Son, He must spurn.

    The ultimate price of a Supreme sacrifice;

    Was what’s needed for God to redeem at that price;

    Mankind from his sin and God enter in;

    And to cleanse us and take us to Him.

    And so my dear friend, as you strive to come in;

    It’s on Him you must fully depend.

    For His glory to share you would then have to bear;

    Your own sins on the cross in despair.

    So wake up to the fact that in God’s price there’s no lack;

    Or a need to redeem yourself from the sin on your back;

    For God paid the debt, Jesus death He did set;

    And now to mankind there’s no worry or fret.

    So praise God for it all, He chose Jesus to fall;

    Neath the load of the worlds grossest gall.

    So on His Name you must call and confess your sin all,

    And eternal life our God will install.

    Grace He provides, as you trust in His cleansing blood.

    He’ll make you all new and that from the old mire and mud.

    He’ll proclaim you’re a Saint though you’re sure that you ain’t;

    But the facts in God’s Word so don’t faint.

    You work like a dog, as you log hours of service for Him.

    Not for salvation but of relation, He’ll fill you to the brim.

    His blessings flow to the soul as the Spirit has taken control.

    Let Him guide your ship, as He adds your name to His scroll;

    So give Him control of your heart and your soul,

    And your life will be victorious and whole.

    ’Tis a wonderful way to enjoy a great day,

    When God’s Spirit does fully have sway.

    Thoughts of the mind are ways in which Satan takes hold.

    He cares not for you, a broken down form that’s not told.

    In His grace you’ll abide, grace that is greater than all,

    Even though your soul in Adam in the beginning did fall.

    So friend, I’m nearing the end, I beg you to listen and call,

    Upon Jesus who wants a free gift for you to install.

    For ’twas Jesus who stayed on the cross to redeem from sin,

    Accepting Him now your salvation’s secured within.

    Held by His hand so you can stand against all woe.

    So keep in His sight and our God will defeat every foe.

    Perfection that God wants for you, think not you can do.

    For you are as clay in the makers hand He formed you.

    The battles not over and turning your back will not do.

    Give Him your mind and soul, perfection He will form you.

    Then He can use you as a willing tool;

    He’ll turn the world around as people yield to his rule.

    They’ll be happy that they did as His Peace dwells within,

    And the things of this world will fall off and as they grow dim;

    A new life will start up as the old desires fade away;

    For Jesus fills your heart with new desires that stay.

    And there are the ones that give you the peace that are within;

    As your doing the will of the Master, your old life grows dim.

    What a peace that He gives you, the world cannot grasp;

    Why you’re now different from the others, they want to ask.

    What has happened to you? Where is your peace from?

    Please let me know; because I sure do want some.

    VICTORY

    It’s really great to be victorious, and live above the clouds;

    But you should just remember that the other team was bowed.

    Not so when victory with Jesus, when you’ve fought a great fight,

    So keep on winning the battles for it brings Him the greatest delight.

    The devil has no morals and cares not for your life,

    So keep on winning my brother and you’ll keep him in strife.

    The devil loves to trick God’s children and keep them in despair;

    But keeping on with Jesus, God will keep you in His care.

    The battle twill soon be over, the victory will have been won.

    The devil will have been beaten; our Father will lift up his Son.

    Those who refuse to yield now, to God’s omnipotent Son.

    Will sooner or later be forced too, on their bent knee to be done.

    So child of God don’t be weary, the battle has just begun,

    God’s grace and mercy endureth, so give praise to His glorious Son.

    The devil may win a few scourges; he may even cause us to run,

    But his ultimate doom is forecasted to the delight of God’s Dear Son.

    The cross we are expected to carry and even the heavy load,

    Becomes very precious cargo when of Jesus love they are told.

    When others receive their victory because of the stand that you took;

    Will praise you and the Father; as you showed them God’s Holy Book.

    Then they too will want to win others, to have their sins forgiven,

    And be headed for a glorious reunion up there in His beautiful Heaven.

    They want their loved ones to go up, not down into that ugly pit;

    So let’s all do our very best to win them to Him and never, never quit.

    Many are within a step of that ugly eternal pit,

    And you will weep your eyes out at the judgment, for you quit.

    They will cry for mercy but it will then be too late;

    As they fall into that lake of fire which is their eternal fate.

    Don’t let that happen to your loved ones!

    IMAGINE THE THOUGHTS OF THIS MOTHER

    Ever since the announcement the angel gave to Mary,

    She pondered in her heart and her thoughts became quite wary.

    How could such a thing as this happen to such a one as I?

    And then to think that this dear child has really come to die!

    How can I explain this to Joseph? What will he really think?

    He thought he was marrying a virgin. His heart will really sink.

    How can I convince him? How can I make him believe?

    That I am still his little virgin for him to gladly receive.

    Oh God, I cannot face him, for him to believe that I’ve sinned,

    For him to believe that I broke my vows, become unfaithful to him.

    No mortal man can believe such a tale that I’m about to tell,

    Oh God, I need help to break the news. Please don’t let him yell.

    Oh dear child,

    I’ve taken care of the matter please calm your heart and your soul.

    As I told you of what I am doing, I’ve also told Joseph his roll.

    Thank you God for letting me know I’ll obey your every command;

    I’ll do my best to care for this child. Lead me by your hand.

    This is all new to me my God, I haven’t even known any man,

    So my God I’ve got much to learn. Please help me to understand.

    I will my child, I’ll lead along through paths you have not known,

    I’ll keep you safe, for this child needs a home, till He is grown.

    I can’t believe that the Lord chose me to do His wonderful will,

    Oh God, may I this child alive in this womb your will to fulfill.

    God’s great desire to save mankind had to do what needs be done,

    To bring into this world His Son; through death, mankind be won.

    And so God, I’m yours to command to do what you know is best.

    Help me to love this child of yours, I know that I’m fully blest.

    To think that God’s Son is now growing within;

    And when He’s grown, will save those who trust Him from their sin.

    Nine months have now passed and I’m due to deliver,

    This child of God, the prince of all givers.

    But no, to Bethlehem we must now go;

    But please, my Dear Joseph, we must go quite slow.

    We arrive at the town to where we must go,

    But the town is quite full of the travelers you know.

    From one Inn to another he inquires within,

    I’m sorry, we’re told, We’re filled up to the brim.

    But Joseph, I’m due, my water just broke!

    Please try one more Inn and plead with the folks!

    Please let us come in! My wife is with child!

    Then only to be told, I’m filled up! With child?

    She’s with child! Now to be born?

    Head for the stables where it’s sure to be warm.

    There’s plenty of water and straw to lie down,

    I’ll talk to the other Inns till a room can be found.

    The cattle stopped their mooing and the sheep quieted down.

    The donkeys ate their fodder while my wife quickly found,

    The best place available to deliver her first child,

    In the manager. A stable where the straw was now piled.

    She quickly lay down with the pain quite severe;

    She knew that her time was now drawing quite near.

    Joseph, not knowing just what was to be done,

    Cried out to his Father, please God, deliver your Son.

    Then quickly as that his head did appear,

    And Joseph pulled gently as his body came clear.

    Oh what a baby which was now in his hands.

    The Son of God came to be a sacrifice for man.

    Now, but a baby, so helpless and new,

    Joseph would care for Him that was his cue.

    He washed up the child and wrapped him in cloth,

    And laid him in Mary’s arms so tender and soft.

    Her breast would now feed him and care for His need,

    She was so happy she had accomplished her deed.

    Imagine this child who was placed in her arms,

    So magnificently beautiful with all of His charms.

    Now he must grow with nourishment and care,

    From Mary his Mother and His Step-Father to share.

    Looking after His needs from morning till night,

    He’s sure to be cared for. His childhood was bright.

    As other children came along to the family of three,

    Half brothers and half sisters who sat on His knee.

    He would help them grow up as they learn how to walk,

    Always looking to Jesus, He taught them to talk.

    Jesus learned well in his Father’s carpenters shop.

    Carved out toys for the children until told when to stop.

    Helped Joseph make chairs and tables to sell.

    He made them so smooth to the touch. He did well.

    He then made a cross and pondered to think,

    Some day I’ll be hanging on a cross as a link;

    Mankind to the Father was His duty in life,

    But oh what a price as He carved with His knife.

    This young man with all of His thoughts;

    Would be obedient to his Father and Mother as taught.

    The obedience then would be transferred to his Father above,

    For He was sent down from Heaven from the Father with love.

    Love for the world but a price which had to be paid.

    It was death on the cross for their sins to be laid.

    On Him, God’s Dear Son, would He be willing to fulfill?

    Oh yes, He was willing to pay the full bill.

    His mission was continually upon His young mind,

    And all frivolous thoughts He left far behind.

    His mission He knew would not be pleasant at all,

    But for the sake of His brethren He would not shirk the call.

    Sober and somber He would stick to the task,

    Being obedient to His Father’s will His life’s mold was now cast.

    Looking at the world through eyes, from His Father up above,

    He would not give this world His affections and love.

    Headed for the cross was not a pleasant thought,

    But the sins of the world just had to be bought.

    And He was willing to pay the complete and full price;

    Knowing a Holy God up in Heaven, His own blood would suffice.

    Even his Mon and Step-Dad believed in His cause,

    Grieved in their hearts knowing their Son would enter death’s jaws.

    But still thankful to God for the sacrifice their son would apply;

    For the sins of the world and for them too, our God would justify.

    Therefore His life had purpose and will,

    He would not slack His duty or His purpose to fill.

    Willing to suffer clear to the end,

    Giving up His young life for others to win.

    The Pharisees would question His purpose and thought;

    But that made no difference even though His life they had sought.

    His purpose and will was to go to the cross;

    For death any other way would cause total loss.

    For the Bible predicted the way He should die;

    To give up His life any other way would be a lie.

    To the cross He must go, there was no other way,

    To be obedient to God and that is the way He would stay.

    And so as a tender young youth, with a look to the cross,

    He entered His teens determined to pay the full cost.

    Though pain He would face from friend and from foe;

    Determined He was, to the cross He must go.

    His step brothers and step sisters enjoyed life to the hilt;

    Because it wasn’t their blood that was to be spilt.

    So they enjoyed their living and learned all they could;

    As step brother Jesus taught them the wrong from the good.

    His story so amazing this step brother of theirs;

    But Mother and Father explained his life filled with there care.

    That He was conceived of the Holy Ghost that was so true,

    And brought up in a family of which we call Jews.

    His step brothers and step sisters amazed at this tale;

    Could hardly believe, but was assured that He would not fail.

    And so they watched Jesus in all that He did;

    Amazed at His patience and His sorrow of heart; that He hid.

    Jesus the oldest was ever so kind,

    Never made fun of the older, the lame or the blind.

    Anxious for His ministry but patient He must be;

    To obey his Father’s will; even though it meant to hang on a tree.

    His teen years filled with wonder at God’s magnificent world;

    The stars, moon and sun with His power He did hurl;

    Into our space so perfectly planned;

    There is no excuse for all of the land;

    To know this Dear God who is forgiving to all,

    Especially when upon His name they do call.

    And so as a teen and knowing all of the facts;

    Why don’t they wake up and expel all the quacks.

    The Pharisees who are supposed to be knowledgeable and wise;

    Look down on this lad with quite a surprise.

    Who taught Him these truths at His age, oh so young?

    What school did He attend? Where did His ancestors come from?

    He’s nothing but a youth, oh how could He know?

    The answers that He gives to the questions we bestow.

    His Father was a carpenter and His Mother of no fame;

    But still He knows the answers all of the same.

    He says He’s from God, from the Father up above;

    But we know that is not true, we’re humans, not a dove.

    There’s got to be a trick for His knowledge to have,

    We’ll watch Him and catch Him as we lean on our staves.

    But Jesus grew in stature and knowledge with God;

    Obedient to parents; not needing the rod.

    Helpful to his step-brothers and step-sisters alike,

    Doing all He can with all of His might.

    Growing older and older and now about thirty;

    His ministry began and His speech was not wordy.

    Being baptized by John as a witness to all;

    He was acknowledged by God as the Spirit did fall;

    Like a dove upon Him as witnessed by all,

    He would stand firm in His life, while facing the gall.

    They listened to His speech and wondered at His words;

    Is this the Elijah who in the passed vanished we heard?

    Who was this person who looks just like us,

    Yet boasts of His Master and challenges us in our lust.

    Who does He think He is? Where did He come from?

    We’ll look into His past and who was his Mom?

    He’s just like one of us and born out of wed-lock!

    Who does He think He is, who says Peter is a rock?

    His message is not clear, why doesn’t He make Himself known?

    And He’s healing on the Sabbath of which we can’t condone.

    He’s too young, he’s got to be a fake;

    He’s not from our God; His life we should take;

    And so they plotted and plotted again;

    Let’s trap Him and show them all of His sin.

    So on through His life each step He should take;

    They watched Him and watched Him to prove Him a fake.

    Though in death He would raise them, the blind they would see,

    Even on the Sabbath He would heal them and set them all free.

    The Pharisees were mad, there followers they would lose;

    We’ve got to stop Him before they all choose;

    To follow Him, our power will be all gone,

    We’ve got to stop Him for we’re losing the throng.

    Hit Him with questions to prove Him a fake;

    Catch Him in lies or our people He will take.

    Here is the question with what we propose;

    Get that woman in adultery and He’ll condemn her we suppose.

    To the woman they go for they knew where she was at,

    For they have all been to her and now they attack;

    Throwing her down in front of Him there;

    They condemned her to death as was taught in the square.

    Now what will He do, condemn her He should;

    The Mosaic Law condemned her and they could;

    Pick up the stones, put her to death was their wish;

    But the Master was wise as He listened to this.

    He who is without sin let him cast the first stone;

    As He looked upon them all for they all had her alone;

    They were all guilty from the oldest to young;

    And they all dropped there stones as His words their heart stung.

    Where are your accusers? Where did they all go?

    Does no one condemn you? I want you to know,

    That you’re free from your sin and all of your guilt,

    Are washed in my blood on the cross to be spilt.

    Forgiven, forgiven she felt it clear through;

    Her life was now free, forgiven she knew.

    Oh what freedom she had from all of the past;

    Freedom yes freedom I have freedom at last.

    But the Pharisees had not the same;

    They had in their heart a whole lot of shame;

    And from the oldest to the youngest they all walked away;

    Hating this Jesus, for their sin He did show them today.

    Conferring together how they might take Him and kill;

    He’s not fit to live and they sure had the will;

    To find a sure reason to do away with this man,

    He’s a liar and a fake and we’ll catch Him if we can.

    So they watched Him and watched Him but their purpose was evil;

    He’s full of sin! His father is the devil.

    He breaks the Sabbath, so He can’t be of God,

    So they cast Him out of the city, intending to throw Him off sod;

    But He walking thru their mist, went on His way,

    For He was not to die by them, especially on this day;

    So to Capernaum He went, a city in Galilee,

    And there He taught the people and set the captives free.

    What word is this! They talked among themselves,

    Unclean spirits are cast out; Simon’s wife’s mother was made well.

    Let’s take to Him the sick for Him to heal them there;

    And the more they brought, He touched their every care.

    The demons cried out as they were told to leave;

    Thou are the Christ the Son of God and many of them believed.

    They tried to restrain Him, for Him not to go;

    But to the other cities He had to preach also.

    And as the people pressed Him to hear the Word of God;

    He got into Simon’s boat and preached to them out loud.

    He then asked Peter to launch out for a catch of fish;

    But Peter complained a little, however what ever you wish.

    Such a multitude of fish that their nets began to break,

    And they called out to the others to help them catch their take.

    They filled both boats clear to the brim and headed for the shore;

    For they were sure to sink if they caught any more.

    Depart from me O Lord, for I am a sinful man;

    For he was astonished at the multitude of fish at hand.

    Fear not, from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

    When they got their boats to shore they left all and followed Him,

    On to the miracles to which He did perform,

    Healed the ten lepers of which their bodies were torn.

    From afar off they lifted up their voices and said;

    Master have mercy on us, for we are all but dead.

    As Jesus turned and saw them, He spoke to them right there,

    He commanded them to go show to the priests if they dare;

    And it came to pass as they were on the way;

    They were cleansed of their leprosy and one turned about to say;

    With a great loud voice he glorified his God;

    For his leprosy was gone and would not be placed under the sod.

    Were there not ten who came to be cleansed?

    Where are the nine? Will they not make amends?

    How typical of the people of this ungrateful world;

    Who receive good gifts from the Father and have no grace to unfurl.

    No thankful heart for the things they receive;

    But go on in their sinning, for they refuse to believe.

    God blesses us all with good things from above;

    And sent His Holy Spirit who came down like a dove.

    But people reject His grace and His love;

    They do their own thing and reject the Father above.

    How sad, yes how sad, the ungratefulness of it all;

    When God wants to bless them and save them from their fall.

    But people just reject their God with His precious gift,

    The plan of salvation which would give them a heavenly lift.

    From the hell and its torments that’s due all mankind;

    If the Savior they reject, then they never can find;

    Peace in this world from the cares of this life;

    But will only end up in misery and in hell and in strife.

    Hell was prepared for the devil and his demons;

    Not for mankind but they refuse to be freemen.

    Yes, free from their sin and habits of life;

    Free to give Jesus their heart full of strife.

    But on they all go continuing in their sin;

    Not happy in life, no contentment within;

    Looking for peace that only our God who can give;

    But they refuse the real source and thus cannot live;

    With peace and contentment that comes from above,

    Cannot have joy, or the richness of love;

    Cannot experience relief from their sorrow of heart;

    For that only comes when a person will start;

    At the cross where Jesus died and gave His own life;

    Confess all their own sins and be washed from their strife;

    For the cleansing of sin and His presence come in;

    To give you peace and contentment when forgiven from sin.

    Look to Jesus now, He’s waiting for your call;

    If you would but believe in Him, and confess your sin all.

    He will forgive you and wash you clean from your sin,

    Will enter into your life and give you peace now within.

    Then there was Lazarus who desired a few crumbs,

    That fell from the rich man’s table, oh may there be some.

    But soon he died and was carried above;

    To Abraham’s bosom with much tender love.

    The rich man also died and in hell he lifted his eyes;

    And seeing Lazarus in Abraham’s bosom he groans as he cries.

    Abraham, send Lazarus down to dip the tip of his finger in water;

    And cool my tongue, for in this fire I am so much hotter!

    But Abraham said, Remember that thou in thy lifetime,

    You received the good things, while poor Lazarus did whine.

    Now he is comforted and you are now tormented.

    He is now blessed and you are now offended.

    Besides all this, there is a great gulf fixed between us.

    He cannot go, and you cannot come, and it’s too late to trust!

    Then send him Abraham to my brothers that he testify to them!

    They have Moses, the Prophets, let them read what they penned!

    Nay Father Abraham, if one went from the dead, they will repent!

    If they hear not Moses and the Prophets, and if have to them sent One from the dead, that will not persuade them, they are content;

    To live their lives as they now do, their riches they have spent.

    The rich man knows God’s Word is true, man must make his choice;

    To live for God or his own way, your life is but your voice.

    The rich man chose to do his thing and live the life of self;

    But now he suffers oh so much, unable to use his wealth.

    ’Tis written in the Word for us to listen and for us to have heard;

    Take heed my friend and listen a spell to God’s wonderful Word.

    Accept Him now with your head bowed, give your heart to him.

    He will forgive you of all your sin, if you but let him to come in.

    The choice is all yours and yours all alone;

    He gave His life for your sin to atone.

    Don’t waste a moment turn your life over to Him;

    He will wash you and cleanse you from all of your sin.

    The peace He will give you the peace that you have longed;

    For He is the peace giver and will right all your wrongs.

    His arms now outstretched and pleading with you;

    Don’t turn your back on Him or your life will be through.

    He has done all He could do, the price fully paid;

    It’s you that must turn now and your heart fully lay;

    Down at His feet in full submission to Him;

    Crying out for mercy; because of a life that’s full of sin.

    That’s why he died to cleanse you from your sin;

    And give you a new life of peace now within.

    Peace from the Peace giver, life from above,

    To be forgiven by God and filled with his love.

    This too is what Mary experienced when filled with this thought;

    This child of hers paid the full price for her sins to be bought.

    With tremendous emotion of what has just transpired;

    Holding God’s Son and to God she inquired.

    Oh, my Lord and my God! This little child of mine!

    Grew up to be a man who would invite all to come and dine.

    Dine with the Master, an invitation to all;

    For sins to be forgiven and His peace to install.

    Now to the garden with His disciples in prayer;

    Most fell asleep and with Jesus in despair;

    Oh my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass,

    Nevertheless to this end my life came at last.

    To this end was I born and a pure life did I live,

    The spotless Lamb of God, a sacrifice to give.

    For the sins of the world if they would but ask,

    For forgiveness from Me, a forgiveness that lasts.

    The soldiers now come with Judas in front;

    An agreement from him with the silver to count.

    The one that I kiss, that is Him I will swear,

    Don’t let Him get away, hold Him with care.

    Who do you seek for? What is you mission today?

    We seek for this Jesus, who says He’s God on display.

    I am He! The others let them go!

    And they fell back in awe, as they confronted their foe.

    The disciples all fled and left Him alone,

    As Judas counted his silver not believing this Jesus to atone.

    Jesus now taken to the high priest in haste;

    Tell us who struck you; prophesy who struck you in the face!

    Art thou the Christ? Tell us if you can!

    When I am dead I will sit on God’s own right hand.

    What need we of further witnesses, you heard from His own mouth.

    On to Pilate we will take Him, right into his own house.

    Art thou the King of the Jews? Thou sayest it, He said;

    I found no fault with Him and the accusations I have read;

    There is found no fault in Him that is worthy of His death;

    And they cried out the more, hear what He saith!

    He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout the land;

    That He is the Son of God and He has His little band;

    He is not fit to live, to the death He must go;

    Crucify Him till He is dead or until He tells us what He knows.

    Pilate sent Him to Herod for from Galilee He is from,

    And that is Herod’s jurisdiction, so they took Him on the run.

    Herod was glad to see Him for the many stories He was told;

    That this Jesus of Nazareth did miracles that was quite bold.

    With many words did he question Him and a miracle was required,

    Not a word did Jesus answer of the many questions that they fired;

    So back to Pilate He must go to stand before him again;

    Pilate told them that he must let Him go. I find no fault in Him!

    I will therefore chastise Him and release Him, free to go!

    But the people cried the louder; do not release Him, No! No! No!

    Crucify Him! Crucify Him! And let Barabbas go free;

    For this Jesus of Nazareth must die upon the tree.

    With the tumult they did create and the voices they did make;

    Pilate went along with their request for his power was at stake.

    Jesus was released to them at the people’s own request;

    Now headed for the cross with His Father’s purpose at the test.

    Soon to fulfill His Father’s will with His death upon the cross,

    He willingly laid down His life to win others from their loss.

    Dying there upon the tree His blood now flowing free;

    He gave up His young life that you and I might see;

    That His laying down His life for us as He died upon the cross,

    That no further price was to be paid to save us from our loss.

    He paid the entire debt that was required for our sin.

    Insult to Him it would be if we tried to help Him cleanse within.

    He paid it all, the entire debt at His death He did pay;

    All that we now have to do is trust Him as we lay;

    Our every sin that we did commit at His cross on display.

    Confess it all to God alone and in your heart you pray;

    Dear God, forgive, I pray my every sin to Thee I now confess,

    And wash me clean from every stain, come in my heart and bless.

    Thank you for your dying on the cross for all my sin;

    Help me to be grateful for your cleansing power within.

    I know that you paid the entire price to cleanse me from my sin;

    I now want to thank you for the Spirit that now dwells within.

    Dwelling now within my heart, I give Him full control,

    Of my entire life for Him and for His will to unfold.

    THE FRIEND OF THE AGED

    Blessed are they, who try to understand,

    My faltered slow step and feeble palsied hand.

    Blessed are they, who surely know this day,

    It’s a strain to catch the things they really want to say.

    Blessed are they, who really do know,

    That my eyes are getting dim and my wits are very slow.

    Blessed are they, who look the other way,

    When I spilled the coffee, at the table today.

    Blessed are they when with a very happy smile;

    Who stop to see me and chat for a long while.

    Blessed are they, who would never say,

    You’ve told me that story several times today.

    Blessed are they, who show others the way,

    To bring back all of the memories of yesterday.

    Blessed are the people who make it always known;

    That I’m respected and loved, and never alone.

    Blessed are the people who ease along this day.

    On their Heavenly journey home; in a most wonderful way.

    Yes blessed too, are you who care;

    That my body is weak and yes need of repair.

    But love me just the same that way,

    And help me as I journey on my way.

    Those who care and hold me in their arms;

    To show love to me and keep me from all harm.

    Yes blessed, blessed are you to me,

    You’re an Angel of God to help set me free.

    Oh I’m so very much blessed, that I am,

    To have people like you as part of God’s plan.

    Brothers and sisters who give an helping hand,

    To care for others in helping them to stand.

    Who say, I Love You, and show that they care,

    By the things that they do and the things they share.

    Bless all of your servants Dear Lord today;

    Sharing their lives, God’s love’s on display.

    Always looking for others, their guarding hands to help;

    Leading them to Jesus and their lonely hearts to melt.

    What a wonderful way to live ones life here below;

    To serve the Master in humility, His gifts to bestow;

    On to others whom God brings to us in the way;

    Knowing God does all things well with His love to stay.

    Twenty four hours a day in His loving care;

    Always looking for others for His love to share;

    Letting our cups to over flow on to others in need;

    Praising the Master for all His wonderful precious deeds.

    Think of it my friend, God records all that is done for Him;

    Then when we’re in Heaven looking ship, shape and trim;

    The Father will hand you your Heavenly rewards;

    Then we’ll give them back to Jesus those that He records.

    DON’T EVER LOOK DOWN

    When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,

    Don’t ever look down for our God cannot fill,

    Your heart with joy and love and song;

    So don’t ever look down when things go wrong.

    Look up dear friend, look up to the sky,

    For there sits our Jesus who was willing to die,

    For the sins of the world our confession to make.

    Never look down friend, for Satan’s a fake.

    Yes, he’s a fake for he cannot give peace,

    To all of God’s children, for he is a thief.

    So never look down dear children of God,

    Satan’s a rip-off; don’t give him a nod.

    Look up to our Jesus, who’s in heaven above.

    Look to God’s Word and be filled with His Love.

    Looking to Jesus, the author of our faith.
