"Two Heads Are Better Than One is a special book from the heart of a true Southern gent who walks the talk of his faith and beliefs. It is a heart-to-heart conversation about his best friend Jesus. In his stories you will see Chris as a natural friend to most people who have crossed his path. I am honored to be one of those people. There is a truth and honesty that his mentor grandmother left with him that colors the way he treats others. Thank you, Chris, for caring so much about God’s Children, for sharing with the world the greatest gift a sensitive soul can give, his faith."

Chris Ladd is not only a good friend but a great story teller as well. He takes the reader along with him on his journey and is not ashamed to put Christ first in his life. We need more books like this one!

Chris,
As we travel down this road of life, isn’t it strange that we sometimes forget the past? However, thanks to you, after reading your book, I found an overwhelming amount of the past come reaching back. My faith in God has always been strong, but you have just made it a little stronger. I have never been too good with words, but simply put, I love your book.

I spend a lot of time on a bus or waiting in an airport. I am the type of guy who has to be doing something all the time or I get bored really quick. I have two loves besides my family. One is Running and the other is Reading. It takes a lot to keep my attention. What I love about Chris is that He pulls you into the story immediately with things we can all relate to. I feel myself unable to put it down because I want to know what happens next. He brings the characters fiction or non fiction to life to where you feel you have known these people forever. I recommend anything Chris writes and I’m waiting on the next one.

I have known Chris Ladd on a personal and professional basis for well over a decade. Some people wear Christianity on their sleeve, while others live their life in a Godly manner. Chris is one of those people who lives life in an exemplary and Christ-like manner. Always dependable, always giving of his time and talents to help others. Chris truly helps those in need, whether playing Santa to children at Nashville’s
School For The Blind, hosting the Cerebral Palsy telethon, sometimes feeding those who are hungry and mentoring others, Chris is there when it counts. A true test of faith is to experience a medical scare or watch a loved one slowly slip away… . I’ve seen Chris show amazing spiritual faith under both of these conditions. This book is a window into Chris’ life and shows the reader why Chris has such deep faith and why he is so well grounded. I hope it helps you in your life.

A compelling tale of a life; not one enslaved to glamour, fame, ego or pride, but one of humility, compassion, love and service to others. Simple, unvarnished truth; authentic and unashamed… the way it ought to be. Thanks, Chris, for sharing your story with all of us.

FOREWORD
Who is Chris Ladd?
Just ask Laddie. He will answer you in tail-waggin’ language and a vocal response that may sound like barking but is really a voice of love for his owner, telling you that Chris is a fine Christian who walks softly and carries a big, unselfish, generous heart.
I have known Chris most of his life, beginning with his appearance on The Cousin Tuny Show when he was a little boy. Later our paths met again, and for some 45 years, we were a part of the annual West Tennessee Cerebral Palsy Center Telethon for GOD’S SPECIAL CHILDREN. I consider Chris one of my Chosen Tuny’s Children Cousins.
Where there is a real need, Chris will answer that call, for he has spent his life in service to others, inspired by his deep faith and love of Jesus Christ.
The following pages will tell you who Chris Ladd really is as you enjoy a fun and loving experience written from Chris’s heart. They will tickle your fancy, melt your heart, expand your love for your fellowman, and give your soul a bath while they remind you of God’s eternal love for all of us by sending His Son to die for our sins.
This book is designed not only for your enjoyment but as a perfect addition for your coffee table. ENJOY!
A HUNDRED YEARS FROM NOW
NOBODY WILL REMEMBER YOUR NAME,
WHAT YOU DID, OR WHAT YOU HAD,
BUT THE WORLD WILL BE DIFFERENT AND BETTER
BECAUSE YOU WERE IMPORTANT IN THE LIVES
OF MANY, MANY CHILDREN.
Thank you, Chris,
