Can the Elect Be Deceived
()
About this ebook
The spirit of deception is rampant among us, and without keen discernment one can and will fall prey to the devourer. Deception mimics sincerity and is designed to look and sound good and feel right. The impostor comes posing as the "Real McCoy," and oft times we are none the wiser.
Even as a minister of the gospel, when deception came I did not recognize it. It did not come the usual way. It did not announce itself. It did not come as I would suspectI did not have a clue that my deceiver was truly a "wolf in sheep's clothing." So I tell my story to sound the alarm!
Ashira Bellamy
Ashira Bellamy is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Called to the office of Teacher, she admits that this was certainly not her idea. She is a graduate of Temple University where she majored in Communications and Theater in her home town of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Although writing is one of her passions, she was infatuated with the magic of theatre. In 1983 she was beckoned to Los Angeles to play the leading lady in a stage production. In 1984 Los Angeles became her home and she ventured out to pursue her acting career. It wasn't long before her plan was intercepted, and she realized that God had another plan for her life. While visiting a church with friends, she found herself standing to her feet at the conclusion of the service and surrendering her life to Christ. After a decade of serving as a personal ministry's worker in her church, she answered the call to ministry, and there began her journey and her story. She is a graduate of Crenshaw Christian Center's Ministry Training Institute in Los Angeles. Her mission in life is to serve. Her vision is to impact and forever change the lifeless places of worship by approaching every platform with the intentional focus of empowering the Body of Christ through teaching and imparting knowledge of Holy Spirit; The Gift, The Power, The Evidence, The Benefits. Ashira's greatest joy and blessings are the precious gifts of her son, her daughter, and grandsons. She declares, "I was born to be a mother."
