About this ebook

When Christ taught, many times He used the inner workings of peoples occupations to help make a spiritual principle more understood. These earthly examples can guide us to heavenly revelations, to live our lives in a way that is pleasing to God. May this book guide you in such a way.

Pastor Mark Stermer, Senior Pastor of The Church

I have a mechanical background, and after reading this book I see how God works through everyday practices to reveal His will for our lives by using practical things we use every day.

John Scott Pace

As an engineer, I am trained to think about things scientifically. I need to see or hear the problem in order for it to be real. There is no faith involved in my field. While this works well for chemical processes, man cannot survive on reason alone. We need to be replenished by something much greater than ourselves. I believe that God is the answer to what our souls are always seeking.

Jamie Gregory

This book has such a practical approach to living a Christian life with our many everyday challenges from a workplace viewpoint.

Gary Ellington

I was encouraged while reading this devotional, for I too am an instrument technician and I was able to relate. God is able to teach and encourage us even as we work our daily job.

Ken Paxton

Ken began writing while he was in high school as a way to vent his emotions. These emotions came from a tragic lawnmower accident that almost ended his life at the young age of seven. He has continued writing throughout the years, and using his current occupation as an instrument technician, he chose to write this book in the hope that others would relate to what God has shown him through his own work. Ken enjoys spending time with his family and friends and has been involved in many church ministries, most notably as a leader in Royal Rangers. He also enjoys cooking, hunting, fishing, and camping. Ken is married to Brandi Babin Paxton and has a son, Kyland, along with two stepsons, Nick and Logan. He cherishes the time with his wife and kids. One of his favorite things to cook for friends and family is boiled crawfish, a good family tradition.
