About this ebook

Be Careful Who You Follow is undoubtedly a page turner. It is filled with adventure, thrills, mystery, excitement and tension. The story portrays an important message for all ages. To be called a leader, one has to set good examples for those following. Obedience is better than sacrifice.
Several first-time curious campers, heading out to an island called Camp Wahoo, anxiously wait to begin their camping experience; unaware that mishap after mishap are about to grip their fears and dash their spirits.
What would the children tell their parents when they return home? Would the parents feel comfortable enough to send their children back to the same camp the following year after learning about the unfortunate, unpleasant incidents? Would they trust the counselors with their children again?
The story encompasses lessons in nature and life changing disciplines. Many thought provoking questions are asked and left unanswered. Thus, leaving the reader to determine what the results could possibly be.
This book is not only an exciting adventure story and mystery for pleasure reading. It can also be used as a resourceful teaching tool. Included are questions that the young reader can ponder and answer, as well as a 100 word glossary, with the same words used in the story, in order to enhance the vocabulary.

Recommended for children ages 8 and up with assistance. Would be enjoyed by teenagers, teachers and adults alike.

    Acknowledgements

It would be remiss of me if I did not acknowledge my mother, now deceased, who is totally responsible for the result of who and what I am today.

Uliah Obrenlet Saunders, a strict disciplinarian, did not have the privilege of attending or graduating from any of the finest or most prestigious schools in the world. However, she successfully graduated Cum Laude, in obtaining the highest distinction than any other mother, in her struggle to raise and educate ten children.

She was a gifted teacher in so many ways that impacted my life beyond measure. She saw gifts and talents in me that I never would have dreamed possible. It was because of her, that this book, Be Careful Who You Follow, which otherwise may never have been written, depicts the very same principles for which she stood.

My life is undoubtedly contingent on the faith, morals, integrity, hope and most of all, the unconditional love that she imparted to me, and my siblings. She would always say, Mind your own business, a phrase that I too convey religiously to my own grandchildren.

This book is a conduit through which flow my mother’s instructions of the importance of valuable attributes that she instilled in
