This book is a tribute to my Heavenly Father for exhibiting miraculous healing in my body. The poems in this book were written during and after my process of overcoming. This book is a presentation of a supernatural production. It is the combination of my natural mind and God’s supernatural power that made this production possible. This still creates a real supernatural work. I give all glory and honor to my Almighty God.

    Definition of Poetry

Personally, I believe that there are so many people who have contributed to my recovery without knowing it. These people include the combination of people who love me, those who hate me, those who do not know me enough to know if they should like or hate me, and those who were bribed to hate me.

Most importantly, I give ultimate gratitude and glory to Almighty God. The Lord kept me through all my afflictions and healed me like no one could. The gratitude in my spirit will never dissipate.

To my son, Mekylon, you have proven to me that your foundation in the Word of God is good. As a mother, I have observed you. You continue to read your Bible on a daily basis. You had to entertain yourself with your DS console when I lacked the ability to help you. You had to help me more times than I could have helped you. You were denied motherly care at the most delicate times of your life from age 9 to14. Those were years in which parental support was mostly required for transition to teenage years. By the grace of God, you have done well in school, and you continue to do well. I am proud to call you my son. Keep up the good work.

To my husband, Michael, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we have achieved twenty-one years of marriage. It was not easy with all the turmoil in our lives and with no family income, but the Lord proved Himself as Jehovah Jireh— our provider. I am not amazed as to how this happened. I am just grateful that you have survived this ordeal. It is nothing but the grace of God. When a family can survive on one income, which can be hard, it is worse with no income. I am grateful to the Lord for sustaining you, and I am grateful to you for staying.

Limitless gratitude to Vernon. You have stood with my family and me in a time of major suffering and loss. Had it not been for you, being obedient to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, I do not know how our family would have made it to this point in our lives. As quoted in the scripture in Mark 3:34–35 NLT, you are the equivalent to what the scripture describes as who a brother is. Then he looked at those around him and said, ‘Look, these are my mother and brothers. Anyone who does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.’ You are my brother, you are a part of my family, and I accept nothing less. You have been there to support Mekylon, going for bike rides with him, ensuring that he got home from school safely when I attended my many medical appointments. You faithfully assisted my family and supported me during my times of afflictions. You saw me through suffering to healing.

Most of all, to provide a home and financial support for a family of three for so many years could only be accomplished by your faithfulness and the grace of God. I will be forever grateful to you.

Heartfelt thanks to the people who assisted me in the process. The sincere prayers made a difference. There are many people whom the Lord has used to assist me in different ways, although they may not know that I understand what the Lord was doing. Our God is an awesome God, and He deserves all the glory.

Like a rose, you can develop from a seed to a flower with good root that will produce good fruit and good fragrance for this and the next generations.

You can transition from mission impossible to mission that’s possible with God’s help and your determination.
