About this ebook
Paper Doors boldly explores the emotions we all find it difficult to acknowledge internally, let alone verbalise. It will take you through a roller coaster of emotions from the knowing smirk that creeps upon your lips though to the hot flow of tears on your pink cheeks. It has the power to lower your defenses and urge your vulnerability as it inspires you not to go a moment longer without telling someone the whispers of your heart.

Incomplete Rooms
White Flight
Up to the heavens on pure white wings,
surrounded by nothing but beautiful things,
is my heart, when the church bells ring,
and all together, Amazing Grace we sing.
What I Know
I will always care for you.
When we are apart, and we’ve gone our separate ways; just know I will always care for you.
It is rare and beautiful – just having someone like that cross your path, someone who gets you, cares for you, supports you, and laughs with you right from the start.
I cannot deny, whatever happens there is a part of my life tied to you, and that part is part of me, so it will always be.
What Am I?
It beats, it moves, it grows,
a love born it begins to flow,
it challenges me to show,
myself past lessons I now know.
The bits that normally scare,
just feel everyday I’m aware,
far from others’ fanfare,
is this comforting feeling I bare.
Us to Me
This pain it moves around me,
inside it grabs and shakes me,
the dark clouds it brings within me,
the air is thick it chokes me.
A pain that slowly suffocates,
within the life it begins to take,
it makes eyes hot and tears wait,
the prick that begins their fate.
I don’t like how this is going,
life was tense, an unknowing,
but moving forward also strangles,
and so we dance, emotions tangle.
This pain of change I endure,
it hurts, it cuts, but I am more,
to get to the point where it no longer strikes,
where it just is, no longer my life.
Torn Pages
In the tear of life you will find me.
I am here but not to see.
Throwing Away Diamonds
I don’t know many chances that aren’t taken.
Unfortunately, they aren’t the chances of success; they are the chances of false hopes and inane dreams.
The hope of a stranger.
The conjured image of perfection we project, mixed intoxicatingly with all our desires manifested.
We aren’t available but we are beyond tempted.
We are weak.
Judgement is blind.
We take, plucking the apple right from the tree; the
