    DEDICATION

T his book is dedicated to God the Almighty , the only One who dispenses His grace upon those chosen by His election, and also upon those who learn to entreat God for His grace in their l ives.

It is also dedicated to those who earnestly desire to enjoy the blessings and the pleasures that arise from God’s grace, knowing that grace is the only authentic platform for a sustained life of greatness and all-round fulfillment.

    FOREWORD

O n a trip to South Africa, a prominent minister who happened to have the author of this book minister in his church was very much challenged by the grace of God upon him. This minister made a statement that aptly describes Apostle Julius Sajuyigbe: You are a man with a clean spirit; and we need men like you in this country.

Apostle Julius Sajuyigbe is a man who presents the truth of God’s word with a deep consciousness of God’s grace and holiness. He preaches Jesus in the way everyone can relate to. His labour among people of various nationalities in many nations of the world has resulted in the salvation of many souls, healing for the body and mind, and the strengthening of the spirit.

In this book, a man who has experienced abundant grace from God speaks to us all on how to position ourselves for a higher level of grace than we are currently enjoying. He tells us there is much more where the little we have came from, and teaches us how to tap into the endless resources of God’s grace.

The prequel to this book, Grace in Action, made such a great impact that made the writing of this book necessary. You cannot read this book and remain the same. May you enter into God’s superabundance today.

    INTRODUCTION

A week after we published Grace in Action , I was in fellowship with the Holy Spirit on a beautiful morning when the Lord began to forcefully speak to me about a sequel to the book. This was rather surprising to me. The book, Grace in Action was very successful and surpassed all our projections. All we received had been positive responses and encouraging testimonies from readers. But the Lord, who knows more than we can ever know, began to open my eyes to deeper areas to bring out on His grace.

This book is not meant to replace Grace in Action. In this book, the Lord will speak to you more on how to activate the grace of God in your life. In the first book, we see what grace can do. In this book, you will see how you can make grace do what it is meant to do in your life.

Why is this book necessary? Many people, especially the children of God, sometimes see the grace of God at work in others and begin to despair because they seemingly cannot see God’s grace working for them. They know God is not partial, but what they see in their lives seem to tell them something different. After investigating and engaging in negative introspection, they begin to attribute the manifestation of God’s grace they see in other people’s lives to the circumstances of their birth, or their parentage, or the country of their birth and so on.

But God is indeed not partial. Peter the Apostle makes this crystal clear in his words to the household of Cornelius, a Roman soldier found out by God’s grace. Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him. (Acts 10:34-35 WEB).

If some people seem to be experiencing God’s favour, mercy and grace, and you seem to be lacking these, it is necessary that you find out why. Also, if you have been experiencing favour and grace in the past, never for one moment think that you are getting the best you can. God’s riches are unfathomable, and you cannot exhaust his grace. There is more to receive.

    PART ONE:

    THE FOUNDATION OF GRACE

    CHAPTER 1

    UNDERSTANDING GRACE

    page13.jpgPage14.jpg

G race is a mystery. It makes a world of difference in what happens to people in life. The Bible calls it ‘the gift’ . (Ephesians 2:8). Anything called a gift is a present given based on the goodwill of the giver, and of course the value of the gift will be a reflection of the capacity of the giver. If the president of a nation determines to give a gift to a chosen person in his country, I believe the gift will have a presidential value.

The greatest gift anyone can receive in life is the gift of grace from God. Grace is a gift to pursue and celebrate. It is a divine enabling, a divine empowerment. It is the finger of God in the life of a man. (Exodus 8:19.).

Motivational speakers say that if you take certain steps, and observe certain principles, you will achieve success. I am not here to dispute their theories, but I do know that it is only the Word of God that carries the power for guaranteed performance. And the Word of God says in Romans 11:5-6 that …There is…election of grace. And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

This passage is not disputing that you can obtain results from your hard work, but it teaches that if you can boast that it is only your input that delivers your achievement, then grace is absent, because when grace is at work, evidence of divine influence and supernatural power will be visible.

    ADOPTED BY GRACE

Let me give you the example of a young lady I met in Cambridge in the United Kingdom a few years ago. She was from Uganda in Africa. She was in her twenties, and I believe she had a modest education, but she obviously
