One time, I noticed there was a school in LA that had the same name as me, so of course I had to stop by and introduce myself to all the kids. When I got there, the students were so kind and inviting… they made me feel like, well, a star! Especially a very special group of 3rd graders in Ms. Scarfo’s class. They told me about something they were doing in class called, The 16 Habits of Mind. These habits were created by Art Costa and Bena Kallick.
