I speak from the gut;

I call all things achievable.

I live with great faith;

I face each day with strength and gusto.

I see every obstacle as a miracle;

I see every adversity as an opportunity for prominence.

I seek with persistence the purpose I’m here;

I fight with exceeding confidence to win.

I remain sound and crystal clear in my ideals; let the world watch me.

I am a rainbow.

My colours are desirable.

Beautiful, radiating excellence,

I am complete in colour, bright and visible,

Pleasing to behold.

I am a hero – the courage of conquerors lives in me.

I can,

No impossibility can impede my stardom, not even darkness.

INTRODUCTION

Possibilities

It was a time of mourning for my family. While on my way to a village for the burial of a beloved aunt, unwelcome thoughts seized my mind. I felt lost in painful memory and recalled disappointment. For forty minutes I was not aware of where I was, but, upon returning to myself, I heard a voice of inspiration say, Step into your place. I began to meditate on this while still travelling and started to write under a surge of inspiration. When I returned from the trip, I focused on other works.

It was 5.00 on a Sunday morning few months later; my heart awoke with a deep burning need. I looked through my window, and behold, brilliant Sunday morning light was brightening and spreading. I could not believe it. A thought dropped upon my spirit: You have been down too long; it’s time. Step out, and step into your place!

I looked up to the sky again, and a resounding baritone thundered: Just look at the day. It actually began at midnight, but the light did not show, but at six, the light conquered the darkness. So is your opportunity greater than your opposition. I was mute, my heart beating as though I were about to die. He said, There is opportunity and possibility in the womb of each day. There is another day in the womb of today: that’s your tomorrow, son! Where is your hope?

I heard another voice say to me, There is a place for every bird in the sky; there is room for every fish in the water. There is a place for every beast in the forest; there is a tree in every seed. You have a place in an even greater success.

Wow! I said. Then I looked out again and saw a tall tree waving. I thought stupidly, Why can’t you stand still, tree?

Another voice said to me, The tree has seen its place. Whenever light shows; the tree smiles.

What about man? I asked.

I heard the same resounding baritone say, "As the seed sprouts in the earth to grow into a tree, as the light breaks the darkness
