About this ebook

Do you ever wonder why God created pets? Or do you ever wonder how in the world you will get over the death of your dog? What if all you had to do was accept a free gift in order to see them again?

I thank God everyday that he did create pets, otherwise, I would never have experienced the opportunity to write Death did not take my dogs....Angels did!!! I tell about my laughs, trials, and tears of raising two puppies, burying them, and then seeing them return from heaven to say, We are alive and waiting for you!

May every pet owner have renewed faith; their beloved pets are in heaven and cannot wait for the day to see us again!

    Preface

As I’ve aged, my short and long term memory seems not to be one of my strong points. Losing my second dog, a year after my first one, was extremely emotional. So, to my surprise when all the memories started flooding into my head, I decided to write them down. I definitely did not have a book in mind when I started. My thoughts were of healing, and the best way to heal was to write a memory journal.

It wasn’t until two, three-year-old boys made my whole journal come alive. God then overwhelmingly pressed on my heart to write down what happened in order to share with others his precious gifts to us. (Romans 6:23)

Thank you so much to Deena and Gianna who helped put my writings together. A special thank you to my heavenly father who loves me so much to bless Owen and Cooper, just to make my life so much happier!

    CHAPTER 1

    Buying a Dog

Like a good dog owner that I wanted to be, I read up on some dogs I thought I would like. You know, the ones that are the least maintenance, won’t eat you out of house and home, or require daily baths due to running through the mud. I also didn’t want to offend my neighbors with a dog that barks day and night or chases their cats into a frenzy. Some people want to buy a dog for their child, who begs and cries to have one, knowing full well that they will be the ones taking care of it. They shouldn’t worry though, because that same child will grow
