Heather Randell

Heather Randell was born in Grand Falls-Windsor, a beautiful town in central Newfoundland, Canada, and she speaks proudly of being the youngest of eleven children. Heather served as a missionary with The Salvation Army from 1985 until 2009. Having lived in seven different countries and having travelled extensively on four continents, she has taken up writing. This is the third book Heather has published. The first two related Heather’s fond memories of tales her Mother told of her childhood. This book has a completely different flavor as it relates to a biblical view of a synergistic commitment between God and an individual.

PREFACE

Life changed when my spiritual journey began with my conversion and a search for the blessing of holiness. Hopefully, anyone who reads this book will be assured of the attainability of holiness or sanctification for everyone who receives Jesus Christ as Savior.

My journey led me as a missionary to third world countries, and life there impressed upon me a deep sense of community within the church. Work with young people in that setting was conducive to developing a deeper awareness of the ability of a person converted in the twenty-first century to worship with complete abandon. Walking closer to God became a passion and my life’s goal.

It is my prayer that this book will influence others to seek a deeper understanding of the blessing of holiness. God desires to bless His people and to draw them closer to Himself. God is still raising up a holy people who will love one another unconditionally.

I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1-2)
