    Dear my friend:

    Prologue:

This is something I had been dreaming to do with you,

I will take this chance to show you what I mean.

Let my eye be yours so you can see what I see,

Let your heart beat with mine so you can feel how I feel,

I don’t have a destination for where we may go, but together we will be fine,

Let your strength be mine and let our heart lead us the way.

    Let’s make a journey together!

Day 1: The night that we begin our journey.

I keep driving along the Pacific coast highway to Newport Beach. The reason why I keep driving this way is because I really need some fresh air to clear my head. My heart is still burning inside and a part of my soul had lost. I am hurt but I must go on… I am driving but I don’t know where i am going. What had happen to me? I will tell you later but what happen right now is that I need to get away because I can see so much cop cars ahead of me with their siren on Newport beach Blvd. I think they could be waiting for me. I feel a little panic. They are everywhere and I don’t want to bump into them right now so I make a quick U turn and before you knew it, a cop car follow up and drive right behind me. No! I say to myself Don’t panic, you had done nothing wrong. The cop car keep driving behind us for about 2 miles then he turn on his ‘red and blue’ light. I say to myself No, not now. Why now… I start to pull over, but then he makes a U turn and run back to the Newport real fast. Wow I’m glad that I am not the one he is looking for. My head feel lighter; it actually takes my headache away. Now we have to get out of here as fast as possible before anything else would happen. I make a last stop at Target to get some supplies. I bought 1 hand bag, 1 sweater, 1 blanket, 1 towel, 1 washcloth, toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo and a map, that’s all for now. We are ready to do this! Bye Orange County, bye everybody! Then we take the 405 south toward San Diego. Just about an hour earlier I thought there is nothing else in this world to keep me going, but in my deepest of despair my mind created a vision of what may change everything. That was went I had made my decision to take my son on this an unexpected a journey with me. His name is Jason, i call him J. There was a time that i had been away from him and all i dream was to take him on a trip like this so tonight i will make that dream come true. The road is long ahead with no destination of where we may yet but we will drive along as long as there is a road. So if you like to come with us to visit America and to see where the road may take us, we will be happy to have you too.

While driving I’m scratching my head wondering where and how we are going to do this. I live most of my life in Orange County and I haven’t got out of the state of California. I still don’t even have a clue how we going to do this yet because it was never planned. We are driving in my 1990 Toyota pickup truck, she is 17 year old, and I name her Happy so I can feel related to that but the fact is Happy is an old truck and I don’t know how long she could last to go on with us, but at this point it doesn’t really matter to me. I think I am just going to follow the road to see where it will take us and don’t care much about anything else. It may sound crazy but it the only thing I could think of right now. I don’t have my phone and not even a time clock with me. Our trip is more like an adventure roller coaster drive so we just have to wait to see what may pop in our way and roll with it. I think I do have about 800 dollar in my personal bank. How far can we go with the money i have? I don’t know, but like I said whatever will be, let it be. Or maybe I will have a sign to work for food and gas along the way. So for right now as long as Happy still run and my son is happy I will do whatever it take to get us to where we want to go. I believe when we are willing to give it all we got, we can get to wherever we want to go! I have nothing else to worry anymore, I may have no clue of direction but I know one thing that can get us going. I know how to use a map. Sometime it comes in handy if you know how to use it. I make a stop at a point view over the ocean area in Dana point. I had taken my family here once where we were on our way to an outlet mall in Oceanside about 20 minutes from here. We had stopped here so we could see the ocean view and let the kids play with the birds. I remember how silly my son was, he was a scary little boy. He was feeding the bird but when they came close to him, he ran away. We had so much fun together that day, but tonight it was too late for him to play with the bird and I feel a bit lonely to be here along with him. The cold fresh air welcomes me when I walk out of my truck. Tonight the sky is clear and the moon is bright. I walk out to the edge of the cliff looking far into the ocean. There I saw a falling star that just fell down from the sky into the dark ocean. The reflections of my own shadow came from the light of my truck reach far out to search for it. Nothing is out there, it was too late. The sky tonight is bright but now it’s missing a star. I struggled with sadness until a voice inside of me speak if you don’t let your sorrow go, it will stand in your way. Remember you are here with your son and he is with you, don’t you see him? He is standing next to you, can you see him now? And there he come to me, he look scared.

Don’t be scared, baby! I’m here with you and I will take you to wherever you want to go tomorrow, how about the Zoo? And we will sleep here tonight okay! I told him, I think he would be happy to go visit the zoo because he does loves all the animals. At home he have a whole set of animal toys which he know how to say them all. I’m very tired and I need to lie down so I go back to my truck, push my chair back, and get my blanket out. Before I go to sleep I tell myself y0u can’t let your emotion take over your thinking, you must be strong and stay strong, we’re on a journey together and we must go on! I close my eye and heard my son breathing softly as he sleeps next to me. Good night my angel!

Good night my friend. Be ready for tomorrow!

"If you can overcome your pain,

    It will become your strength!"

Day 2: The Wine gallery, The Wild Animal Park and the Mountain road:

I woke up when the sunlight shine through our window. I walk out and see something I never have seen before. It was the beauty of the sky and the ocean. Wow! It’s so special in the morning when everything is bright and shine. The sun breaks the dark cloud and gives light to the world. The light is so shiny and colorful; it gives the life to everything below. The ocean was sparkling with sun light. From where I stand the ocean seem to be endless. For a moment I forget the pain I had and my sadness is gone. What a beautiful morning, I give it a smile then take a deep breath, I feel full of energy. I stretch myself out because after my first night sleep in the car it makes me feel like a shrimp. Now I’m ready to go on, I look into the map to see how we can get to the zoo. I ask my son if he is ready but it seems like he was still sleeping. We continue on the 5 south to San Diego. I make a stop at the first rest area so we can wash up. After that, we look for a gas station to get some food and gas. I stop at a Mexican restaurant. The food is not great, but cheap just $5 for a breakfast combo. Then we go to the supermarket next door. We will need some more food on the road. I buy 4 cup of noodle, a bag of cook salmon, a bag of pork crackling and some water. I try to look for a better map but they don’t have it there so my total here is 6.86 dollars, that’s good. After that we drive to a gas station to get a full tank of gas. There I had a chance to ask a couple who pump their gas next to me Do you know how we can get to the Wild Animal Park from here.

Oh yeah, let me show you how to get there. It’s not that far from here. The Lady said as she turns around to get a pen and write it down on a piece of paper to show us how to get to the Wild Animal Park.

"Great! Thank you and have a nice day!

Oh! One more question, do you know where the closest US Bank around here is?"

There is one not far from here you can go straight and turn left into the shopping center, the Bank is in Albertson supermarket she said

I say thanks to them again then drive to the bank. I thought about getting all of my money out of the bank. I get there at 9:30, half hour early so I look around and find my new map the Atlas 2007 and a long coat for only 29.99 dollars; I think
