To my parent Keisha Seals and George Jackson Sr. for their unfounded belief in our dreams, my sisters LaTeashea Jackson-McNair and LaKeisha Doyle for their inspiration and their feedback. What Is Right What Is Wrong?

I am so confused; mom screams and shouts while dad storms out the door. This is something they always do, if I was to scream and shout like my mom; or storm out like my dad to get what I want they tell me, I am wrong. So what they do is supposed to be right, when I am simply following them.

What is right what is wrong?

When I lie to keep myself in my comfort zone, my dad tells me that it is wrong to lie; but, when I catch him in a lie time after time, he always say it’s right. I am so confused because my mom and dad say a lie is a lie.

What is right what is wrong?

I am clueless, when I watch my mom huff and puff; till my dad gives her what she wants. When I huff and puff they tell me that I am wrong, even going as far as a spank or two.

What is right what is wrong?

I always seem to be wrong and my parent’s wrongs always seem to be right. I am so confused what is right and what is wrong, when I am being told I’m wrong.
