I have been blessed with a wonderful family and some amazing friends. I want to thank my family and my friend for their support. I also want to say a special thanks to Ameesha for being there and helping me proofread my books and to James for helping in editing, hearing all my crazy story and for much more. Life can be hard sometime and trying to reach for your goals can seem impossible but never give up because life is what you make of it and learning to get past the hard time is the real lesson in life not the goal you are trying to reach. Do not ever be afraid of falling or making mistake just get up and keep going because those are lesson that teaches us how to grow.
Part 1
Trapped by Love & Lust
Chapter 13
Moon loved to look at the moon when it was full. She would sit in her car sometimes when she got home thinking about everything that has happen in her life. Wondering what her purpose was.
She would sit there confused because there were times she did not know what she wanted. She was hurt and angry with Eric she did not know how to forgive him for leaving her. She did not know how to let him go. It made her wonder if she was capable of feeling love, again.
Moon felt lost thinking how could love hurt her, when love is not pain.
Love is the most beautiful gift god made us feel.
Yet, at the same time cause us so much pain.
Love could never be wrong, for it could never be right either.
It leads your life. It could make you believe what tomorrow could bring, when today doesn’t really matter.
For love had Moon sitting alone thinking things until it hurt.
Moon thought that just when love found its way back to her and that time had set her free from those memories of Eric, they would haunt her again.
Struggling with the memory of Eric. She wondered if time would set her free to love Zack they way he should be loved. However, Moon knew, only Eric could fill that empty space inside.
Moon tried to make the best of it alone she tried anything to ease the pain.
Was it really over with Eric, or could she forgive him and to try to work things out.
Gazing at the moon, she would cry, Oh mom why did you leave me when I need you the most?
Asking to help her find her way back.
Zack help Moon fill the holes in her heart, but she wonder if it was enough.
Confused with so many feelings she could not think.
Chapter 14
Time started taking its toll, and the more it did the more Moon was confused.
The more she thought of Eric, the more she felt she needed him. Yet, she was still unsure if they could fix what was broken. Like glass, it cut deep in her soul.
And then there was Zack. She loved Zack and knew he loved her too. There was something about Zack that pulled her towards him, something she just could not pinpoint what it was and that just confused her more.
Zack on the other hand, was scared because he found in Moon what he had been looking for in his life, since his wife had died. He was scared because a part of him felt he might lose Moon to Eric. That worried Zack because he wanted to marry her and felt she was all he had. All he could do was love her and hope that would be enough to erase Eric from her heart. He felt his world had fallen apart when Moon told him that she loved him but she needed space. They could only be friends right now.
Moon knew Zack was a good man; sweet and caring. Yet, she could not give him that love he desired. It hurt her to let him go. Moon stood by herself. She had strong feelings for Eric and Zack, and felt torn. She just needed space to figure everything out. Moon needed to find herself again.
Moon looked for love all her life, but little did she know she had it in front of her all long. It was Eric. Moon did not know how to fix it or if it even could be fixed. However, one thing Moon knew was that even if they never work thing out, she could not see life without him in, it did not matter how he was in it as long as he was. When Eric left Moon, he took her heart and soul with him.
The Darkness before the Dawn
Chapter 1
Moon stood by herself. Too confused in what she wanted and what she was feeling.
To her surprise, she was happy by herself, with no guys in her life. It gave her time to think and get all of her feelings together. Moon realizes that Eric was that love she had been looking for. But was it too late? On the other hand, can it be saved?
Eric loved Moon so much that it killed him every time he saw her. He knew Moon better than anyone ever could. Eric did not have any space in his heart to love anyone else. Although he did try but Moon’s loved haunted him all the time. He wondered if he could fix things. He wanted to so bad, but he knew Moon was still stuck on why he left her.
Moon had a lot of regret about things she did in her life, but Moon knew she could not change any of it. All she could do was keep moving on. Moon saw a lot of darkness in her life, which made her cry. But somehow she always seemed to find a little bit of light to go on.
Moon knew that she made all of the dreams come true. Moon has a good job she bought a house, had a nice car. Even though her mom was not there to see it, Moon knew in her heart she was proud of her.
Moon even knew her mom was proud and happy she was taking care of her disabled sister, Jesse. When her mother, Alicia died her aunt Aleida was Jesse’s caretaker until her health issues got worse. The day came that Moon brought Jesse home it was challenging, looking for all the things that her sister needed. But she did.
Determined, Moon made Jesse a home, with all that she needed. There were times that were stressful, holding a job, raising her children, and now Jesse. However, Moon was always stubborn she never gave up without a fight when things needed to be done.
There were times Moon would cry to her mother and pray,
Mom please help me for I falling and I can’t hold on.
Although, Moon would always find just enough strength to keep going, she missed her mom so much that the pain and sadness in her heart was sometime too much for Moon to bear. Moon,
