My brilliant LITTLE SISTER

My sister Lucy and I were inseparable as children, teenagers and adults. Although I was two years older, I still looked up to Lucy. She was inquisitive and adventurous, brave and funny. When I was six, we were eating crisps in a country pub garden while our parents, Jackie and Alan, had a drink. Lucy was running after some chickens when suddenly a cockerel landed on her head. I’d have been scared, but Lucy found it hilarious. I loved her fearlessness. We were more than sisters, we were friends too.
