PART I
All Eyes On Me
Him
Inside these carefully guarded walls,
Made of the strongest fibers known,
Deep within the darkest chamber,
He exists,
Laughing and playing,
Unaware of the screaming,
And the anguish,
Barriers of brainwaves,
Ensuring his wide brown eyes,
Continue to dance,
Laughter personified,
With every gesture,
His tiny fragile body makes,
His joy is his blanket,
The Goddess cradles him in her arms,
Without ever physically touching him,
He knows all there is to know,
Lies in the fact that he knows nothing at all,
He does not recognize the salt taste of streaming tears,
He has no concept of life lasting scars,
All he knows is that he is,
And that he is loved.
Swallowing Water
Words escape me.
Even with so much to say,
Poetry pleading to exist,
Memories at the tip of my tongue,
Fail to reach my pencil tip.
Emotions splashed,
Lost in an ocean of brain waves,
Words wanting to be saved,
From being lost at sea,
Swept away in the currents,
Like the soul who tries to utter them.
Tragando El Agua
Palabras me escapan,
Incluso con tanto de decir,
Poesía que aboga para existir,
Memorias trabadas en la lengua fallan llegar al lápiz,
Emociones salpicadas,
Perdido en un océano de ondas cerebrales,
Palabras que quieren ser rescatadas,
De ser perdido en el mar,
Peleando contra las corrientes,
Como el alma que intenta pronunciarlas.
Amalgam Nation
The eyes are not a simple brown,
Look closer.
Note the touch of honey sickle,
That sorrounds dark pupils,
Crimson hairs that highlight the ebony,
On
