Opening prayer

Confess

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving kindness; according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Psalm 51:1.

First thing confess.

While my thoughts were being formed my pen was hurriedly writing, I paused and ask this question: Lord, what has this pen done; His response, Fallen into the hands of a ready writer.

Honest testimony has set many captives free, but not without a cost to me, there were many nights I shed tears that no one could see or hear. I am grateful for hearts that will open wide at the cost of those tears I cried. God, to you belong all the glory, for blessing my life and giving me the courage to tell my stories, amen.

Warn Them

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word of my mouth, and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou gives’ him not warning, nor speaks to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Again, when a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. Ezekiel 3:20-21

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears. And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, thus said the Lord God; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear. Introduction

Abba Father spoke to me one day with regard to writing for him. My initial thought, how can I give something I don’t have: He responded, you do have it, I asked what? He said the courage to write about the things you have witnessed.
