    INTRODUCTION

This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you: in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance: That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts. And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: (II Peter 3:1-6)

The Genesis account gives us two accurate and truthful accounts (The Creation and Noah’s World-wide Flood) that will be denied by scoffers in these last days. The book of Genesis also called The First Book of Moses Called Genesis is a book of beginnings. It is a book that gives the foundation for the other 65 books comprised of the Holy Bible called the King James Authorized Version 1611. To mock and scoff at this Book mocks and scoffs at the One who gave Moses the Words to put in this important Book. His name is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Many scoffers in these last days of the Church age call the Book of Genesis a myth or fable. They believe the universe and the Earth were produced by chance out of chaos through a evolutionary process that took billions of years to complete. They have many theories to how this came about. In Colossians 2:8 the Scripture states, Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

    THEORIES, THEORIES, THEORIES,

    AND MORE THEORIES???

Here is a few theories that man has come up with about how the universe came about billions of years ago.

    THE BIG BANG

The lost stumble over the first book of our King James Version Holy Bible: THE FIRST BOOK OF MOSES CALLED GENESIS. Even Jesus said in John 5:46-47, For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? With that Scripture lets go to the book of Genesis and start clearing up misconceptions with the Word of God.

Evolutionists and the public school education system teach that the universe was created by the Big Bang. They cannot get pass the Scripture in Genesis 1:1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. They say that the so called Big Bang occurred about 15 billion years ago. They say the universe was created in an enormous explosion when a piece of matter no bigger than an atom exploded to create what we have today. They say our universe was created from chaos to order. What ridiculous rhetoric!

Did you know the term Big Bang was coined by Sir Fred Hoyle, a British astronomer. Here is quote from SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE by International Masters Publishers, In the 1950s, British astronomer Sir Fred Hoyle claimed that the universe has always existed and would exist much the same as it is today. To ridicule the idea that it had been created in catastrophic explosion, he called it the Big Bang theory. Although he was being sarcastic, the name stuck.

John 1:1-3 says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

In Colossians 1:15-17 also talks about Jesus Christ as Creator. Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in the earth visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Hebrews 41:3 says, Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Our God is not a God of confusion (chaos) (I Corinthians 14:33). But a God of order (I Corinthians 14:40).

As for the Big Bang there is going to be one when God destroys and recreates a new heavens and a new earth at the end of the Millennial (thousand year) reign of Jesus Christ on Earth. II Peter 3:10-13 says, But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Read also Revelation 20:11-15 and Revelation 21:1.

The universe was born in an enormous explosion, called the Big Bang, about 15 billion years ago, and its fallout created not only mass and energy but also space and time. From a tiny, fantastically hot seed, the universe swelled and cooled. For hundreds of thousands of years, matter consisted of a seething mass of superheated subatomic particles, buffeted by high-energy radiation. Today’s universe is cold and quiet by comparison, but at its edge astronomers can still detect the faint glow of its fiery birth—and with it, the beginning of time.

    NEBULAR THEORY

HOW THE SOLAR SYSTEM BEGAN: A Nebular Theory

    missing image file

Monistic Theories are based on the belief that the solar system was formed from a single flat cloud of gas. According to some monistic theories, all parts of the solar system were formed from the gas at the same time. Other monistic theories suggest that the sun was formed first, and the planets and other objects came later from the remaining gas. The first monistic theory was proposed in the early 1600’s by the French scientist and philosopher René Descartes. In the late 1700’s, Pierre Simon de Laplace, also of France, suggested the monistic theory called the nebular hypothesis.

Our solar system began life as a great cloud of gas and dust which, around 5 billion years ago, began to collapse in on itself under the force of its own gravity. As the cloud shrank, it started to spin and flatten out into a disk. Eventually, the center began to heat up as the particles of gas and dust smashed into each other, forming the star we know as our Sun. The rest of the material went on to form the planets, moons, asteroids, comets and other debris that make up the solar system.

    PLANETESIMAL THEORY

In 1905, Thomas Chamberlin, an American geologist, and Forest Moulton, an American astronomer, proposed the planetesimal theory. According to this theory, a rapidly moving star passed close to the sun but did not collide with it. The gravity of the passing star pulled long, threadlike arms of gas from
