    PART I

    CHAPTER 1:

THE PREAMBLE OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION

John introduces Jesus to the church world in the first chapter of the book of Revelation. The one major piece of information we need to understand is this: John did not initiate the book from the beginning. The book of Revelation is a continuation of the Pauline Revelation, which is Christ in you the hope of glory. It is the hope of glory of man that is brought forth through God’s great plan of redemption. As Jesus takes His place in the throne of his Father, He invites man to share His throne with Him after man has been redeemed. Redemption is the key to resurrection, and without redemption no man shall see God.

John reveals the Pauline Revelation in ways no man has ever conceived, so that man may receive his eternal life. But John’s book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is the continuation of Paul’s teaching of Colossians on Christ in you the hope of glory. Man needs to understand his redemption. Yes, even the path of our redemption is written in this book of the Revelation of Christ Jesus to the heart of man.

A preamble is an overview of what the book contains. It does not offer a lot of details, but it lays a foundation for the balance of the book. John was given this vision concerning the redemption of man, and he wrote that which Jesus told him to write down. That which he did write has value to every man who is in redemption, for the book of Revelation tells us things in a way the other books of the Bible do not. The information and the revelation are present elsewhere, but never so eloquently stated as in the book of Revelation. John gives a step-by-step discourse on how God redeems his man, leaving nothing to the imagination. If you have a question, John has an answer hidden for you. If you seek to know truth, Jesus said, There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed.

ATTAINING SIN-LESS-NESS IS THE GOAL OF GOD FOR ALL MANKIND: THE IMAGE OF JESUS

God does all his work in grace, and God says He shall perfect mankind. Therefore it is God who does this work, not man. Man should not attempt to understand the work of grace in Christ and reason it out with his carnal mind. The carnal mind creates enmity between himself and his God, and man always loses the battle when that happens. Man’s only responsibility is to believe that which God says in His word. Every man must follow the way of Jesus into the Kingdom of God if he desires to possess eternal life. The way is given man in this book. Jesus said this in Rev. 22:14, Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they might have right to the Tree of Life and may enter through the gates into the city. Herein is the key to the wisdom of God: Keep the commandments and live.

JESUS AS A VIRGIN BIRTH OUT OF A SINNER WOMAN CALLED MARY

Mary was a virgin woman, but Jesus was a virgin birth. There is a difference between the two thoughts when it comes to redemption. Our salvation is premised upon the virgin birth of Jesus and not Mary being a virgin. Jesus had no earthly father; he had the Father God as His Father and was not defiled by woman. The seed of the woman was not used in the birth of Jesus.

Yes, Mary was a virgin, but she was also a sinner woman. It is also a fact that had God used the seed of the woman, Jesus would have been born a sinner, as all mankind is born a sinner. Jesus set the example for man to follow. As well as being born the Son of God, Jesus was and is and always shall be the sinless Son of God. He went through life as a man filled with the Holy Ghost and never once sinned. He had to do that to be the offering God had chosen to make amends for the sin of the world. He accomplished that in his person for all mankind.

It is not the fact that Jesus was born of a virgin that makes him so great; it is the fact that Jesus was a virgin birth of a virgin woman that makes his birth so great. Mary was only a surrogate mother for God, for she carried Jesus to term in her body and raised Him from a child. That becomes very important when it comes to understanding how redemption is carried out in man by the Father and the Lamb. It aids our understanding of the mystery of godliness and how God redeems His man and places man in his body of redeemed people.

THE SEED OF THE WOMAN IS HOW INIQUITY ENTERS AND REMAINS IN MAN

When Satan fell he was no longer used by the Father to accuse the brethren; Satan became the tempter of the brethren. It is his job to tempt you and try to make you fall into Sin until you overcome Sin. Genesis 3:15—The enmity between Satan and the woman exists, and God placed it there. It shall bruise your head speaking of man. Because of that fact, man is born with a mind darkened through spiritual death that needs to be renewed. It hinders Satan’s ability to tempt man because it is through man’s renewed mind that he overcomes temptation. It is through God’s great plan of redemption that man overcomes all of Satan’s temptation and is transformed into the image of Jesus, which is the goal of our God and Father. The book of Revelation calls this act of God the third part of man that has to be killed or to die (Revelation 9:18).

So: Jesus had a surrogate mother in Mary, and the Father sowed His seed of life in her womb to give Jesus a body of flesh to live in while he ministered in the earth. The Father did this so He could redeem all mankind that keep His commandments and possess his testimony. Revelation 1:18—I was dead, but behold, I am alive forevermore and possess the keys to death and hell.

WHEN THE ACCUSER FELL HE BECAME THE TEMPTER

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. How does that work? You resist the devil by overcoming temptation. After you overcome the temptation, he has no power over you. Chapter 12 of Revelation tells the whole story of redemption. It even gives man the end result of his redemption and how to win the victory over Satan. Man’s victory over Satan is given in Verse 11. When man understands the way of victory, man can better understand the battle he wages and who it is he is fighting, as well as why he is fighting.

Satan was cast out of heaven, and when the woman was with child, his first assignment was to devour the child of the woman. We need to know and understand who this woman is and who and what this child is. We know this much: The woman is not Mary, and the child is not Jesus. But just who is she? And just who is this child, and what is his purpose for his being pained to be delivered? Why does Satan desire to devour this child? This child must be very important to receive all this attention! moreover, why does this woman have to be nourished from the face of the serpent, as she is in Verse 14 of this chapter?

MARY WAS A SURROGATE WOMAN FOR GOD, AND THIS WOMAN OF CHAPTER 12 IS A SURROGATE WOMAN FOR GOD ALSO

For what reason is this woman to be a surrogate woman for a divine purpose? Jesus was the divine purpose of God for Mary, but just who is this woman? She is a corporate woman made up of many people called the Bride of Christ, but she is also a sinner woman. She is called a whore that sits upon many waters in Chapter 17, so there is no doubt about her being a Sinner woman.

However, we are embarking on a mission of understanding godliness as God intends us to understand godliness pertaining to man (1st Timothy 3:16). Because this book of the Revelation is intent on man becoming a godly, holy, righteous person, it gives man the order of the day for man to accomplish that in his life in earth. Here, in this earth, is where redemption takes place. Today is the day of salvation. Today is the day of grace. It is not in any way after we leave this earth, or after we leave this life behind by way of physical death. Redemption is for those who are clearly committed to the will, plan, and purpose of God in this earth today.

The woman with child is the future Bride of Christ, and the child she is pained to deliver is the future Body of Christ. This child is a man child who needs to be delivered, and he shall be delivered in the wilderness after the woman flees into a place prepared for her by God where she will be nourished from the face of the serpent for a time and a times and a half time.

THE CHILD OF THE WOMAN IS THE INFANT STAGE OF THE BODY OF CHRIST

As Mary gave birth to a sinless child, so shall this woman give birth to a sinless child, this child shall not be Sinless at birth as Jesus was, but he shall become sinless by redemption. Everything God did in the natural world, He is doing again in the spirit. In the same way Jesus was a virgin birth, so shall this child be a virgin birth.

There is a difference between Christ and His body and Christ and His Bride. Revelation 21:2—His Bride is prepared as a Bride for her husband. All the preparation is done in the wilderness that the woman flees into, to a place prepared for her to be nourished from the face of the serpent for a time and a times and a half time.

It is interesting to note that she is nourished from the face of the serpent. I do not think I have ever heard anybody say anything like that in any church at any time in over seventy years of life in the local church. This child is to become like an eagle, which is a son of God in the image of Christ—sinless, as Christ is sinless—and to become one with Christ as spoken by Him in the Garden of Gethsemane (John 17:22). His body and Christ become one new corporate man. The woman, meanwhile, flees into the wilderness on the two wings of an eagle to be nourished from the face of the serpent.

TO UNDERSTAND THE VIRGIN BIRTH IS TO UNDERSTAND THE NEW BIRTH

Neither the church nor man understands the new birth, nor has man understood the virgin birth of Jesus. If man does not understand the virgin birth, he cannot understand the new birth. It is impossible because the new birth is a virgin birth also, fathered only by the seed of the Father, and not defiled by the seed of the woman nor by woman (Revelation 14:4).

All of the 144,000 Jews are virgin births. They say they are Jews, and they are Jews. To be a Jew in this dispensation, man has to be a virgin-birthed Jew—otherwise he is not a Jew according to Jesus Christ in the first three chapters of this book of Revelation. A Jew is a born-again Jew, or he is not a Jew. It is as simple as that. The Nation of Israel is not God’s chosen people today; the body and Bride of Christ are God’s chosen people today. That is a scriptural truth we need to understand.

A virgin birth is a child fathered by the Father God, by a seed sown in the heart of the natural life of the child. The child of the woman is fathered by the Father God. After he is born and after the seed of life is sown, the woman goes into the wilderness. The wilderness experience makes a virgin birth possible through redemption. It is the experience of life out of death to self.

    CHAPTER 2:

    PAUL’S REVELATION VERSUS JOHN’S REVELATION

Paul’s revelation brings man to the brink of eternal life; John’s revelation takes man into the life Jesus died to give his man. John gives man God’s distinct way to receive his life from the Spirit of God. John’s great plan of Redemption (which is God’s great plan) gives man step-by-step instructions to receive his eternal life. It tells you the whats, wherefores, and all the whys of life out of death, as well as the reason and purpose for life out of death.

How exactly does God produce life out of death in man? As we approach this book, we need to open our hearts to receive that which God has set aside for his man. People need to read and understand God’s word for themselves and not simply take another man’s word for what the Bible teaches.

Paul’s revelation gives man the general way of redemption with Christ in you the hope of Glory. In the confines of his major writings of Colossians, Ephesians, and Philippians, Paul’s writings are somewhat vague. They are not deep enough for many people, especially those who search the scriptures for truth. Most men do not possess the commitment to search the Scriptures for their own life, which can sometimes present problems for many people of the Word who really do not possess life.

CHAPTER ONE OF THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS

In Chapter one, John introduces Jesus as the Almighty God, born into the family of man through a sinless virgin birth, fathered by the Father God without the defilement of woman. In doing so, set the example for all mankind to be offered the blessing of eternal resurrection life by the same way Jesus received His life from a child born in a manger.

To receive his position as head of a body of believers called the body of Christ, to live in a place called glory, free of all circumstances and conditions which are faced by every man born into this world, Jesus had to overcome all the same forces that we, as men, have to overcome. He did it without Sin. We must do it with the Sin we are born with, so that we may be set free of the sin that controls us as mere men. Jesus never stepped into his deity to do any type of miracle. He did everything he did as a man filled with the Holy Ghost. He set an example for us to follow, and He gives us all the explanations and examples we need in His Word.

WITHOUT A VIRGIN BIRTH THERE CAN BE NO RESURRECTION

A physical resurrection is a resurrection from those dead physically, and a spiritual resurrection is a resurrection from those dead spiritually. For those who are dead in their Sins, the only way out of this death is to allow this spiritual death to die. The seed of this new life begins its resurrection from the death of the sin you were born into by reason of your natural birth, All have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). It is out of this death we must resurrect to receive life. A virgin birth is controlled by a death to your self. Self has to die before the seed of life can grow, and God has a plan to make you die to yourself in Chapter 9 of this book of Revelation.

THE VIRGIN BIRTH IS THE SHROUD THAT WRAPS AROUND ALL THE SCRIPTURES

The virgin birth is the least understood of all of God’s acts towards man’s redemption. In Chapter 2 we read that Jesus had something against all of the seven churches in Asia Minor because all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. None of these churches dealt with the iniquity they had within them, and he was the reason and the purpose that he had come into this world. 7 is God’s number of completion and perfection in all he does. All of our Sins are blotted out by the blood of Jesus, so outward sins are not what are talked about in these Scriptures. Iniquity is the sinful base of our nature that we are born with; it is the nature of the seed of the woman that has to die.

THE SOLUTION GIVEN FOR ALL MANKIND

In Chapter 3, we read that Jesus gives the answer to all of man’s problems and qualifies the outcome for all that are faithful to his call and complete his redemptive work to the end. In Chapter 4, John gets called up to heaven and sees all of God’s great redemptive team. In Chapter 5, John gets a view of a little book which is the Lamb’s Book of life. It is a little book because many are called but few are chosen to be the elect of God. This little book is very unique in that it is sealed on the back. There are seven seals that must be opened in your life. That means you have to go through whatever is behind each seal before it may be opened in you.

THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA: THE BEGINNING AND THE END

Jesus began this great plan of redemption as a seed which became a child, and Jesus ends His great plan of redemption with a seed come to fruition as another man in his image. That is what redemption is all about: sowing and reaping. It is not money that we sow and reap. It is life we sow, and it is life we reap. We sow the old life and reap in the new life. This is how God creates something out of nothing. Where there was no new man, a new man now stands in the image of the Christ of God. And it all begins as a seed of life. This seed stands alone until Jesus applies his faith to it. He ever lives to make intercession for us as he upholds all things by the word of his power that is redemption.

CHRIST AS THE ALL IN ALL

Christ is all, and Christ is in all. We are in Christ, and Christ is in us. And so Christ is the all in all. The new creation began as one seed, and that seed was Christ. Now there stand many Christs where only one Christ once stood. Christ as the Tree of Life sows many seeds to produce many Christs in His image (Romans 8:28-32). And it all begins as a seed off the Tree of Life sown in the heart of another man as a virgin birth, and reaped as another man in the image of Christ. That is what redemption does in the Kingdom of God. It multiplies and never dies. Jesus said this: Whosoever believes in me as the scripture sayeth shall never die. His seed is eternal.

THE VIRGIN BIRTH IS A SEED MULTIPLIED

God does not need a woman to produce sinless men in the earth. He is God, and He does as He pleases—and man watches. Man does not understand the ways of God. That is why man needs faith to stand in the presence of God. His presence overwhelms man’s mind because it cannot fathom the depths of God’s ways until man receives the mind of Christ. That comes only with redemption and a sinless life. Until man receives the mind of Christ, man is helpless towards the things of God and blind to His Word. The third part of man is his natural mind, and a Sinful self cannot communicate with the ways of God.

The four beasts and/or living creatures around the throne, who are they? And what do they mean? (Revelations 4:17). They represent the four stages or levels of redemption. The first two are representative of the work Jesus did. The first stage is a lion. Jesus was the lion of the tribe of Judah. The second is a calf or bullock. Jesus was the bullock offered upon the altar of sacrifice for the Sin of the world. The third beast has the face of a man. Jesus did all of this as a man. The fourth is as an eagle. Jesus laid His sinless self upon the altar of sacrifice as a man, died and rose again by the power of the Spirit of God in his wings. As an eagle, Jesus set the example for all of us to deal with the sin of self through death to self and a resurrection in the likeness of an eagle, to soar on the winds of the Holy Spirit.

COME AND SEE IS THE COMMAND

As each seal is opened, the command is Come and See. And how do you see? by revelation from Christ, the light of the World. As each seal is opened, it is seen in the light of revelation, making it yours as it does its work. It transforms you ito the image of Jesus. Your image is a sinless image which gives you power in the Kingdom of God. It is His life of light that changes you internally into His image (John 1:4). In Him was life, and that life was the light of man. Man needs that life to be transformed into His image. It is all set together with the living water of life that flows from under the throne. That throne is what we seek for holiness and righteousness.

THE LITTLE BOOK SEALED ON THE BACK

The book of Revelation shows us how to get our names written in the Lamb’s Book of life. This book is sealed with seven seals, and it is sealed on the back of the book. That means that you must not only know what the seal means, but you must open it by doing what it calls you to do. Only Jesus can open the seals on the book, and He does this with light called revelation on the Word of God. That is what builds Christ in you and starts you on the road to becoming in His image. The light changes you on the inside into His image.

These seals are opened with light called revelation; this is also the way he talks to you. It is light on his Word, called the living Word of God. Jesus placed life on His Word when He resurrected from the dead, just as He placed life in everything He uses in redemption, including himself. He becomes the Living Word of God. That is all part of His resurrection, and that is what causes life to come to you on the inside of you. Ephesians 1:16-17—So you can know the hope of your calling and His riches in His inheritance in His saints. Blessed is he that keeps His commandments that he might have right to the Tree of Life.

    CHAPTER 3:

    WHAT IS A TRUE JEW?

Jesus said in Revelation 3:9, concerning the synagogue of Satan. They say they are Jews and are not. I will make them come and worship at your feet. The new Jews of the new creation are the born again ones that have their redemption in their possession and possess the life of Christ and the mind of Christ. That is a biblical Jew according to the word of the Lord Jesus. In this chapter we deal with the 144,000 and their sealing in their foreheads: which is the renewing of their minds unto the mind of Christ (Romans 12:1-3). These Jews came up out of the great Tribulation during the age of grace, so they are the truly born of the Spirit of God. They have walked out their redemption and have become the first fruits unto their God.

The sealing of these Jews with the Holy Spirit of promise is according to Ephesians 1:13. This, of course, is after their redemption is made complete. They are sealed unto the day of their redemption. They have resurrected with Jesus from amongst the dead and are made complete by the Lord Jesus as the spirit of truth. They possess his resurrection life. The natural Jew is not God’s chosen people; the Body of Christ and His Bride are God’s chosen people, and they are on their way to becoming the one new corporate man called Christ His body and His Bride.

This woman of Chapter 12 is the Bride of Christ in her infancy, on her way to becoming the New Jerusalem, which is also called the Bride of Christ. (Revelation 21:2). A lot happens between now and the time she actually takes her place as the Bride of Christ. She has to go through redemption to become the Bride of Christ, and for her, which is a few years—possibly as many as forty years—of a process called cleansing and maturing into the image of Christ. She must become sinless by nature and full of the fullness of Christ Jesus our Lord. When redemption has accomplished this feat, she shall receive her new birth and be set in His body as His Bride of His body and become a true Jew by nature of the new birth.

THE SEALS ARE OPENED. WHAT THEN?

The Seals are opened by the light of the World called Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and His knowledge becomes your knowledge through this light called revelation. The eyes of your understanding are lightened with His light, and your first thought is the call on your life. You simply know what the hope of your calling is, and you begin to understand what His inheritance is in you. You become more like Him as you grow from glory to glory. It is His Glory that has become your glory because of His life in you.

THE SEVEN SEALS AND THE SEVEN

    TRUMPETS CALLED PROCLAMATIONS.

JESUS RELEASES HIS FAITH TOWARDS YOU.

It is my pleasure to give you the Kingdom, said the Lord Jesus. Everything Jesus does, He does by faith through the spoken word mixed with His faith. The Word goes forth after each seal is opened until you are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. Keep in mind; this is all the work of God the Holy Spirit. We are his garden and not our own. These seals set you free; they release you from all the bondages of this life. And whom the Son sets free is free indeed. The Son sets you free to become another son, transformed into his image through or by the light of the World called Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is the bright and morning star, and the great I am. He is the great I am because He is sinless. He is transforming you into another Sinless I am. Not the great I am, but a Sinless I am.

God has plans for his man. They are good plans and beyond the imagination of the average natural man. God’s greatest plan for His man is to transform him into the image of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who is a sinless man with the power of God within him.

COME AND SEE FOLLOWS THE OPENING OF EACH SEAL

Come and see is a commandment, not a request. When youcome, you shall see —that is a promise of God given you. But when you do come, come with an open heart and a desire to see, as well as a desire to make change in your life. Allow God to open the eyes of your understanding so you may know. Do not bring your personal doctrine with you; leave that at home and come alone with an open heart to receive life for your spiritual death. Give yourself to the Light of the World called Jesus, The Christ of God.

To come is a commandment of God. If you do not come, you shall never see, but if you do come, you shall see. It is that simple, and it is your choice to make!

SOME OF THE METHODS GOD USES TO TRANSFORM MAN

In Chapter 9, there are the locusts that look like scorpions with stingers in their tails. You are to be tormented for five months—tormented by grace for five months. Five is the number God uses to initiate grace in every man’s life. God allows you to be tormented with temptation until you are free from all the temptation that comes with your natural life. Jesus calls this suffering. He calls it your Cross of suffering. It is a real thing and not a figment of your imagination. It is a real suffering, given man to set him free and it works. These locusts are real people that are set in your life to aid in transforming you into the image of Jesus, and they know their job very well. Jesus calls them tares.

BABYLON, LIKE THE KINGDOM, IS MADE OF PEOPLE WITH THE INTENT OF HEART

God allowed Babylon to be created to transform men into the image of Jesus. Babylon has a purpose in the lives of men, and God has set men in the city of Babylon for the same purpose. Chapter 9 speaks of Babylon even though it is not mentioned by name. Babylon is a system of living or works set before man to bring him to the saving power of grace.

Babylon is a city of sin. Man is a sinner filled with iniquity. And as sin wars against sin, the sin in man dies. This sin is called iniquity. It is given man through the seed of the woman, and for man to become a virgin, this sin or self has to die. This death releases life in a man because resurrection life is a sinless life. When the sin of iniquity dies, life is released in man and he is set free.

The sin in man is called iniquity, and iniquity is called self. When the self dies, iniquity dies also, and man is set free from his self. Man learns to live by the life that comes with a sin-free life. If you are free from the sin of iniquity, you are free to live. Iniquity manifests as temptation.

    WHAT IS TEMPTATION?

Temptation is the sin of iniquity; it has no name. If we could place a name on it, it would be desire—a desire to satisfy self or a desire to satisfy the flesh, desire to keep you from the will of God in any areas of man’s life, from overeating to over-indulgence in sex. There is nothing wrong with sex, but there is something wrong with possessing multiple sex partners. There’s nothing wrong with food unless you weigh over 400 pounds. Desire plays a very large part in man’s life. Life is full of temptation, and the temptation is always to sin. It is always a result of man giving to his temptation and falling into Sin. Self is the author of the temptation, so self has to die to be free.

INIQUITY IS A DESIRE TO LIVE OUTSIDE OF ANY LAW OF THE NATURAL ORDER OF THINGS

Breaking the speed limit is a form of iniquity. It is a temptation to do whatever the self desires. Unrestricted iniquity does not take another man and his feelings into consideration. It intends to hurt and to harm. Stealing from another man is iniquity. It does not take into account the hurt or harm done to another person. This is what Babylon does. It is a system of deception and hurt and theft from another person with the intent of improving the self or making the self look better in the eyes of another man. It is above the realm of what a normal man considers natural. It is selfishness uncontrolled.

CHRIST, HIS BODY, AND HIS BRIDE

The woman in Chapter 12 becomes the Bride of Christ or the New Jerusalem, who comes down from heaven while she is being nourished from the face of the serpent in the wilderness (Revelation 21:2). At the same time, the child of the woman becomes the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is formed out of the born-again ones that come up out of the great tribulation. The 144,000 are the first fruit’s of His body, and they are offered unto God as first fruits. To better understand the book of Revelation, man has to possess God’s Revelation or light on the scriptures. He must be able to separate the different groups of people that exist and need redemption in order to be set in their positions as mature men and women of God who are prepared to do the work in the Kingdom for which they are called. Jesus said, Behold! I come quickly, and my reward is with me to give to every man according as his work shall be. Your work is your call to a finished product as men of God. Your work is to complete His Kingdom and Christ also.

    THE MEASUREMENT OF THE TEMPLE

Keep in mind, the temple is made up of redeemed men out of the world. When you measure the temple, you are actually measuring men prepared to become the temple of God. Therefore the measurement is righteousness and holiness against sin in the heart, soul, and body of man. Sin-less-ness has a power and a strength that sin can never possess. Man needs only to find that out so he can repent of his sin and live as God intended. To repent is to quit doing whatever it is you are doing in regard to iniquity.

    THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS EXPLAINED

Mysteries are only mysterious until they are revealed. In this chapter the mystery of godliness is explained to us by John the Beloved. Godliness is sin-less-ness, but it is not without sin completely. Godliness thrives in Sin. Where Sin abounds, grace doth much more abound. And here in God’s man who is a sinner, grace doth much more abound than sin abounds. The Bible says you are what you eat; in this case you are told to eat the Word of God. We are told that it will be sweet as honey in your mouth, but it will be bitter in your stomach. Nonetheless we are told to eat it. The Word of God is faith, and we receive everything we possess from God by faith.

It is sweet as honey in your mouth, but when it hits your spirit man in your belly, the responsibility of becoming all the Word of God says you may become makes your stomach bitter. You find out there is a price to pay to become a disciple of the Lord Jesus, and it is a hard demand to meet. This is the mystery of godliness. God was justified in the spirit. Jesus was justified through His death, as all of us must be to follow Him in His death so as to resurrect with Him.
