About this ebook

This book is not fiction. it is based on relationship between grannies and their grandchildren. At times grandchildren can confide in their grannies instead of their parents. Children learn more of what grannies did when they were young and that can be compared to present day happenings, and learn more of the family history right from the grannies. Grannies always pamper their grandchildren. Conversation is always flowing between grannies and their grandchildren. Grandchildren always relax either with their studies or at any games with grannies because their parents could not relax as much because of pressure of work.
This union forges love and knits family together.

I was born in Nigeria by Mr & Mrs Odebiyi and I am the last of four siblings. I was educated in Nigeria and attended Lagos Anglican Girls’ Grammar School. My best subjects in the Grammar School are English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Religious Knowledge, History and Science. BP Nigeria Ltd. employed and trained four of us to be secretaries. I passed 50/100 word a minute in Pitmans typing and shorthand and I attempted 60/120 words a minute. I attended Lagos University and studied to be a Personal Secretary. I rose from personal secretary to Personnel Manager at Cotsgas Nigeria Ltd. - this company used to be called BP Supergas Nigeria Ltd. Finally, went to studied child care at the Montessori Teachers Training College, Kessington, London and passed with “Commended” grade. I established two Children Nurseries “St. Johns Montessori Nursery” Camberwell, London and “Little Jewels Montessori Nursery” Battersea, London. Both nurseries have now folded due to lack of premises to operate as the previous premises were taken over by their owners. I like playing Netball and was captain of the team throughout my years in the Grammar School. Also, I was Games Captain, House captain, and School Prefect. After school hours, I was the commandant of the British Red Cross. At BP Nigeria Ltd., I was made the captain of the NetBall Team without being given the option to either accept the offer or decline and I was jokingly nicknamed ‘captain without trainers’ because I had to give my trainers to a player who forgot hers during a Send Off Party in honor of our departing Managing Director, Mr. Taylor, who was returning to United Kingdom and the photograph was presented to him. I like playing with words. I think I am a good listener and like to get along with people but will not if we are on a different wave length of ideas. I have a son named John who is now a graduate of University of Essex.
