THE SIMPLE SOLUTION IS FOR YOU!

All of us want our children to be born healthy and grow up to be healthy, happy, and loving adults. Unfortunately, not all children are born healthy, or the environment itself may be sick and toxic. The simple, healthy lifestyle and peaceful, mindful silence of the breath discussed in The Simple Solution may help many families with medical and environmental challenges.

People that are born healthy and have a healthy, happy, and loving environment sometimes lose sight of these ideals on life’s journey and their minds are filled with fear, stress, and chaos. Hopefully, these individuals will have a wake-up call as I did in my life to return to the path of being healthy, happy, and loving. I share my long struggle with you in this book.

The loss of a loved one; health issues such as heart attack, diabetes, stroke; the loss of a job, foreclosure on your home or bankruptcy disrupts our lives and gets us off track. Even happy occasions such as marriage, the birth of a child, graduation from college, or a new job can cause worry and stress. If we listen to other people and only care about outside influences, many turn to a life of consumerism which is ruled by greed, ego, attachment, lust, and anger.

If you can relate to any of these issues, THE SIMPLE SOLUTION IS FOR YOU!

The Simple Solution is not just a book—it’s a concept, a movement for all persons of the world to experience the Quality of Life Family and Community Transformation Center and manifest our human rights as healthy, happy, and loving human beings with the tools to become role models for future generations. I believe we all want our children to be born healthy and live their lives as healthy, happy, and loving human beings!

    DISCLAIMER

I am writing this book with my Inner Mind—unconditional love, joy, peace, wisdom, and purity. My life’s purpose is to share my belief that our human rights are to be healthy, happy, and loving human beings.

This book is not a quick-fix, nor is it a multi-step solution to your physical, mental, social, or spiritual problems. You must experience these concepts. The Simple Solution can be manifested only by ourselves, for ourselves. It does not take the place of medical care.

We must guard and protect The Simple Solution movement from any influences of self-gain (greed), self-interest (ego), and the money and power of individual people, corporations, religious organizations, and politicians. We intend to protect the Quality of Life Family and Community Transformation Center and The Simple Solution concept from being corrupted by any and all outside influences.

The Simple Solution may be controversial to all thinkers who believe the brain is who they are and thoughts are power.

    FOREWORD

Let me say, first and foremost, that if I had not devised The Simple Solution for myself, I would not be alive today!

May I say that again? Just so you don’t miss it?

IF NOT FOR MY SIMPLE SOLUTION CONCEPT,

I WOULD NOT BE ALIVE TODAY!

I believe this in my heart and soul. And, I have first-hand experience to validate and support my beliefs. My beloved brother died at only 49 years old, suffering and succumbing to stress and chaos. It was the lowest moment of my life. I had lost my mother, my father, and my idolized brother. How could I go on? Who would help me?

For ten years, I had been following in my older brother’s footsteps. I was following the American Dream. The dream had become a nightmare, and I could see in the mirror that I was on the same toxic path. This was my wake-up call.

I was born in India, surrounded by unconditional love and family. I lived in a Gandhi-inspired Ashram founded by my father. I grew up experiencing the simple wisdom of Mahatma Gandhi. It was all I knew, and I believed it was all there was in the universe.

How had I come so far from my roots and core beliefs? How had I lost my happiness, my health, and my loving nature? But the big question was, How could I return to the simplicity that healed?

Thus, began the research and journey to return to my childhood beliefs. These beliefs, now validated and supported by many years of research, have become the concept for The Simple Solution! It is my passion and my dream. I am humbled by the great people who came before me and those who will come after me. The Simple Solution is a vision for a better tomorrow … not just for me, but for all humanity.

I invite you to read my story, study the concept, and draw your own conclusions. I hope you, too, will become a part of The Simple Solution Movement to save our future from fear, stress, and chaos. This is not an easy task, nor is it a quick-fix. It will take many teachers and even more helpers from all walks of life—each a single soul in a complicated world looking for The Simple Solution to the complex problems that overwhelm our society and environment.

    INTRODUCTION

It is perfectly possible for an individual to adopt this way of life without having to wait for others to do so. And if an individual can observe a certain rule of conduct, it follows that a group of individuals can do likewise. It is necessary for me to emphasize the fact that no one need wait for anyone else in order to adopt a right course. Men generally hesitate to make a beginning if they feel that the objective cannot be had in its entirety. Such an attitude of mind is in reality a bar to progress. ² __ M. K. Gandhi

    Mahatma Gandhi (Sanskrit meaning for

    mahatmaGreat Soul)

Expression: "The ones with a simple easy nature constantly think of solutions instead of problems. Such individuals are free from the burden of problems and are constantly contributing to make things easy for themselves and others, too. The right environment to bring out the best result is naturally created by them." ³ —Expression used by Sister Jenna, Host America Meditating Radio and Dir. Meditation Museum.

The Experience That Led To Me Writing This Book

I knew that I had to do more!

I have been blessed with a simple easy nature. When confronted with a problem, I come to an easy conclusion in seconds. I am not caught up in wasting time with questions and explanations. I enjoy everything that comes my way and move forward with lightness and laughter.

I have been called a sensitive individual, and I know my sensitivity can bring tears and pain as well as joy. A simple easy nature has its down sides, too.

I watched the opening ceremony for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. The transformation of the world from the Agricultural Age through the Industrial Age to the current Electronic Technological/Information Age left a deep and lasting impression upon me.

In the representation of the Agricultural Age, I saw happy families—working hard, yes, but singing, helping each other, and enjoying their community life. I smiled as I thought of my childhood.

Next, I saw the Industrial Age—workers in factories were fearful and unhappy; they weren’t with their families anymore; they were overworked, downtrodden, depressed, and stressed. They believed they were working hard to make things better for their children, but there was no time for their families or their communities.

The Electronic Age with all its time-saving gadgets and instant information was supposed to remedy the problems of the past. People could work from their homes and communities, but the show was too bright, too harsh, and too loud. People couldn’t see themselves, their neighbors, or even who was sitting right next to them. They didn’t care about each other.

I had to turn my eyes away from this garish display. It made me sad and brought back memories of a time in my life when I, too, hadn’t cared about the other people around me, not even those I professed to love.

Although this was just a show, I knew it was an accurate representation of our modern society. We have become so absorbed in the materialistic world that we have forgotten how to be human. Not that I want us to go back to the Agricultural Age, but I do feel we can recapture our humanity.

I have experienced this transformation. It’s the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. I had to get in touch with feelings and values I thought no longer existed. Even with my simple easy nature, I didn’t have any easy answers. The hardest part was recognizing the problem, and it was so easy to remain in denial. You want to think that these problems only happen to other people, not to you, but it’s an epidemic! No one is immune.

In our current world, it’s not so much what you are as what you become. Our education and work life is concentrated on obtaining money, power, and having stuff. The focus is
