About this ebook

The Shared Outside Sales (SOS) system is a proven system and an alternative to a full-time sales job with one company. It allows the salesperson the freedom to sell the kind of products and services he has the most knowledge of or most likes selling. He chooses his own clients and sets his own salary.

The SOS system allows a salesperson to go from employee to company owner without the usual pitfalls of opening a new business. If the salespersons business is built before he leaves his current job, there is no break in income. Job satisfaction and job security are increased, and the pressure associated with generating sales for a single employer is decreased. The SOS system allows the salesperson to work business around his life rather than working his life around business.

There are opportunities for business growth and a substantially increased income. By building relationships with multiple companies and customers, other opportunities may also arise.

GOOD LUCK!

Buck Gladden

Buck Gladden learned to turn a profit through sales at an early age. He wanted a Go Cart when he was 10 years old but could not convince his father to buy it for him. When his father told him he would have to buy the Go Cart himself if he wanted it, he started his first business. Buck refurbished an old chicken coop on his grandfather’s property in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, borrowed the money from his father to purchase 30 chickens and opened an egg supply business. His mother drove him to a local church every other day where he sold all of his eggs to the church’s meal outreach program. This continued until he reached his goal. He paid off the loan from his father, purchased the Go Cart, sold his chickens at a profit and deposited a small “nest egg” in his savings account. Since that time, sales have been a continuing successful part of Buck’s life. Buck honed his sales skills while selling books door to door in the summer of his junior year in college. In doing so, he learned to turn every “no” into a positive, seeing every “no” as one step closer to a “yes”. Buck is married with three grown children and has lived all of his life in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he also attended LSU. Since starting his childhood egg business, he has wholly owned or been a partner in 10 businesses, some simultaneously. Buck is currently the owner and President of several companies; Puerto Rico International, which supplies welders to chemical plants and refineries, Gladco Inc., a real estate company and Gladden Sales, which manufactures and sells safety tags to chemical plants and refineries. Gladden Sales holds the patent for two of Buck’s inventions - “Gladtags”, a tagging system for scaffolds and “Scooterport”, a stand for scooters that can be used as a single scooter stand or snapped together for a series of multiple scooter stands. Gladden Sales opened a subsidiary business, Gladden Sales, Inc.- Publishing Division in 2011, to launch Buck’s first eBook. In 2011 Gladden Sales was recognized as one of the top 100 fastest growing businesses led by a former LSU student. In 2012 Gladden Sales was recognized as the 10th fastest growing business in the LSU 100.

    INTRODUCTION

A salesperson is always looking to maximize his sales potential. However, in this economy a salesperson is more concerned about keeping his job than he is reaching his potential. The sales system you will learn about in this book will allow you to do both, reach your potential and create job security that is economy proof.

The Internet has made researching almost anything possible. Due to that, many eBooks are products of research and not experience. This book comes strictly from my personal experience. I know the system works because I designed and worked it for over 10 years. Furthermore, my income grew four fold in 3 years.

The system is simple and the plan is easy. An easy step-by-step process addressing both the system and the plan to implement it is laid out for you. When you have finished the book, my goal is that you will have a new opportunity open to you and a path laid out to get there.

    To make it
