To my three wonderful Sons and their Dad. Thank you.

"Our true home is the present moment.

To live in the present moment is a miracle.

The miracle is not to walk on water.

The miracle is to walk on the green Earth in the present moment,

To appreciate the peace and beauty that are available now.

    Peace is all around us—

In the world and in nature—

    And within us—

In our bodies and our spirits.

Once we learn to touch this peace, we will be healed and transformed.

    It is not a matter of faith;

It is a matter of practice.

We need only to find ways to bring our body and mind back to the present moment

So we can touch what is refreshing, healing and wondrous."

    Preface

The information in this guidebook has been revealed to me throughout my life. But in 2006, I was guided to begin writing this.

I remember as a child going almost daily to the meadow (which fortunately was right across the street from my house), climbing trees and rocks, gazing at the clouds, talking with God and angels, and feeling comforted by nature’s embrace.

Growing up had its difficulties, but somehow I had an awareness that I was not alone. There have been many times in my life when I felt lonely, but deep within me, there has been the knowledge that I am supported by unseen energy and love, and when I forget, something always brings me back to remembering.

As a kid, I occasionally went to a Presbyterian church, and throughout my teens I explored the Catholic religion, Judaism, and later, Taoism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and more. I’ve always loved going to different churches and temples and feeling God’s presence everywhere. Most often, church for me is outside, in Mother Nature’s arms.

My godmother and I shared a very special spiritual connection. She experienced many encounters with her angels during her life, and one of the most beautiful was when she heard God say to her, Child of Mine and dear to Me, thus have I fashioned thee, joyous, gracious, glad, and free. Whenever I think of her, these words speak to me and continue to be a source of motivation and power.

I’ve exposed myself to many belief systems and have been touched deeply by Rumi and Hafiz. The teachings and writings of Paramahansa Yogananda led me to a deeper understanding of Jesus’ teachings, the Christ Consciousness, meditation, and a deep appreciation of my path.

So many wise ones have lit the way along my life’s path and journey. There are too many to mention here, but I am so grateful for their wisdom, which has given me aha moments and validation of truths, insights, and realizations.

Exploring many metaphysical and esoteric teachings throughout my life has enhanced my experience of God’s presence in the form of miracles and blessings. Some of the most profound of these are my relationships with angels, guides, helpers, healers, masters, and teachers, in physical and nonphysical form, as they have revealed themselves to me.

After many years of meditation, countless workshops, hundreds of books, life lessons, grace, and higher guidance, I was finally ready to commit to a daily practice of energization exercises and meditation that has carried me, supported me, and sustained me for the past forty-plus years.

I have found that daily rituals and routines help me stay centered and in a state of gratitude and appreciation. Each morning when I walk, I am thankful for the beauty I see and the heartfelt appreciation of life that I feel.
