    PREFACE

Isabella and Marina were two extraordinary nine year old girls full of adventures. Their moms were twin sisters who were married to twin brothers! Right from childhood, they were brought up together in the same house, as their fathers were business partners and they all decided to live in a joint family. The two girls were best friends to each other and bonded well, they were always there for each other whether it was a bad day at school, seeking adventure in post-midnight activities of a freaky neighbor or going on an exotic vacation. They were called Fristers (best friend and sisters) by friends and families as they were always together.

Isabella had blonde silky, wavy hair (with a little bit of brown highlights). Her eyes were hazel and she loved fashion. She was pretty good at studies and always got straight A’s. Marina had blonde hair and honey eyes. Marina loved sports and she was also great at studies. They went to Shed Heed private school in New Jersey, USA. Their house was like a palace. It was a 7 story mansion that had 30 rooms (or more, no one ever bothered to count), 5 offices (one for each of the 4 parents and one for the girls), 3 gigantic kitchens where chefs cooked yummy food for them, a bowling alley, a gaming room, an ice- skating rink and a luxurious Olympic-sized pool with a lazy river and a Jacuzzi to entertain friends and family. Isabella and Marina shared the whole of seventh floor between them and no one was allowed to come to that floor without their permission! They called this floor their mini den which had a big bedroom, two bathrooms (each containing a sauna), four rooms for study, play, music and sports. It also had a mini kitchen for quick snacks!), and three walk-in closets to keep all their clothes, games, toys and electronic gadgets.

    CHAPTER ONE

Last day at school before vacay

Isabella and Marina were looking forward to the start of their summer vacation, it was the last day of school. They were already a bit sad that their dads had to go on a one-week business trip, just on the last day of their school before vacation. Little did they know what awaited them at school that day?

They were looking forward to their last swimming class with their friends. However, because of the rain the teacher said not to go into the pool as there were forecast of thunder showers. The ground was pretty slippery because of the drizzle. Marina and Isabella were walking past the pool in a joyous mood holding each other’s hands. Suddenly there was a thump!!! Then a splash, followed by a loud shriek…yes, Isabella had slipped into the pool and she pulled Marina along with her in their school uniform. Everyone in their class was laughing their heads out until the teacher reprimanded them to be quiet. He then told Isabella and Marina Girls, I feel sorry that it happened on the last day of school which is supposed to be a fun day at school. Now do you wanna change? Come on, go. Isabella and Marina went back to the changing room and came back into classroom for their next class. They were supposed to buddy up and write about books. Obviously, the Fristers went together as a team. Their favorite book was the series of Super brothers in underpants written by Annabella Fox. Everyone thought their selection of topic was childish, so they made fun by singing Baby sisters!!!! Na Na, Na Na, Naaa Na!! Marina was a little sensitive so she started crying. Even though nobody noticed, Isabella tried her best to make Marina happy by saying some jokes and it worked!!!! Fristers were happy again!!

At lunch that day, Isabella bought rice and chicken from the school canteen and Marina bought cheese sandwich. Marina took a bite of sandwich and a little bit later, she had red spots all over her face. The sandwich had tomatoes in it and Marina was allergic to tomatoes. Isabella, on the other hand, had a piece of eggplant or some vegetable on her rice plate that looked like a mice! Some of the
