Life’S Experiences - Tierra Adams
1 State Of Depression
Sometimes my hurt
causes my mouth not to move
Sometimes my pain
causes me to feel so confused
I went to the doctor,
hoping they could instantly fix my problems
While I sat with anxiety
I was very well bothered
As time went by,
I began to get impatient
thoughts filled my head
Such as I just can’t make it
My heart started pounding
I could feel my blood pressure rise
At that very moment
I just wanted my negative mental mind to die
I’ve been feeling as if
I’ve been under way too much pressure
I knew then,
I was in the state of depression
2 Unintentional kidnapping
Yesterday I noticed
A man sitting quietly
Minding his own business
reading a book silently
I could not help
but to invade his personal space
for some strange reason
I was drawn to the look on his face
I politely walked up
and said how are you sir?
He said I’m just fine
and my vision became blurred
I started getting dizzy
I got weak and faint
and then I passed out
I awoke to the loud smell of paint
When I opened my eyes
I noticed a nice view
I saw a lady with glasses
she had on pink shiny shoes
She asked me
what’s the name I go by
I told her my name
and then I asked Why
She told me she’d had
a daughter named Misty
but a few years ago
her daughter went missing
I said I’m sorry ma’am
that is very devastating,
now I must go
my family is waiting
So she told me
I wasn’t going anywhere
I looked at her,frightened
as she ran her fingers through my hair
it all made sense
she thought I was her missing child
a mistake they had made
now I needed a way out
3 A Mother’s Nightmare
