Torah in spite of her name felt the need to learn the Bible for herself.
She found that man has put a lot of their wisdom molesting the word Of God without understanding, the meaning of the scriptures, or as Torah may say lack of wisdom.
Her love for the true word of God became a true passion. This passion brought her to be some where she never imagined herself, as a bible scholar, sharing the good news of God’s word, without trying to convert or manipulate.
She is the world’s top scholar. She is often challenged to debate with others, that think they were well learned, In the Torah, and the bible. Later to only find out her knowledge of the true word of God, could not be challenged. They found amazement on how she separated, culture, costumes, traditions and manmade laws and rituals from the truth, of God. She made it her point to be flawless.
At the end of all debates the room is engulfed with love hope, and great feelings of inspiration, with a different way of seeing the only true living God as divine, ready to give each and every one an enduring love just for who they are already, and not waiting to become. This is all that Torah really wants to accomplish.
Torah is strikingly beautiful. She speaks with comforting words, and her smile is always warm and approachable. Her brown eyes are gentle with a soulful smile of their own.
She wears modest clothing. Her hair is always covered with fine dressy cloths; her hair is black with touches of waves that bounce to her waist when she uncovers her head.
Working as a well-known writer it keeps her time. She writes lyrics for her synagogue also while in-between writing her books.
Torah lives a simple life even though her inheritance from her parents is enough for four generations. Her house is spacious with 5 bedrooms 4 baths, there’s a full size library and a office. She has a big kitchen, her mother designed a long time ago for catering,
Everything in the kitchen is in a pure white except for the cherry wood cabinets that matches an oval table a setting displayed for 12 with fine china.
There’s sliding glass doors in the kitchen that overlooks a beautiful lake, on her 6,000 square feet property. The kitchen is hardly ever used, there’s a big living room that is in partnered with the dining room, painted also in a pure white with coco material coaches and the square table in the dining room an oak wood with coco settings inviting a 6 chair sitting.
Her office is a soft white, to bring out all the photography of different colorful birds that landed for a quick meal on her property framed in black wood. Torah’s father took every single picture in her office, and she was very attached to the photographs her father took after he retired and found his hobby relaxing.
All her furniture is a dark black made of wood to match the design of the frames that surrounded her office.
There is a smaller room connected to her office with just a leather black reading chair catty cornered that gave also a view to the wall to wall fireplace, a larger lounge chair is facing directly in front of the fireplace, this part of the office is the brightest during the day from the large bay windows and an open celling of glass inviting the sun in. Torah taste would be something cozier, but she wouldn’t dream of giving up her inheritance that she was born in.
She is childless as time slipped away, always writing wedding vows for others never yet committing to find a soul mate for herself.
Torah knew for her, love was not full of romance and excitement but was filled with a deeper passion, a trust. She held in her heart a quote from AthenaNechole Tsavtarides "love is holding a hand, a hand you know, will never let go. She was not going to settle for anything less.
It was a beautiful spring day and Torah’s birthday, she enjoyed long walks to clear her head or find inspiration to fill the pages of her book. Her beliefs kept her far from thinking about a pegan celebration.
Torah knew how these celebrations infiltrated the world and wanted no part in it.
She was walking when a puppy caught her eyes, tied against a pole. He was a soft tan, and floppy ears, he looked so innocent with such soulful eyes waiting so patiently to be petted.
She approached the puppy to get a better look. When a lady asked her do you like dogs? Torah smiled and replied all animals are a blessing.
The lady quickly put out her hand I’m Sophia.
You are just as lovely as your name, and my name is Torah.
Sophia was flattered. Sophia pointing at the puppy he’s very sweet.
Oh so you know this handsome puppy asked Torah? Well yes he’s my puppy; well I brought him home just a few hours ago. He’s a gift from a friend. I can’t take him inside. We were unaware it was against our lease agreement to have any kind of pet. My husband was so looking forward to keeping him, and so was I. Would you be interested in keeping him Sophia asked?
Torah paused for a second; I would love to take him home.
Torah bent down to untie his bright blue leash that was matching his bright blue collar. His eyes so peaceful, she looked up at Sophia, I will name him Sabbath, to mark today. Sabbath must have approved giving Torah a nice wet kiss.
I will bring him again for a visit, now we must go home.
Thank you said Sophia, see you again, watching Torah and Sabbath walk in sync down the road.
Torah finally gets home trying to open her front door, struggling with keys, holding Sabbath’s leash and the heavy large brown paper bag of goodies in her other hand they picked up on their travels. Home.
The door finally opens and she is greeted by the constant annoyance of the telephone ringing.
She puts off the ringer, she found settling down Sabbath and watching him explore was more important.
After a few hours and both their bellies full, Sabbath found her office and that nice quiet reading chair that is catty cornered in the smaller room connected to her office that has never been used looking at Torah for approval. Torah in a whisper said, I’m glad you found use for it.
Torah walks to her desk and put the ringer on the phone, immediately it rang. On the other line a voice of excitement, Torah where have you been, I spent the day trying to reach you?
Torah knowing that familiar voice filled with excitement and true to the meaning of her name Friend was Ruth.
I went out for a walk early and, before Torah could finish that sentence Ruth interrupts I’m coming over, we can have dinner and trade the happenings of the day.
Well Ruth I’ve already eaten and I brought home my puppy and I, A puppy Ruth interrupted again with a surprised shout, I’m coming over and before Torah could say a word Ruth already hung up. Well Sabbath it looks like we’ll be having company.
Ruth and Torah are childhood friends, more like sisters seeing that neither one had a sibling they grew up together; their parents had a bond like theirs.
They both have so much in common both their parents were the only children their grandparents had and they raised Torah’s mother and Ruth’s mother together.
The door swings open and Ruth immediately rushing to Torch’s office spots the handsome boy, forgetting to greet Torah. He is perfect, what made you decide on a puppy, was it a given as a gift? What’s his name, how old is he?
He was offered to me and I said yes, his name is Sabbath and I’m not really sure his age.
Well congratulations on finally making a commitment to something breathing.
Well how about you? Me Ruth smiled? At least now I have Sabbath said Torah, We will share him replied Ruth.
Ruth was a young bride and things ended badly, during the time of her marriage she preferred to be childless and did not have a desire for children like Torah, but they were both fond of children.
Are you ready for your debate on Monday at the mosque?
No I canceled when I found out who I was debating. Why ask Ruth scared to ruin your record asked with a tease?
If they would send me an invitation to speak about the Divine words of the Torah or the Bible, I would be more than happy to.
Ruth asked but shouldn’t you teach them anyway
No explained Torah John 3:19
Jesus teaches us when he said
