About this ebook

How many times have we lived in the moment that we are in? How many times have we really been with the person with whom we are sitting for a coffee or have really worked, while we sit at our office desks, or the music we are listening to, playing with our children and many more such moments. The instances are many, and heart in heart, we are all smiling now, because we know the answer, dont we?
This book, which is a continuation to part 1 (i.e., Stars Under My Feet, Journey Through Poems) is a tribute to most of those moments in which I chose to live fully. A tribute to all those moments when I came in terms with reality and accepted it. A tribute to all the amazing people who joined me to give me positive directions.
Embarking on a new journey of hope, fight, survival, prayer, and acceptance is what this book is all about. My poems are compiled and tied together for each one us who itch to identify with themselves every day. Much love, truth, and hope to all.

    Finding Beginnings - Smriti Rajvardhini

    The Falling

    July 2015

The sky fell on my feet,

    My nail came off.

Left a few droplets of blood,

    Mixed in the sand.

I stopped, I had to stop!

But my broken nail gave me a sigh,

And asked me to walk on.

The falling had chosen, not to make me stop.

The rain fell hard on me,

I drenched in my own fear,

My tears were that extra gain,

    Questions – my cloud,

    Answers were in vain.

I stopped, I had to stop!

But my questions gave me a sigh,

And asked me to dance in the rain.

    No answers, many questions.

    Few questions, silent answers,

They said, it’s all the same.

The falling has chosen, not to make me drain.

    The sleep fell on me,

    And I could see nothing.

Believing that I cannot be seen,

    I slumbered in my vanity.

    My quilt battled my thoughts,

My eyes opened wide for the sun light.

    The breeze through my hair,

    Waved me a sigh.

I stopped, I had to stop!

But the winds left the hopes gushing,

    My limbs prepared to walk,

    The heart signalled to beat.

The fallen had chosen, to embrace a morning,

    To embrace a living.

    Sailor

    August 2015

I have seen the wrong rise,

    And soar to new heights.

The bleeding soul makes no difference,

The weeping heart, does not melt you away.

The longing eyes, can never find your door,

And the words unspoken, are never traded.

I have seen the wrong rise,

    And climb to new pinnacles,

I have seen the wrong rise,

    And soar to new heights.

    The hurting hands,

    The limping steps,

    Are not fast enough,

    To match the gait.

I have seen the wrong, step on your
