About this ebook

All my life, I have had a tender heart for God. He taught me how to pray and how to love, and he made me a preacher.

I have a little church. When I was appointed there, we had zero membership, but the Lord told me to preach.

I started preaching on the street corner. The police came to hear me preach, and the Lord blessed the church.

He told me to write, and I just obeyed him.

I tried to be a singer, but that was not for me. When you go off and try to do it on your own, it will not work. I was trying to sing for the devil, but the Lord knew the road I was taking would kill me. If we follow the path that God leads us to, we will not go wrong. Remember that God knows the right way to go. My way was not the way of God; he knew the way that I should take. I then wanted to follow God’s way. My desire is to preach the word of God and to teach men and women how much God loves us so we don’t have to give up and hang our head down. Let us look up to the Master. Don’t lean upon yourself; lean on God alone for all your needs. I tried to be a singer, but that was not for me.

    Preface

When I was a boy I tried to do everything.

It seems as if there was not anything that I could not do.

At twelve years of age, I was taking care of all, my father’s cattle, fetched water, fetched wood, and worked in the field.

I was mastering my own jobs.

I thank God today for this, for it taught me how to be a real man.

I learned how to take care of my family, how to be a real husband, and father.

On the other hand, the Lord gave me a real wife, one that stands with me, to help me.

We have two lovely children: Caroline A. Rodney, and Cynthia Rodney, and six grandchildren, two boys, and four girls, and three sisters, and three brothers.

I believe that the Lord is well able to take me, through the hard times ahead.

My mother did not live to see my age, thank God for my father.

I had many closed calls with death.

I fell off the top of a truck, but the Lord gave me another chance to live.

I believed that God knows, that this time would come, that I would be a witness for him.

To tell man, and woman, how good God is, I lost everything that I had, my house, my car, and a good life, to go to the life of need, and wants.

But in all this, my wife stuck there with me.

She could have walked away, and left me like many other wives have done.

She makes the chose to stand there with me.

Now the Lord has given me, everything back, the house, the car, and paid off my debts.

Better is the end of a thing, than the beginning there of.

The Lord said that he will give us a great end, you see, now the reward follows after, you will not get paid, before you finished your work, you must work first.

The Lord told Abraham, that he was going to give him the land, but he said, that the wickedness of the people of the land was not fully ripe.

So his grandson would wonder, in a land that was not theirs.

And they would afflict them, but after that, he would send them out with great riches.

The reward comes after; there is nothing wrong with failing.

What is really wrong, is to stop trying, don’t stop go, forward.

Charge, charge, God never stops I love you.

    Introduction

    39285.png

We are workers together with Christ.

The grace of God, that we receive, is not in vain, but is given to take us higher, he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, now is the day of salvation.

    I will secure thee.

God is taking care of us, in our time of need.

Behold, now is the accepted tome, behold now is the day of salvation, right now is the day of salvation.

He comes to deliver us from our sins.

He is our Savior, he our Redeemer, so give, no offense in anything, that the ministry, be not blamed.

Do everything that lies in your power, to up hold the Gospel of Christ.

Put no stumbling block in any man’s way, so that they may fall over them, but in all things, approving us as the ministers of God.

We must have plenty of patience, and be patience with each other, in affliction, in necessities, and in distress.

It doesn’t matter how bad it looks to us, just remember that God is in charge of it all.

He will see you through stripe, imprisonment, tumult, labor, watching, and fasting.

Pray for these times, and days in which we are living in.

Pray for the children by pureness, by knowledge, long suffering, kindness, and by the Holy Ghost.

By love unfeigned, by the word of truth, and by the power of God.

By the armor of righteousness, on the right hand, and on the left, by honor, and dishonor, and by evil, and good report, as deceivers, and yet true, as unknown, and yet, well known.

As dying, and behold we live, as chastened, and not killed.

As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich.

As having nothing, yet possessing all things, brothers and sisters, we will suffer many things, for the name of Christ, but let us, rejoice in the Lord greatly, why? Because he is leading us through the fight, he will not leave us.

He will be with us, in the fire, he will be with us, in the flood, through the river, and through the Red Sea.

Keep your eyes upon him, and don’t lose sight of him.

    God Bless you Real Good.

MY Praises to God, Please remember that p+raise=praise,

    Praise the Lord.

I am glad that he is mine.

Hello to every one of you out there, this is Reverend Rodney coming to you from Forward in the Spirit, Radio Broad cast, I hope that you are doing fine.

    Now let us pray.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come again to thank you, far this privilege, to come into the homes of many readers offices, of friends, and love ones.

Father we pray that you would touch, minister to needs, heal sickness, and diseases, in the name of Jesus.

And we thank you in Jesus name, Amen.

Now, I would like to write to you, to let you know how great God, is.

I would like to talk to you, from the word of God, which is taken from the book of.

    Malachi 3:1-18.

The Bible says Behold, which means to look.

I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me.

And the Lord, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in.

Behold, look, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts, the Lord signs his name to this.

Know this, that the Lord cannot lie to any man, or any one, he signed his name to it, but who may abide the day of his coming, and who shall stand when he appeared? He is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers, soap, he shall sit
