The Cookbook for Your Soul is the first release by Author James Williams. This book was designed to inspire others, spread some love and help make people smile. Poems by JW are designed to deliver a special meaning or to thank others that are special to you. These poems are made to be hung on your wall or the wall of a loved one. Hopefully you’ll soon realize the value of this book and appreciate the love that flows from each poem. Poems like American Soldier, written for all the brave men and women of our military can have an enormous impact on the heart of someone close to you or someone you barely know. Born in the Central Valley of California, James has experienced many different ways of life and cultures which transform beautifully into his poetry. All his wonderful friends and family also help him stay wise, happy, humorous and peaceful. Marriage and his 5 adorable children have made him a proud father and given him a new outlook on life. This has helped create magical meanings and feelings that you too will enjoy. Inspirational Delight

Ingredients needed:

1- Copy of American Soldier poem

1- Person who has served or is serving in the US Military

1- Picture frame

1-Enormous heart

1-Roll of Wrapping paper (Optional)

Directions:

1. Remove poem from the book.

2. Resize if needed and insert into picture frame.

3. If you have wrapping paper, wrap frame up.

4. Arrange a meeting with that special person.

5. Hand gift over and prepare for all the emotion that will follow.

6. Repeat as many times as needed to continue spreading the love.

Footnotes:

Create your own special recipe and spread the love to all the people you know and appreciate. There are endless amounts of emotion that can flow from this book. Also try digesting some laughter by entertaining others at special events as you read some of the humor poems aloud. I hope you all enjoy the tons of emotion that this book can bring you. American Soldier

The day you signed up for the service,

You weren’t the least bit nervous.

The dangers and responsibilities were no mystery,

You’re proud to be all you can be.

To train and learn you were eager to start,

When your orders arrived you took them to heart.

When Soldier became your title,

You instantly became an American Idol.

Every minute you endure tremendous stress,

For that alone, I’m impressed.

All your hard work, loyalty and devotion,

Keep your heart in motion.

A modern day warrior dressed in camouflage,

Your emotions and pain are a mirage.

Thick skin and a monumental heart,

Those are the keys to your art.

This countries dearest treasure,

To salute you, it’s my pleasure.

Uncle Sam and the rest of the world,

Unceasingly indebted for the evil you unfurl.

We value our rights you fight to protect,

Undoubtedly you deserve our utmost respect.

Recognize this kin and friend,

You’re a hero that I’ll always defend.

As you observe Old Glory flying high,

Grasp the unconditional love we all supply.

In no way could I ever repay you,

Billions of others admire you too.

The world’s most superior rank,

An American Soldier, you’re who I thank!

Hero

At many odd hours you begin your day,

When it starts your life is in harm’s way.

You’d be the first to volunteer for any demonstration,

Sacrificing your life without hesitation.

Your patience and training, always put to the test,

I’m grateful for all the hours you invest.

Regardless of all that goes wrong,

You always find a way to finish strong.

Guts of steal and a heart of gold,

They’re your qualities that keep you bold.

Whether you’re on the front line, fighting fires or crimes,

I’m indebted to you for protecting me at all times.

Knowledge, agility and your fine-tuned ability,

They’re the skills you possess that fight off hostility.

Each day you perform in different ways,

This makes our world a much better place.

I appreciate your family for raising you this way,

And taking care of you at the end of your day.

This keeps you sane and allows you to be you,

They’re all heroes in my eyes too!

I thank you from the bottom of my heart,

It’s you who plays the most crucial part.

Not ever could you be paid enough,

For that alone, I extend all my love.
