When all deeds are forgiven

for every saint and sinner,

when God showers his praise

this is true grace.

When hurtful words fall on deaf ears

your pain in my eyes is mirrored,

when all but love is erased

this is true grace.

When glares are replaced by a smile

and for a stranger you’d walk mile,

with affection every thought is laced.
