About this ebook
Jason Gillikin
This book tells my story of growing up in a broken home, while being faced with challenges not seen by most. It is a story that at times challenged me to find the right words to write, but through prayer and God's grace he helped me through it. There are individuals in my life who have impacted me both in a positive and negative way, and my story speaks about them. I have always felt that when words are written, people can really feel that true emotion you are looking to portray. I am forty-three years of age and have lived my life with an incurable and disfiguring bone disease. I have felt the need to be accepted my entire life, and anything short of that was felt as rejection on my part. I have seen how cruel and demeaning this world can be to a person who is different, or not perceived as what is normal in today's world. My writing is Christian-based and offers what I will make as a signature to all my future projects. The South Central United States is where I currently call home, but Carolina will always have my heart. We all have a story, so let’s tell the rest of the world and be proud of it. I’m different than most people you see on a daily basis, but it will never define me as a person. Everyday is a different challenge for me but God has given me the strength, and the courage to face this world, head high, and chin up. If my story touches and makes a difference in just a single life, then my writing endeavor, in my eyes, will be a success. Different people do make a Difference.

INTRODUCTION
GOD HAS A PURPOSE AND plan for each of us. Never let anyone or anything keep you from sharing your story or testimony. The words you share with others can change lives. Just think if only one person benefits from what you have been challenged with in life and decides to share their experiences with others; how, over time so many lives can be impacted. Believe in God and in yourself because Different People do make a Difference.
