    A Certain Man

I invite you to come and have a journey with me to hear what Jesus has done for a certain man.

There is a gate of much beauty I have a word to say concerning.

A specific gate is spoken to us concerning the healing of a certain lame man by Peter, a disciple of Jesus.

The Beautiful Gate is its name.

The living Word was spoken to this lame man.

This certain man was cured and leapt to his feet as the God of heaven’s name from the lips of Peter was spoken.

The curse of sin and death was broken.

    A recreation additionally did occur.

Does it occur even to and for us today?

    Yes.

An individual had never accomplished a healing miracle of such variety before this certain man had been healed.

Peter spoke a name of great power and authority.

The living Word, Jesus, was spoken to this certain man.

This name is of the greatest renown.

    A new noun was spoken.

A new name’s noun was Jesus.

The new name spoken has a great value.

More than all earth’s silver and gold, we are told.

Peter did say he did not possess earth’s silver or its gold.

He did have, however, a name.

He did say that he, Peter, would impart this name into this certain man.

Peter continued to do what he had said he would do.

    Peter spoke Jesus’ name.

In the name of Jesus did Peter say to this certain man,

Take up your bed and walk.

The certain man did immediately do as Peter had asked

    of him.

The name of Jesus healed this certain man.

The name of Jesus caused a miracle in his body.

This certain man never had the capacity to walk.

    He had been born lame.

    This is an incurable situation.

The name of Jesus gave to this certain man new feet and legs.

The location of this miracle was about the portico of Solomon.

Many people ran to Peter and Paul asking them to heal their bodies.

This certain man had been sitting.

Solomon was the name of a king who was said to have had more wisdom than any other man had ever had.

A most fitting place to have the wisdom of God displayed,

The gate was the location of a gathering of many people.

Peter was accused after this display of the power of Jesus’ name.

Peter and Paul were taken to prison.

    They had aroused the people.

Teaching them concerning the power of Jesus’ name.

Many of the hearers of the words spoken by Peter believed what they had heard.

Peter had spoken to the people that were gathered concerning another Certain Man.

Peter told the people gathered by this gate the

Good News of what Jesus had done for all men, not just this certain one.

    Peter proclaimed the Gospel.

The Good News concerning Jesus, His birth, His teachings, His crucifixion, His going to hell,

and His resurrection from the dead.

Peter instructed these people in the Scriptures.

He told them God had sent His Son, Jesus, to earth to ransom all men and to give to them a new birth.

God had made Jesus the sacrificial Lamb and in Jesus all peoples may come home to Him once again.

The Israelites would understand this message.

Peter told all the peoples gathered that now all men could live with and in Him if they should choose what God had sent to them.

People may now receive a new birth and be given a new nature.

People may receive healing and restoration in Jesus’ name today.

The certain man can and may be you if you should so choose.

God does say to us that He will do all these things to and for you if you should ask Him in His Son’s name.

There is salvation in no other name.

Forty years of age was this certain man who had been miraculously healed at the gate called Beautiful.

Let this not spread among the people, was the governing official’s statement and council’s warning.

Do not speak in this name to the peoples again.

This warning was given to Peter and Paul.

They however could not deny the name and could not discontinue speaking what they knew.

The account of this happening is written in Acts 4:20.

Threats did continue to be made this day.

There were no legal claims to retain Peter and Paul in prison.

There was no basis to place them in prison.

They were after a short while released and they returned to their companions.

When their companions had heard of their release, they lifted their voices to God with one accord.

They thanked God with one voice.

Their reaction was so intense the ground shook their place.

The words are written for you to read in Acts 4:24–26.

May these words that I have imparted into you begin to shake you.

May these words begin to inspire you to use Jesus’

name to heal all those who are in physical needs.

The name of Jesus of Nazareth had accomplished all the wonders of Jesus’ name to that certain man.

It never has grown weak nor has it come to an end.

It may happen to you or a certain man once again.

    Beautiful Gate.

    Shall I see you there?

It matters not what the location may be.

Wherever Jesus’ name is spoken to a certain one

is a Beautiful Gate of freedom.

    Wisdom Of The Prey

There are those with lifted hands.

I have seen them on their knees.

Several have beads in their hands muttering words.

    Others burn incense in containers.

There are folks about who spin wheels.

Attached are papers with words inscribed on them.

    These are all people praying.

They are all asking for help in time of need.

Prayers to whom do I say are these people hoping to hear?

Where, oh where, is the answer to their prayers?

    They pray.

People are praying their own unique way.

Many times there are large groups praying together.

I have seen people on the top of buildings crying several times aloud daily.

    They are praying earnestly.

    The people bring food.

Other folks bring flowers to offer to statues of deities.

All of these people are believing to receive the answer to their prayers.

There are many people preyed upon by evil that frightens them.

Poverty, sickness, and slavery are these folks’ fear.

Many of these people praying are in these dreadful conditions already.

They continue to pray that they may not be the prey.

What shall I say to all of these people?

Will you kneel or spin a wheel?

Light incense or bring flowers or cereal to a deity?

Shall you mutter with your beads?

Will you find an answer to your prayers and be set free?

    Will you continue?

Free of the fears that you fear shall or have come upon you?

Do you choose to continue living?

Do you want to be at ease of your fears and be free?

How can we pray and not become the prey of all our enemies?

I have several words of wisdom.

I have the answer to your questions.

I know personally of a God of peace who will set you free.

    Free from your fear.
