About this ebook
M. Butler-Davis
M. Butler-Davis is an eight year old girl who resides in a small city in Maryland. She has always had a quest for learning and trying new and exciting things. She is Home Schooled just like the character she portrays and is fascinated with mysteries, science, languages and the Kratts Brother’s Wild Kratts show on PBS which teaches about animals. She has modeled the Tinker Bell toys for Disney as Iridessa and Rosetta and was showcased as Princess Tiana in the Princess Display at Target stores. She tends to be quite shy and wanted to try her hand at writing. Her hope is that her book will inspire others by demonstrating that you are never too young to try something new and she hopes that they enjoy her book. R. Butler-Davis is the extremely proud mother of the author who assisted with some grammar choices and with questions to help keep the perspective of the book written in a cohesive manner. Since the author, M. Butler-Davis, is being Home Schooled, this was used as a writing project as well as a business learning project to assist her in preparing for her future. We hope that our book will encourage independent thinking and demonstrate that parental support when properly executed can inspire wonderful memories and lessons for your child.

WELCOME
After a ten hour drive, we had finally arrived!!! I could not believe that after all of that driving, I had actually survived the car trip! Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love to travel, but, I can get a bit impatient. Well, truth be told, I have ABSOLUTELY no patience at all. I’m just like my mommy. I just want to pick out a travel destination, get there quickly and start having fun! I love to do all sorts of things. But, I really love it when we go to a different place and my mommy and I find a mystery to solve! It really makes our vacations a lot more fun and exciting!!
By the way, please forgive my rushing and rudeness! My name is Chi pronounced like Ki (long I
sound). My name means energy and boy do I have lots of it! I am eight years old and going into the third grade. I am also home schooled, so much of my travelling works itself into my studies. I travel with my homeschool teacher, my mommy, whom I affectionately call Bobby.
We have travelled to some great, and not so great, places. This trip we are in Canada to visit one of the wonders of the world, Niagara Falls.
We are staying at a bed and breakfast this time. It is our first time doing this, so we have no idea what to expect. Bobby and I always try to have a back-up plan for just in case. We agreed that we will leave our bags in the car until we decide whether we both like this place, and we feel that it is clean enough to meet our standards. We are a bit picky that way, I’m sure that you can understand.
As we begin to slow down, I notice an old historic looking house. It is a red, brick house with large, white pillars in the
