    Book Summary

    Dedication

This book is dedicated to the eight individuals who have most positively influenced my life.

Since childhood, my mom and dad, Barbara and George Mann, have showed me love, taught me to be a good person, educated and encouraged me at every turn. My brother, Scott Mann, and I, shared endless childhood adventures while together learning about fairness, cooperation and kindness.

In my adulthood, my wife, Selina Mann, my love and closest friend, has continuously spurred me on toward love and good deeds. My two daughters, Sarah and Sophia Mann, the joy of their father’s heart, have shown me that love is patient, love is kind, love always protects, always trusts, and always hopes. My father-in-law, Summie Li, may he rest in peace, taught me most of what I know about real estate, and for that gift, I am forever grateful.

All the while, my Lord and Savior has loved and blessed me far beyond reasonable expectation. Thank you Lord, for all these special people and for helping me to remember, Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. (Colossians 3:17)

    Setting Reader Expectations

I chose the title of this e-book, How To Buy A Home In Hawaii E-Book, very carefully, and with purpose.

There are tons of books available on How to Buy A Home, although most books focus on what needs to be done and not so much on the how to do it. My content focus is on how to do it with straight-forward advice based on my experience as a real estate broker and consultant.

By In Hawaii, please note that I mean the entire state of Hawaii, each of its six main populated islands (Big Island of Hawaii, Maui, Lānai, Molokai, Oahu, and Kauai) and all of its varied communities. The steps, information, and techniques described within this publication are applicable on every island. However, I must admit, I have primarily centered most of the content with respect to the island of Oahu, which is
