    BEGINNING Vacoor====

One night I’m dreaming a strange dream that I’m being very successful business man; indeed, I’m running with few other guys an internet company which is doing great business.

In my dream; suddenly, this man in black enters through the doorway. He looks at Al with electrifying eyes and says.

Hey, you run that new internet company.

Al mesmerized says, Please, come in, we all do and your name is?

Lights seem to decorate his body.

My name is Vacoor; I’m a representative from another dimension. We have been watching your company develop. We are impressed; therefore, we want to make a deal with you. He paused for second to take a deep breath and then continued.

"From our side, we’ll help you eliminate your competitors. We will make you, guys the most successful computer company in the world; moreover, your company will become wealthy and it will manipulate all the countries in the world.

Your internet system will top all other companies throughout the world; therefore, your ‘Herman Company’ will become the most successful and richest enterprise." He again took a deep breath and continued.

Generally speaking, all the governments will be dancing to your tune; practically, you guys will be dictating to all the countries because money is the basic power in the world.

Again he paused and smiled, then continued.

You see by being extremely rich: you guys will have anything your heart desires. Cars, boats, planes and especially girls, you will have any girl that you want. I will make them succumb to your wishes; for instance, I know some of you have trouble getting the courage to confront a girl. There will be pleasure afterwards. That is what I’m offering to you and your company. He finished with a smile.

All the guys looked at Vacoor with open mouths.

George realized that someone has to ask some questions he says,

You say that you’re from another dimension?

Yes, I come from another world.

Al asks, Why are you doing this for us?

Vacoor replied. As you see what we offer you; like wise, you guys got to give something in return to me.

They all watched as he one moment was this man and the next a beautiful lady. Then he changed back to a man. They were all amazed, as they saw this.

Vacoor says, This should be proof of my powers. One more thing, I repeat all the governments will be dancing your tune. You guys will be Rulers of the Internet Empire. Here on Earth and the other places.

Raul sees thoughts of women after him. Edwin sees thoughts of money. Raul and Al see just money.

Vacoor is picking up out thought, he smiles.

Stranger says, That’s why they say money makes the world go round.

George, very curious says, Can we explore in your domain and look around here and we think about your proposal?

Vacoor says, Of course, take your time.

Walking around, Edwin thinks—With such a job, no it’s more like a responsibility; indeed, it would be is like making a deal with fate: nevertheless, he is offering on chance in a life time; therefore, we cannot refuse; indeed, we should make this deal.

John thinks that all this has to be a dream. But, who would dream of this stuff? The one side is pretty nice. Figuring they must have the better architects. But, this crappie side looks totally abused. Who knows? Maybe this land has people just like us, good and bad people. Perhaps, we should make a deal it sounds good

George, a good church goer feels sinful to be dealing with this guy. There has been so much talk of this guy in church.

Better not think about this guy. Looking at Raul, who is totally mystified by this place; however, seeing this place, this real place is totally away from his imagination.

This place is hot but not burning or maybe that’s just here. It’s a humid hot, a little like Florida. Boy, how I loved it when life in Miami was on the beach all year round; meanwhile, shaking his head thoughts of a different life as a lifeguard in Florida.

Scenes of that famous lifeguard series on television flash in his mind, but, after all that’s only TV. But enough of this silly thinking there’s business to be done here.

Looking at the sky is so unreal, like sights from another universe.

Suddenly, there appears a birdlike creature. All the guys watch as this creature flies into the air into nothingness.

Al feels the power of some power never felt or seen before. Thinking—this Vacoor is sure some character. He is nice, in a way and conniving, in another. I am convinced he maybe is telling the truth and he is offering something that every man is dreaming about; I think we should agree to his terms.

Edwin, the ‘brain’ of the company feels if they follow this guy—they really could go somewhere.

Meanwhile, the guys are relaxing at Al’s house. They’re watching some college football game. Rich, the quiet one yells!

Hey guys! He looks at everybody.

What about me, I’m part of the company.

Well, you didn’t say anything so we thought you agreed with everything that was said.

But, the thing is, I don’t.

Wandering outside, Ed heads to a cafe for a donut and coffee. Biting down on his cherry filled donut feel like tasting heaven. The luscious donut has such a sweet delicious filling. Now, if I could turn the company into such a desirable site—I would be classified as a genius. If I was that smart—I wouldn’t need those guys. All this fortune would be mine.

Then he realized in his thoughts; indeed, almost all those who seek that glory. Sooner or later—they fail.

The next day, they all meet at the office. Rich says, Guys, I don’t see why our company has to be like all the rest of those other online companies.

George asks, What do you mean?

I’m just saying that this company has to have enough of a difference to be special.

Al says, Now, that’s what we want. Some feedback and that’s exactly what we are looking from you.

    What?

Feedback, like on your opinion on how you think the company will be better.

That will make the company better.

    Duh,

That’s exactly why we have these little meetings every week. So, we can discuss with each other, new and better ideas.

George continued. And most importantly we can become better as a company.

They wonder when they will go back.

Thinking of becoming a celebrity doesn’t seem so important to Al. But, think of all the fame. Just to have what every person lusts for, money.

Wow! But, then thinking about it, my life won’t be my life. It will be part of the world’s life.

All this fuss and worry would be kind of fun to deal with.

Trying to think of something else is pretty easy after I turn on the TV.

Seeing all the crap that is happening around the world is sad. Everyone is killing themselves, weather in war or not.

Gee, I guess you might as well carry your own weapon. Then you will get arrested. It seems like a person simply can not win.

How can we fix this? Is there a solution? But, why should I even bother myself with these ethical problems? They don’t pay me to worry about this shit.

George realized he is still dreaming and he continues to dream wants to see what will happen as the final outcome.

Just to be a player can only be a dream now. Raul knows now, that the fun part of life is over. Work will now be part of his life.

What a depressing thing to look forward to.

George says, Remember guys, we got a big job here. This could change our little league company into a major league team.

Al asks, How did you come up with this ingenious thought?

Easy, you know when I start something I want to be the best, George replies.

    Raul says, Whatever.

Well look he thinks we have better than average intelligence. Should we?

From that saying the attitude of the guys changes to great. Now, they feel pride in themselves. But, they’re still scared.

Raul asks, Al, how are we going to do this?

Don’t worry, we’ll figure it out.

Ed says, "Guys, we are four masterful minds. That’s a lot better than one.

They are brought by Vacoor to a little house. Opening the door, they see four beds and a big screen television in the middle.

Vacoor says, You guys, relax and I’ll see you in the morning.

After Vacoor leaves the house, George switches on the TV. He wants to watch some programs down here.

They are all surprised to see that the programs on their networks are old reruns of our old shows.

The program shows this guy living with two girls. But, Al can’t remember the name so says nothing.

    Raul says, It’s some company.

    Who cares?

They all go to sleep. George, the closest one to religion, kneels and prays that everything goes alright.

Remembering the time when he was a cashier at this corner drug store. Not getting paid anything good was disturbing.

Without me the store would make nothing and they paid me near to nothing.

But, knowing in the future when I get a manager position. I’ll get paid big money for practically doing nothing, I think. That would be ideal because that’s what everyone wants to do. Then you can say work pays off.

But all of us workers in this store knew that not to be true. The day would start with me opening the store.

It’s usually boring because there aren’t that many customers so early in the morning.

My eyes would keep looking at the clock just to the side.

At around ten o’clock, the mad pack of customers from the nearby electric company would drift in.

At the end of the day, few would shop for their meal in the night. At the end of my shift, a printout on the register indicated that I made so much money today.

Then the night life would begin. What a life, compared to now.

Thoughts of that job keep popping in my mind. No matter what kind of person they were a doctor, a lawyer or anything else, they all need to shop here.

After leaving, I look at the stuff that I bought and grin. I guess that’s what they mean when they say you can get caught in shopping fever. Nobody can resist that fever.

Al just closes his eyes and gets some private relaxation time. Closing his eyes, it looks like he’s asleep.

Rich really doesn’t care because he really wasn’t doing much of anything. Knowing that he’s a better than average looking guy, he shouldn’t have any problem.

Boredom sets in. To Al, it seems like a dream of an internet empire.

George thinks this would make a great book, while remembering he was studying fiction writing class taught by this white hair asshole.

This story would beat anything he ever wrote.

The guys wander around and see this door. They see signs all over that have X’s all over them.

Raul says, Guys we should get away from here—it looks dangerous.

Richard says, This is nothing follow me and I’ll show you some cool sites.

They follow Richard around just like being on a tour. Richard is talking calmly as all these occurrences happen.

There is a fire to the side but no one seems to care. Even though there is all this screaming and yelling.

From the mist, a figure approaches them. They see it is Vacoor.

Vacoor right away says, So, you see what I mean. This place could use the internet.

Al asks, Let’s see what you have.

Vacoor brings them to a little house. Inside, there is one computer. Not at all fancy or up to date.

The guys get to work while Vacoor just watches the guys work.

After a while, he says, I’ve been watching you guys work. I think you guys are right for this job.

Al looking at Vacoor he asks, What do you want us to do?

Just do your best that you guys can do.

    Vacoor leaves the room.

The guys just look at each other, while Vacoor disappears.

Al feels a little scared. Knowing the complexity of networking is only the beginning.

Raul says, Network architecture and protocol specifications are essential. A good blueprint is not enough to explain the success of this Internet system.

Have a job to make this service the best. Al says.

    We will, Ed responds.

Back in their room, the guys are going to talk. As they open the door, they see a nicely dressed man sitting on one of the beds.

Who the hell are you? Ed asks.

My name is Hochoch; I want to be your friend. I can unlock any door that you want open.

Al asks, Why would we want to open any door here?

This place is full of mysteries. Follow me.

The group of guys follows him to a sort of hospital. On the 12th floor while looking at the desk there is the receptionist bones are lying around and a set of bones is seen there lay on the desk, also a piece of paper is seen there.

Reading the paper, on it paper says: you’re so close to finalize the system, but no good news printed on it. Ed thinks—there’s nothing of interest here.

Trying to get out of this building, they see dead bodies and one body near a mat. In the next room there is a bunch of cleaning supplies. We are hearing there a whistling wind which gives the guys some fear.

Getting fed up, Al says, Let’s leave!

They see a nice looking house across the street. Suddenly, a man comes running with a limp and falls before their feet.

Ed says, Let’s get the hell away from here.

About a block away, George says, They have more problems here than we have back home.

Rich says, This place is all screwed up!

    That’s why they need us.

Outside, they walk and near what looks like a police station. A policeman is seen but he has lizard skin. But, he walks back inside.

In the mist, there is a huge building that looks like a hotel. As the guys near it they see that it is deserted. Suddenly, they hear a scream.

Then a shallow, You will die!

They see a forest in the distance. They are following a path which leads to a cottage.

As the guys will near the cottage, they are seeing it is the living quarters of workers. Tools are hanging on the side wall and behind the door. Then they hear a voice.

Hey! What you guys are doing here?

Staring at this little guy, Raul says, We’re just searching around.

    But this is my home!

    We didn’t know. We’re sorry.

Leaving the house, a hairy creature pops out from behind a rock. Then this massive man appears.

    He says, Go, another way!

Raul says, Let’s take a break and rest for awhile.

But, it’s too far to go back! Ed says.

George, knowing a little bit more about these affairs due to the fact that he started going to a police academy, a few years ago. Then George says, This is truly a mystery.

This place looks like the lost world of souls. Clouds of dust are in the air or maybe there is some spirit around. There seems to be a sense of spiritual youth.

There is no sense of time. Things seem to be going in slow motion.

What do we do if one attacks us? Rich asks.

"What the hell do you think? George replied laughingly.

How can we kill one of these spirits? Al asks.

    I don’t know. Rich replied.

The guys are looking around and run into this guy.

This guy says, I’m Caric, the great cleric and who are you?

Al says, We come to deliver the internet here.

What the hell is that? He inquired with puzzling face.

Our internet company here will deliver whatever you guys want.

George says, We should have more of those cool sites Rich

Al says, Networks are constructed from a variety of building blocks.

"That’s for sure Al you are a genius. George said with a smile.

Getting back to their living quarters, Rich says, Guys, we can develop a multiplexing system that will be the most cost effective.

George says, "Why are you talking about cost effective?

What the hell do we care about money? There doesn’t seem any of our money here, Edwin says.

Al’s managerial experience has to focus on a few things. He knows that he has to deliver this new system in the most comprehensive manner.

Suddenly, a flash surprises everyone. It clears and reveals a short man with a pointy hat.

My name is Greg the wizard.

Raul asks, What makes you a wizard?

    I can read people’s minds!

A little doubtful, George asks, Well then, tell us what we do for a living?

You jerks are trying to build an internet company.

George says, You are absolutely right."

The wizard just disappears in nothingness.

What a wizard! More like a weenie. George said with some amazement showing on his face

Suddenly I’m waking up. I’m thinking this dream seems kind strange it looks so real. Now I’m not sure if this was a dream or I was by this guy teleported in his dimension. I’m so perplexed and walking dazed with bewildering thoughts.

    Chapter One====

The following night in my bed suddenly I fall asleep and I don’t know for sure if I’m dreaming or I’m being teleported in the future by this guy from another dimension.

Knowing that Vacoor has all kinds of power: perhaps, I was being teleported in his universe.

Down in the underworld, the scenery seems very similar to those pictures in cartoons. The colors are all red and gooey.

This one big entity approaches them. Then he says,

Hi guys! My name is Vacoor.

They all looked shocked at what is said.

George is the most shocked. He believes that he only created this guy in his mind. He then thinks—maybe I can see in the other world. After all, this being is semi-good looking as he sees himself.

Vacoor says, "There is one thing that I will show you guys that I mean what I say and I will prove to you what I can do.

I want you to pick the biggest lotteries, that pay the largest amount of money; naturally, pick any numbers and play them; moreover, keep the ticket hidden away so, that no one knows of the location but you.

I will make each one of you the single winner. Be sure that you all select a different lottery. Put the paper with the numbers in a safe.

After, you see all that money in your hands you can spend it and enjoy it plus you’ll be so successful with women. You’ll have so many women you won’t know what to do with them."

George says, Oh yes, we’ll know what to do with them.

Al thinks—I’ll have two for breakfast, two for lunch, two for dinner and one for dessert.

Vacoor says, "Like I was saying before I was interrupted.

If you deceive me, all your riches will be gone. Your company will go bankrupt."

They all look around this world it seems to be quite similar to the gruesome pictures seen in movies. It is similar in every way except, it is not hot.

George asks, "Can we explore around here?

    Vacoor says, Sure!

There are fields like those seen in Wisconsin. It is rather cool than thought by most. Raul buttons his sweater to the top. It seems like a cold heart.

In the far corner, there are four silver elevators. George says,

That must be their transporter room.

There is a buzzing sound as they near this machine. It all seems so high-tech. Ed thinks—I wonder why this guy needs us. He probably needs the best, why us?

Along the wall, there are a bunch of screens with keyboards underneath them.

This appears to be an executive office. With plaques sitting all around; there are tons of notebooks.

Ed figures this must be where they keep notes on people.

    Ed thinks there
