About this ebook
Bourbon & White takes six well-rounded, intelligent neighborhood kids and place them in adventurous yet mysterious instances where they are charged with retrieving an envelope.
While expounding on traditional character traits of respect and kindness, the more pronounced theme of this edition captures acts of benevolence by young people who openly and willingly appeal to their elders as well as their peers. Bourbon & White go further to show it does not take excessive amount of time to care, be kind, and help those in need.
6 Secrets from Throne shares the tale of six kids who have the chance to exercise kindness through a wealth of good deeds for others to emulate.

SIX SECRETS FROM THRONE
BOURBON & WHITE
Lee Dupree
O ne summer morning, a Saturday around 7:30 a.m., in the neighborhood of Allston, in Boston, Massachusetts, I am sitting on the front steps.
Wendy! Wendy! Wendy! I got the job!
I hear my dad exclaim.
That’s nice, dear. You will now be working for the Rodham’s International Foundation for Children’s Healthcare,
Wendy calmly replies.
Yes, I’ll be able to give assistance to those who are unable to help themselves,
Lee Sr. replies.

Wow! My dad will help people. Hey! Maybe I can do something kind for someone today, I think to myself.

Hey, that’s one of the cleanest kids in the neighborhood. I wonder if he’d be willing to help me, I ask myself.
Hi, Lee! Why are you so happy today?
Benjamin shouts as he approaches.
My dad just got a new job. He’s going to help people. Do you think we can help someone today?
I ask him.
Just then, we hear Mrs. Mary crying. She is a sixty-something-year-old retired Italian-American lady who is the presiding headmaster of the Montessori preschool my friends and I attended. Mrs. Mary’s
