The Joy of Poetry and Short Stories: From Love Poems to Grotesque Demons
()
About this ebook
In his earthly life, at the age of six, he witnessed the horrific death of his father in a motorcycle accident. He then contracted pharynx polio, which left him unable to speak correctly. Prior to coming to earth, Taylor lived in the system of the star Kolob, past the Andromeda Galaxy. There he was a one-star general in the midst of a civil war. His loyalties were torn, and his hesitation in choosing sides led to his banishment to Earth, where only through dreams and visions is he able to understand his purpose. What’s more, while living an earthly life, he has been burdened with visions of female demons who tortured him and dragged him to the dungeons of hell—introducing him to the unseen world of spiritual warfare. He has turned to God for help, struggling to do right and to find love and affection along the way.
In this collection of prose and verse, one man reflects on his journey through life not just on this planet but also in a distant galaxy and in the realm of the spirit.

About the Author
PREFACE
I started writing poems and stories about my life when I was a young man. My poems are very different from what you may read in other poetry books. In this book, there are many poems and short stories. They are very personal tales about my many loves, my many sufferings as a result of them, and my struggle as a child after having pharynx polio, which made me unable to speak correctly. I was placed in an iron lung for several weeks in order to help me breathe, because I had polio in my throat.
1950IronLung01.jpgThe iron lung that I was in as a child
And of course my life was affected when I witnessed my father being burned to death in a motorcycle accident before my eyes at the young age of six.
Some of these poems and stories are very unusual and will take you to a place you have never been before. Some poems and writings are very spiritual. My life started long before I came to this earth, from a planet near the system of the Star Kolob, past the Andromeda galaxy, and beyond. On that planet, a civil war broke out. Many of these writings are about my life in that civil war. I was a one-star general, and I was addicted to power. I almost accepted the position of a four-star general in the rebel forces during that civil war, that Lucifer, the Rebel Leader, offered to me, but I hesitated. I finally chose to fight on the side of the monarch.
This displeased the legitimate sovereign king. I was stripped of my rank and reduced to a corporal. I lost my ability to speak and was sent to a faraway planet in another galaxy, called Earth.
I had to overcome the lust for power and all my other weaknesses. My effeminate feelings raped my mind and caused me many guilt feelings. They camouflaged my real life with delusions and the loss of a verifiable reality due to the overbearing memories of my past lives. These poems reveal how I was able to overcome my obsession with the military and my other weaknesses. Most of my life, I lived in a world of illusion, burdened by visions of female demons that tortured me and dragged me to the dungeons of hell. The poems also show how I battled with these spiritual beings my whole life and how I was able to turn to God for help.
These poems will open up your eyes and guide you to the next eternal world. It will give you a better understanding of the unseen world of demons and the coming of a new kingdom upon this earth.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12)
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
With a thankful heart, I acknowledge my first wife, Linda White Taylor, who is shown in the photograph below at the time I married her in England in 1963. She divorced me in 2005. She died in 2021. She helped me so much in the writings of this book, without even knowing she was doing it. Our marriage lasted forty-two years. During that time, I gave her nothing but heartaches, as she endured what she saw as an illusion life due to a past that was controlling my every action. Most of the poems in this book are about our life together, my struggles with the military, and my weaknesses.

I was sent to this world to overcome my obsession with the military, but my mind was covered with a veil of forgetfulness, so I could not remember my past lives. The evil forces that came from that other world did all they could to make sure I did not overcome any of my weaknesses (Revelation 12:9). They did all they could to drag me to the depths of hell. Only through my dreams and visions was I able to understand my purpose here on earth. The veil was taken from my eyes and my understanding was open. (Doctrine and Covenants 110:1)
I lived through a past life wearing the uniform of a one-star general on another planet, fighting in a civil war there. Because of my hesitation in choosing sides, I was banished to this earth. I was placed in the German army of World War I as a corporal and was killed in the Battle of Verdun. I was returned to my original planet but was sent to earth once again to complete the task I was told to do.
In my true or imaginative world, I put on many uniforms, first of a corporal chief of the French Foreign Legion. I fought with the French army in the civil war in the Republic of Biafra against Nigeria. I was given knighthood in the Knight Templar by the queen of France. I also became a member of the Knight Templar in the Masonic Lodge. I wore the uniform of King Solomon in the Master Mason third degree ceremony.
I also became a brigadier general in the Confederate Army in Louisiana, although I did not believe in slavery. I wore the uniform of the Colorado Army National Guard. I also wore the uniforms of the US Army Corps of Engineers in France and of a scout master in the Boy Scouts of America. I ended up as a petty officer in the US Navy (Seabees) in Vietnam and finally as a sergeant in the Colorado Air National Guard at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora, Colorado. I put on many uniforms during my life to satisfy my obsession with the military. It was a craving I could not control.
It really wasn’t my fault. I was driven almost to madness by female demons who knew me from my past life. They tortured me day after day for many years within many visions. They worked on my mind even when I was awake. I fell into many temptations because of my desires for the military and my other weaknesses. Only after many years was I able to overcome them all.
The King, who we call God, sent me into this world to overcome this obsession for the military, but I knew I would not be able to do it alone. In his almighty wisdom, he sent to me the only woman who could help me to complete this task. She was a powerful woman, with a determined mind and a strong will to have things done the right way. She was chosen to come to this
