He completed higher studies in France and the USA. He spent his youth in Vienna and married Louise from Vienna. They had two wonderful children, Peter and Barbara, who are now living in Vienna.
His professional life was colorful and full of achievements. He worked as a high officer in 9 countries, mainly for a multinational Swiss company Ciba. This book is a reflection of his observations and feelings about his life and the lives of so many people and places he knew during his long life. The poems, like paintings, depict the landscape of lives from different locations. They are real witnesses of human feelings in an honest way. They are the true stuff of our lives in realistic, surrealistic, romantic, and symbolic styles.
Painting is silent poetry, and poetry is painting that speaks.

Hope
Between your many past friends
there is only one who
never has stopped or changed;
this is your Hope.
when, the moon in the bright sky,
has traveled this route every night,
was your friend in your thoughts.
You wished to travel with her to overall.
She was your friend in your infancy time.
But as you grew up,
you realized
this was only a wish,
an illusion from a little child.
The little cute friends on playground
were your friends
for the time you were played around.
As a student, the friendship was much stronger
with loyalty, passion to each other at any time,
but the end of the school had dispersed all,
only wistful memories had remained
for so many delights,
joys and real friendship as it were.
Later in adult life,
your family was your real friend
who replaced the absence of so many past friends.
There is only one authentic friend in your entire life
who stood with you from infancy as your real friend,
never left you, never missed you
was always on your side,
in good and bad times.
This loyal friend is your Hope.
He never will die or disappear.
This Hope
is different from the Hope
mentioned in Puccini’s great opera work
Nessun Dorma
and the question of Turandot
to Calaf
to save his life or not
what is born each night and dies each down
Calaf answered Hope.
You Will Never Walk Alone
You were from childhood never alone
You crossed so many rivers to get to other side
You had always the bridge that only you saw
You had the hand that always raised you up
On so many roads, crook or straight
You never walk alone
When the days were dark like night
You did not see the sky with no stars
The hope gave you the strength
The helpful hand gave you drive
You could see where you are stand
You never walk alone
You had the help of the universe’s hand
When you were sitting in the room of exam
You never walk alone
When you was older age
You lost the vision, your strength
To get up
You lost the ability to talk
You lost the ability to walk
The universe’s hand gave you the halt
To save you from danger and harm
Walked with you in tempo slow
But you again could make your walk
Not alone, not rush
But you walk.

The Nation of Ukraine
I Cried for You
I cried not only once
I cried many times
I cried for a nice land,
A land I knew from school time.
I cried for the people of Ukraine,
The people I have never seen
With such bravery, such heroism.
I cried for cute little boys and girls
Who left everything they had
Their playground converted to battlegrounds
They must leave their homes, their friends
In so young age, be refugees in another land
Leave their favorite places, their school’s fields
Behind them, may never see them again.
I prayed for their young leader,
A leader who you can never imagine
With such high courage and keen.
I prayed for those babies and mothers
For old and young. They lost everything
fighting the moments to overcome the act of a devil.
I cried for that baby born two days ago
I cried for his mother, who was rescued onc
From bombardment of the maternity hospital
Giving birth in another hospital the next day
Mother and babies lived only two days together;
They were killed with the second bombardment.
I saw blurred the pictures of cruelty
The cruelty of an unnecessary war
The tears made it impossible
To see clear the immense destruction
