About this ebook
My goal was for this poetry to promote feelings, positive motivation and to connect with reality.
E.F. Young
My motto is in everything I write. I attempt to portray, the realities of life and its vast vice, to induce a smile, grasp a thought, instill a feeling that will linger awhile. I have been writing since my Junior High School years and my first poem was Suddenly I Wonder. I have a Masters of Education Degree in Curriculum with a specialization in the Arts from Lesley University Cambridge, Massachusetts. I am also a Liberal Arts graduate of Paine College, located in Augusta, GA with a major in History. I also am a state of Georgia employee.

The Realities of Life - E.F. Young
Always Achieving
Always Achieving
Forever Believing
The Motto of today,
If you can perceive
Your heart can receive,
And belief is on the way
Always achieving
Forever believing
What is this you say?
Your focus of who and
What you are,
Your goal in life’s
Long way
Who said that it would be easy?
Who said that it would be fine?
In life sometimes you may be,
Forced to walk a very, very thin line
Set a goal, get a grip,
Keep your spirits high!
Fall down, get up,
Get focused now!!
Always achieving
Forever believing.

Siempre Realizando
Siempre Realizando
Siempre Creyendo
El Mato De Hoy
Su Corazon puede recibir
Si usted puede percibir
Su Corazon puede recibir
Y creer que esta en camino
Siempre creyendo
¿Que fue’ esto que dijiste?¿
Su enfoco de quien, y
Que lo eres
Su meta en vida es
Un largo camino
¿Quien dijo que sera facil¿
¿Quien dijo que sera fino¿
En la vida aveces estaras
Forzado caminar una linea muy muy delagado
Tenga una meta, ponte en cargo
Mantenga su espiritu alto!
Caes, Levantate
Pongate atento ahora!!
Siempre realizando!
Siempre creyendo!

To Martin Luther King, Jr.
If you were here alive today,
You’ll probably be striving, in your own way,
to lead all people, both great and small,
for their civil rights and chance to stand tall.
You will probably have another dream by now,
somewhere pressed into your mind’s brow,
there will be other problems both old and
