CHAPTER ONE
Madelynn came home like always from work, she walked into the empty house. Her two sons were at a friend’s house, her husband Quinn was away. She slowly went upstairs and headed to the bathroom. She was taking a shower as a man in all black, climbed into the house and hid in the corner and waited until she was done. After Madelynn was done showering, she got out and headed to the bedroom, where she put on her pajamas. She then headed to the living room, she turned on the TV. A few minutes later, she fell asleep. She heard a noise, the front door slammed open. She woke up and looked around, she looked at her watch. It was around midnight. She said, Quinn is that you honey?
She got up and looked concerned at the front door.
It started to rain, thundering and lightning. She walked slowly to the door as she looked outside, she checked to see if Quinn’s car was outside but it wasn’t. She turned around and walked back into the house. She went into the kitchen. I need a vacation,
she whispers to herself. She grabbed a glass and poured some water, and as she was drinking the man was watching her. He came up behind her and grabbed her by the neck. She screamed, Let go!
She dropped her glass as it shattered on the floor, the man didn’t say a word. The man took a knife out of his pocket, and holds it against her throat. Madelynn screams and can feel the knife on her throat. What do you want from me?
she asks. No answer. She kicks her foot behind her and hits him in the stomach. He drops to the floor, holding his stomach. She escapes and runs up the stairs to her bedroom. She turns around and closes the door behind her and locks it. She runs for the phone. The room is dark, she couldn’t see anything. She tried to dial 911 but was so scared, that she dropped the phone.
The man got up and walked slowly upstairs to the bedroom. He turned the knob but it was locked, she heard him coming. She started to panic more and dialed 911 again. Finally, she got someone. The man breaks the door down. She whispered in the phone, There is a man trying to kill me.
The man walked into the room and could hear her whispering. He saw her. Oh my god,
she screamed. He sliced her throat and stabbed her in the chest. The man finished the job. He walked out freely.
A few minutes later, the police came. Policemen Andrew Williams and Keith Woods arrive at the house. They searched the house and found Madelynn dead on the bed. They called Quinn as well as the two sons, Danny and Eric. The Parker family and friends buried her in the cemetery. Danny looked at the grave stone, wondering who did this to her.
Five years have gone by since her death, it took a toll on Danny and Eric. Danny doesn’t like to talk about it. Eric starts to dream and gets flashbacks about their mom. Over the years, Danny and Eric attend college with their friends. Danny has been dating Chantelle Matthews for a few years. Danny wants to be a doctor Eric followed his dad in being a police officer. Abby went to college for acting. Chantelle’s older brother Adam went for computers. Chantelle and Rachel are cheerleaders and Kevin is a football player. Daisy always loved to show and help people with clothing, so a designer it is. Quinn moved out of the house were his wife was murdered. He is still a police officer with Rachel’s dad, Andrew Williams and Keith Woods.
CHAPTER TWO
The eight friends decided to get away for awhile. Danny gets into his black mustang and drives to his girlfriend’s house. He parks his car and gets out. Danny took out his keys and unlocked the door to her house. He walks up slowly to Chantelle’s bedroom. Chantelle is by the mirror with a white tank top and pink underwear she is doing her hair and makeup. She
